Bareness
Bareness
The floor feels cold
Under my bare feet
Out there, threads of gold
Paint the hills my eyes meet
Out the windows
With lighter shades of green.
I can see the wind blow
And I want to feel it between
My fingers... Or even more
My night robe now seems heavy
I let it drop down to floor
Feeling free of a burden, a levee
I open the window
Side to side
Opened wide
And let my spirit grow
With this wonderful nakedness
The warmth touch of the sun caresses
My entireness
Completeness
I can see it now
With nothing to block my sight
I can see the world so bright
Outside
Inside
Was before so dark and dismal
Now that I've got rid off my clothes
There's a difference, abysmal
Oh the outer skin, hypocrisy loathes
There be always
A word not spoken
A kiss not given
A road not taken
A time not spent
In all the possible ways
A letter not sent
A love not confessed
A time to get undressed
And open your window
And let the world to know
You dropped your robes down
And freedom will be your crown
Bare your world to be blessed.
