Night Out

"Please wake up..."

Schneep sat on his cot next to Marvin for hours after he had bandaged him up using what first aid supplies the Winchesters had, constantly making sure that the magician had plenty of food and water.

"Henrik, shouldn't we like take him to a vet or something?" Sam questioned, the German shaking his head as he watched Marvin's back rose and fall with each shallow breath he took.

"He isn't normal, zhey vould know zhat he is different." Schneep replied absent mindlessly, Sam sitting on the other bed.

"Damn it Cas, where the hell are you?" Dean cursed under his breath, pacing around the room.

"Vhy did he disappear?" Schneep questioned, Dean letting out a sigh.

"It was a sigil that gets rid of every angel in the nearby area, sending them to who knows where." Dean answered.

"Could he heal Marvin?" Schneep asked hopefully, Sam and Dean exchanging a look.

"We don't know, being blasted to a different area kinda takes a lot out of angels." Dean stated.

"God, vhat have I done?" Schneep whispered as he delicately ran a hand down the soft fur on Marvin's back.

"That wasn't you." Sam reminded Schneep gently, the German resting his hand on Marvin's head as he turned to look at the brothers.

"What's zhe point of being a doctor if everyone you care about dies at your hands and you can do nothing to stop it?" Schneep countered, his voice barely audible.

Neither Winchester answered as Schneep dragged a finger along the scar left on his neck by Anti, the German closing his eyes.

"It night not seem like it right now, but things will get better." Sam promised Schneep, Dean nodding in agreement.

"I have an idea. You and I should go out to a bar, have a couple of drinks and forget about life for awhile." Dean suggested.

"But-"

"I'll watch over Marvin, you go enjoy yourself." Sam cut in with a smirk, Schneep glancing over at Marvin.

"I'll call if anything changes with Marvin." Sam told Schneep as the German reluctantly followed Dean out of the room.

"Don't worry, drinks and food are on me." Dean winked, waving down a taxi once they got out of the hotel to take them to the nearest bar.

The pair sat down at the wooden barstools by the bar once they arrived, looking over the menu.

"I'll have the El Sol beer and bacon burger." Dean told the bartender once he made his decision, Schneep stroking his goatee thoughtfully.

"I vill take zhe Pilsner beer and a salad." Schneep decided, placing the menu down as the bartender walked off to get their order.

"A salad? Really?" Dean scoffed, Schneep shrugging in response as the bartender returned with their drinks.

"Ya know, you're a weird guy Doc." Dean remarked, picking up his stein as Schneep picked up his drink.

"I'll drink to zhat." Schneep chuckled, clinking his stein with Dean's before taking a long drink of his beer.

"Hey, we should play darts. I win, you buy the next round. You win, I'll buy." Schneep suggested, pointing over at the dart board in the back of the bar.

"Alright hot shot, let's see what you got then." Dean countered with a grin, following Schneep to the dart board.

"Ladies first." Dean taunted, Schneep shooting Dean a playful look as he picked up a handful of darts.

His first dart hit the edge of the board, his second one embedding into the second ring and the last one sticking into the ring next to the bullseye.

"Not bad, not bad." Dean remarked, Schneep grinning smugly as he took the darts off of the board and handed them to Dean.

The green eyed male casually tossed his darts with ease at the board, all of them hitting the bullseye.

"Thanks for the drinks Doc." Dean snickered, Schneep's mouth slightly agape in awe as they returned to their table.

"How did you do zhat? Are you a hunter?" Schneep questioned Dean as he took a drink if his beer.

"Something like that." Dean murmured as he slammed his glass back down on the bar, the bartender handing the males their food.

"You're a lot like Sam." Dean mused through a mouthful of his burger, his words barely understandable.

"Brutto, close your mouth." Schneep directed as he wrinkled his nose in disgust, Dean swallowing the food.

"What did you just call me?" Dean replied with a frown, Schneep eating a bite of his salad with a smirk.

"I didn't call you anything mein friend." Schneep answered with an innocent smile, Dean eyeing Schneep warily as he continued eating.

"Vhy do I remind you of Sam?" Schneep asked curiously, Dean putting his burger down and looking at the German.

"You're a smart guy, but sometimes your heart takes over your head. That, and you and him are both salad freaks." Dean stated, earning a light punch on the shoulder from Schneep.

Their meal was interrupted when a drunk man dragged Schneep off of his stool by the back of his lab coat and raised a fist to hit him, Dean moving to intervene.

Schneep retaliated by side stepping the punch and kicking the man behind his knees, causing him to fall to the floor like a tree.

Soon the bar was filled with fighting, Dean and Schneep standing back to back as drunks swung at anything near them.

"C'mon, lets get out of here." Dean advised as an angry man emerged from the back and threatened to call the cops.

Schneep staggered out of the bar with a laugh as Dean helped keep him upright, Schneep's face a bright red shade from the adrenaline and alcohol.

"Zhat was zhe best night I've had in a long time." Schneep admitted with a laugh as he looked up at the night sky, a wide grin on his face.

"Yeah, same here Doc." Dean agreed, retrieving his phone out of his pocket as it vibrated.

"Yeah Sam?" Dean prompted, the smile on his face quickly fading.

"Okay, we're on our way now, try to keep him calm." Dean instructed before ending the call and waving down a taxi.

"Vhat is happening?" Schneep asked, instantly becoming more alert as he climbed into the taxi with Dean.

"It's Marvin. He..." Dean trailed off as if searching for the right words to say, the German's impatience flaring.

"He what?!" Schneep snapped, Dean biting his lip.

"He's on the roof, and he's not planning on coming down alive."
