He lets out a growl. Then he advance at me. Is this guy really gonna put up a fight against me? Tch... It will be really easy. It won't be a fair match. He's a weak human.... a foolish human.

Alex P.O.V

I duck when he swung the baseball bat towards me. "You're slow..." I teased him. I could easily end this fight if I want to. But I want to play for a bit. If I did beat him in a count of seconds. It will only make them suspect me.

I don't really want to fight him. Even though he hurts Y/N many times... He is still someone Y/N used to love. I know that she still cares for him. So I don't want to hurt him, Y/N would hate me if I did. So I just gonna defend myself against his attacks.

He growls and start swing the baseball bat in my way. I easily dodge every single swine he did. He pants, placing his hand on his knee. While the other is still holding the baseball bat. I stand up straight, then I cross my arms across my chest as I look at him with a smirk. "What's wrong man? Why are you so slow?" I said. He growls at me. 'Here we go again...' I thought to myself.

Y/N P.O.V

When I woke up its getting late. "Alex?" I call out. But I didn't get a respond. It's so unusual for him to leave me like this. I wonder what's wrong. I hope he's okay.

I get up and walk out of the tent. I saw one of Alex's friends. "Hey... Have you seen Alex?" I asks. He turn to look at me. "Oh Y/N... Yeah, I saw him walking towards that direction" he said, pointing towards a certain direction. I nod my head "okay... Thank you, Max..." I said. He smiles at me and nod his head "welcome..." He said. I turn around and walk towards the direction he showed me.

As I walk, I could make out someone is yelling. By the sound of it... It's two person. I hurriedly make my way there. The voice sounds familiar.

Then from afar I could make out two silhouette fighting. Well... One of them. While the other just continue to dodge. I run and saw its Alex and Carl.

"Stop it! Both of you!" I yell out. They stop and turn to me. "Y/N..." I heard Carl said. I ignore him and make my way to Alex. "Are you okay?" I asks. "Yeah... You don't need to worry about me..." He said. I just nod my head. Then I turn to face Carl. I walk towards him and push him away with full force. This makes him stumble a bit. I glare at him. He looks at me with a shock expression. I look at him in anger. "What the f*ck is your problem, huh?" I yelled. "Y/N... He..." He start. "Shut up! I don't want to hear anything you have to say! You're a liar, Carl! I have no reason to believe you!" I scream. "Y/N..." He looks hurt.

I turn around and walk towards Alex. "Let's go, Alex..." I said. He nods his head and wrap his arm around my shoulder.

Then out of the sudden, someone pushes Alex away from me. It was none other than Carl. By now everyone else is gathering. "Carl! What's your problem?!" I scream. "You! You're my problem, Y/N... I love you... But you chose to be with him!" He screams back. My eyes widen, then I glare at him. "What do you know? I have every reason to choose Alex over you..." I said. He just stares at me.

"1. Alex never hurts me... 2. He treats me way better than you did! 3. He gives me more trust than you did..." I walk towards Carl as I said every points. Now I'm standing face to face. My face is dangerously close to him. "....And 4. He protects me at all caused... Make sure that I'm okay... Unlike you! You're a coward... Traitor!" I spat.

He grabs both of my shoulders. "That's why I need a chance Y/N! A chance to show you that I could change! But you refuse to give me..." He said. "How much more of a chance do you want me to give you?! I've been giving you chances countless of times, Carl... But each time you broke it!" I said. He tightens his grip on my shoulders. "Just one more chance..." He plead. "No more chances... I've had enough of you... Now let go of me" I said. But he didn't budge.

He keeps tightening his grip on my shoulders. I wince "Ow! Carl... you're hurting me!" I said in between pain.

Then someone yank him of me. Alex holds him by the collar. Then he push him against a tree. He holds him, until his legs is dangling of the ground.

"Alex!" I gasp. But he ignores me. He leans his face dangerously close with Carl's. "I've had it with you.... Don't you dare touch her again!" He spats.

I walk towards him and hold his arm. "Alex... Stop it..." I said softly. He turns to me and I let out a gasp. His eyes is blood red. "Why? Why are you still defending him, Y/N? He hurts you countless of times! Why are you still protecting him? A person like him should be dead! I will kill him..." He said.

"I know he hurts me, Alex... But I don't want you to be a killer!" I said. I place my hand on his cheek. "Please... Let him go..." I plead. His eyes soften. He release him, then he turns to look at me.

He cups my cheek "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to scare you..." He said. I nod my head and hugs him. He hugs me close to him. "I love you, Y/N... So much..." He whispers. "I love you too, Alex..." I said.

I look around to see everyone is looking at us. Mostly at Alex. They are looking at him with fear. I heard a cough. I turn to look at Carl who's crouching down. He looks up at Alex.

"W-what are you...." He said. Alex just stare at him. Then he looks at me. He sighs "there's no point of hiding it anymore..." He starts. Then he walk towards Carl. He crouch down to his eyes. Looking at him with his blood red eyes. "I'm a vampire..." He said.
