So! I'm back :3 Took me way longer than I expected. I planned to come back in January, and now it's September 😅 Here's to hoping I stick it out this time!

It was pretty late out, about 2:57 am. It was also pretty dark. The stars were twinkling and the soft Moonlight shined down on everything. Many were sleeping, or working if they weren't. Not them, though. On a random street, in a random house, in a random country, someone was awake and looking outside, watching the stars and moon. The way the stars twinkled and with how gentle the Moonlight was, it drew them in. They had always found the night to be beautiful, albeit dangerous depending on where you were.

As they watched the night sky, they saw a star fly past in the night sky. A shooting star, so to say. Their eyes lit up, it was a rare and beautiful sight. Then, they remembered the old saying that if you wished on a star, your wish would come true. They didn't particularly believe it, having never been superstitious. However, they jokingly wished to be reborn as Hecade, the Insomnia shipkid he had been making recently.

Looking at the clock, they realized it was 3am and decided to head to bed. If they had realized that making that wish would actually grant it, they would have never made the stupid wish in the first place. Would have never even thought of jokingly wishing for it again. However, they had made that wish, and they were going to wish they never had. As they fell asleep, the soft Moonlight they loved so much surrounded them. Without so much as a sound, they vanished, off to live their new life, whether they wanted to or not.
