"DO YOU NOT like my jeans either?" she asked sadly before looking down at her pants. They were just regular basic blue jeans. There wasn't anything that truly set them apart from the other jeans out in the world.

"I'd like you without them," he told her honestly. Her brows furrowed before she folded her arms over her chest. She knew exactly what he was trying to do, but she wasn't going to allow him to succeed.

"Your food is getting cold," Avelina stated, bending down to pick up the tray he had placed on the floor. She looked at him to see his eyes burning into her own.

"It's too late for me to eat at this time," he spoke. She frowned at his response as she looked at the food in her hands. It took her a while to make his lunch.

"I was looking for you throughout this huge house," she pointed out sadly. He reached over and grabbed a towel before running it through his hair. She took that time to quickly assess his body once more. He was definitely muscular and tall, and as she looked even more-her eyes inspected his package. Her cheeks blushed a deep crimson color as she quickly looked away just as he placed the towel back where it was.

With that, Avelina placed the tray back onto the floor.

"Can you do hair?" He questioned. Her brows raised, not expecting that question but she was quick to nod her head. He handed her an elastic leaving her to grab onto it. He sat down on the comfy chair as she stared at him in confusion.

He turned to look at her with a blank expression on his face before sighing. "Are you mentally slow? I presumed that by me asking if you knew how to do hair, handing you a hair tie, and turning around that it would be enough of an implication."

"Yeah, I'm sorry," she muttered feeling her cheeks heat up even more. She walked up to him with an unsteady breath. Due to how tall he was, she had to get up on her knees atop the cushioned chair he was sitting in.

Avelina steadied herself by gripping his shoulder leaving her heart to skip a beat. His skin was still wet, but it was soft and rigid. She brought her hand up to his long strands of hair. It was a nice brown color and it fit him perfectly. She used her finger to comb through it as everything felt like it was happening in slow motion.

Her fingers grazed his scalp, and she could tell that he liked it based on the way his eyes closed. She found herself enjoying it as well. Every time she grazed his skin, he leaned back farther into her.

Biting down onto her lip, she finally began to grip all of his hair. Wrapping the elastic around his long strands, she folded it over and made it into a bun like he had it when she had first met him. As soon as she finished, her hands went down to his shoulder once more. Even though he had just gotten out of the pool, he was still warm. She found herself wanting her hand to go lower and lower.

For some reason, her hands had a mind of their own as they crept down his body. He didn't say anything as he leaned back so his head rested on her breast. She was feeling his chest and going even lower to touch the top of his abs. It felt so erotic with the way her breathing grew heavier with ease. When she looked over at him, his eyes were still closed, but she could pick up on the increase of his breathing as well.

She quickly pulled away and got off the chair. Nothing like that had ever happened on the job before. It was completely unprofessional of her and she knew it. His eyes shot open the second she pulled away from him.

"I-I'm sorry," she whispered.

"A book called 'The Power of Apology' where a psychotherapist states that over-apologizing especially over situations beyond your control may seem as though you are kind and caring, but you're actually sending the message that you aren't intellectual and you lack confidence. It lessens the impact of a true apology for needed in the future. Also, it's proven but only based on polls, that people tend to lose respect for those who over-apologize," Adrik stated. She stared at him blankly as she thought about his words. He was definitely smart, and it was also the most she had ever heard him speak.

"Well, I'm not as dumb as you think and I would say that I'm pretty confident," she told him, finally standing up for herself.

"If you were confident, you wouldn't have taken your napkin off," he responded.

She pulled her eyes away from him and towards the water as she found herself frowning once more. He got up from the chair and walked right past her and back up the stairs leaving her all alone with the soup.

Picking the soup back up, she headed towards the kitchen and placed it into the microwave. If he wasn't going to eat it, she would.

As she waited for the microwave to ding, she found herself thinking about his words once more. It was really tugging at her brain and she couldn't shake it.

Suddenly, Avelina looked down to see that she was still missing a shirt. With a groan, she walked back towards the pool and picked her blouse up from the floor. As she placed it back on, she chuckled sadly at the fact that it did look like a napkin. She didn't want him to be right, but he most definitely was.

Just as soon as she finished placing her clothing back on, she walked back into the kitchen where the microwave had already finished. Once she grabbed the bowl from the microwave, she sat it down on the counter softly and ate away. It was delicious.

All of a sudden, her phone rang. She fished it out of her pocket and pressed accept before bringing it up to her ear. There was the sound of crying on the line leaving Avelina to pull the phone away from her ear to look at the Caller ID. The Called ID had read Miss Paola leaving worry to quickly take over her features.

"Miss Paola! Are you okay? Where are you?" Avelina asked, already making her way towards the door. Laughing could be heard that had overlapped the sound of crying which caused Avelina's worries to quickly replace itself with confusion.

"Me? I'm fine. My new caregiver isn't, though," she laughed. Avelina sighed as a small smile couldn't stop itself from making its way onto her face.

"What did you do?" Avelina laughed. She felt guilty for laughing because she knew that the new caregiver must've been at her breaking point when it came to dealing with Miss Paola. The woman was a handful who loved to get her way no matter the cost.

"I told her that if she put that damn spoon full of her unseasoned a*s food anywhere near my goddamn lips again, I'd lock her in the closet. She just laughed, hehe," Miss Paola mocked. "Then, she did it again. Now, look at her. She's in the closet just like I promised."

"Miss Paola, let her out of the closet. She's just trying to do her job," Avelina told her. The elder woman on the line sighed as the cries of the new caregiver could be heard.

"You should be here with your amazing food. I know it hasn't even been close to that long ago, but I miss you as my caregiver," she said

"I know, I feel the same way. It doesn't give you an excuse to lock people in closets. Just give her a chance-"

"Hold on one second- Lady, if you don't stop all your crying, I'll start forcing you to eat your own nasty cooking. I see why you don't have a ring on that finger yet!" Miss Paola shouted sounding distant leaving Avelina to frown.

"No, Miss Paola, that's cruel. As I was saying, you need to give her a chance. Her job is to take care of you, and as long as she's trying to do that-then you should allow her to," she spoke kindly.

"Fine. I'll let her out of the closet," Miss Paola groaned out. Avelina smiled at the change of heart as she waited for Miss Paola to exactly as she promised. A few minutes seemed to pass along with the sound of a door slamming. Miss Paola chuckled mischievously followed by the noise of shuffling.

"I let her out, ready to give her a chance, but the girl ran out of my house like her pants were on fire," Miss Paola stated nonchalantly.

"Well, she was crying in a closet," Avelina pointed out, chuckling lightly.

"She wasn't tough enough for me," Miss Paola spoke. Avelina's nodded her head even if she couldn't see it. Deep down, she missed the older woman so much. It had only been a few hours, but Avelina had grown accustomed to the eleven hours a day that she would see her.

"Well, cook yourself something to eat, or order room service. Don't forget to bathe and also please take out your dentures before you go to sleep," Avelina begged.

"Damnit, girl! Why did you have to go blabbering my business like that? I only forgot one time," Miss Paola said, causing Avelina's to erupt in laughter once more. It was always entertaining talking to Miss Paola. Avelina's life wouldn't be the same without her.

"I'll be sure to check on you tomorrow. Have a good evening, Miss Paola. Be nice to your caregiver tomorrow," Avelina stated.

"Don't you dare forget," she said. Just as Avelina was about to repeat herself about being nice, Miss Paola hung up the phone. As Avelina shook her head, the smile never seemed to fall from her face.

When she had finished eating, she went back to her room to unpack everything. After that had ceased, she took off her napkin blouse and threw it in the trash. She hated the thin shirt all because of a small comment that made her never see it the same ever again.

Placing on a plain t-shirt she placed her hair up in a ponytail before exiting her room once more to make dinner. The paper had stated that he always ate Beef Stroganoff. So, she fried some chopped meat, added Onion along with sour cream until it was ready. It actually wasn't as difficult as the soup had been.

Then, she boiled some potatoes and placed them as a side on top of the plate alongside the Stroganoff. She even added vegetables since it was what the paper had insisted on her to do. Once it was done, she smiled at her achievement.

As she made her way to Adrik's room, she held the plate in her hands. She continuously checked the time and made sure she wasn't late because she didn't want him to miss out on another meal.

The second she made it to his room, she glanced at the time once more to see that she was one minute early. Quickly, she knocked on the door and waited until he opened it up. As soon as she saw him, she placed the plate in his hand and over-dramatically wiped away the sweat from her forehead.

He opened the door wider for her to come in as he sat down on his bed and began to eat the food she had cooked for him. She stepped further into his bedroom, staring at the painting once more.

She couldn't figure out what was so compelling about it.

Avelina wasn't sure how long she stood staring at the painting, but when she glanced over at Adrik, he was practically finished. She watched him as he sat his plate down onto the floor as if he were going to dispose of it later.

"You're still here," he pointed out. She blushed as she found herself looking down at the floor, already feeling so embarrassed. Sometimes, she hated how weak she made herself out to be.

"Yeah, well, I have to make sure you take a shower or bath before I'm allowed to take the rest of the night off," she explained. He stood up from the bed and walked towards the restroom where he switched on the light. Her feet seemed to follow him and she couldn't figure out why. Her body and her mind were currently Irreconcilable.

"I know you want to f*ck me, Avelina," he spoke with a smug look on his face. Johnathan made it seem like he was incapable of moving his face at all, but that wasn't completely the case. She froze at his words.

"That's not appropriate," she muttered. He walked towards her and pressed the pad of his thumb against her lips.

"But you want me. I can see it in your eyes. Even when I asked you to do my hair, your touch wasn't as innocent as you make yourself out to be," he stated. She found herself swallowing hard as she stared at him. He was still completely shirtless and it was taking every bit of restraint not to look at his bulging muscles that were right in her face.

"When I first saw you, all I could think about was how long it'll be before I'm so deep inside of you that your innocence turns evil," he promised. She couldn't believe what she had just heard, and she hated herself for the throbbing in her lower region at the sound of it.

He grabbed her hand and placed it on his lower abdomen. She could feel the ridges of his abs as her finger grazed it. Her panties were becoming wet by the second. She had never been so turned on by a man she barely knew.

"Go lower," he ordered. She craned her neck up so her eyes could meet his as she found herself doing exactly what he said. She allowed her hand to slowly creep down until they were at the hem of his shorts. Something was begging her to go lower, but she held restraint.

"I want to destroy you," he stated. Once again, her heavy breathing returned as he placed his hand on her lower back and pulled her in even closer. She couldn't stop the jolts of electricity that made its way directly to her inner core.

"Isn't that why you really want me to bathe? If you want me to be naked, all you have to do is ask," he spoke. Suddenly, he began to lean in even more until his lips were so close to hers. When his eyes glanced down to look at her lips, she quickly knocked herself out her sex-filled haze before backing up away from him for the second time that day. It was challenging, but she needed to remind herself that he was her client.

"Mr. Zolotov, I have to make sure you bathe before I leave. It's apart of my job protocol," she repeated softly. The truth was that he made her feel nervous.

"Fine," he stated before walking over to his bathtub. Her eyes followed his movements as he pulled off his shorts causing her to lick her lips and quickly look away. She could hear the sound of more clothes falling onto the ground until the noise of water running littered her eardrums.

"You assist when asked, isn't that right?" He asked. Slowly, she opened her eyes to see that he had already gotten into the shower.

"Yes," Avelina answered.

"Bathe me."

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the chapter. I know things are a bit fast, but keep in mind that Adrik holds nothing back. If that's what he wants, he's going to let it be known lmao. Love you guys!
