"Vhere are ve?" Schneep demanded once Anti arrived at his new destination, his surroundings unfamiliar to Schneep.
Anti was sitting on the rooftop of a large building, his feet dangling over the edge as he silently looked out at the sea of neon lights that lit up the night sky.
"LA, the city of fallen angels. Seems kind of fitting for me I suppose." Anti replied with a shrug, standing up before walking towards the fire escape.
"Anti."
Anti froze at the voice as he turned around, a male dressed in a black suit with raven black hair standing behind him with his hands clasped behind his back.
"Dark, I just need more time-"
"Anti, my patience is running thin. You've had plenty of time to find Marvin and take his soul, and now I find you here in a different meat suit far from the target with no soul." Dark interrupted, taking a step forward.
Schneep abruptly felt control of his body return to him as he faced Dark, his blue eyes wide as he turned to run.
"Hello, and who might you be?"
Schneep let out a startled cry as Dark appeared in front of him, his pitch black eyes shining with amusement.
"I just vant to go home and have everything return to normal!" Schneep blurted, gasping as Dark grabbed the collar of Schneep's shirt and dragged him towards the edge of the roof.
Schneep screamed as he fell back towards the city below, his arms wildly flailing as he prayed that Dark wouldn't let go.
"You're talking to the king of the crossroads, so I would try having a little respect." Dark hissed in Schneep's ear before roughly pulling Schneep away from the edge.
Schneep stumbled and fell to the ground, curling up into a ball and squeezing his eyes shut as Dark waltzed over to Schneep and stood over him.
"Now, tell me your name you pathetic worm." Dark snarled, kicking Schneep hard in the ribs.
Schneep wheezed as all of the air in his lungs was forced out, the German weakly trying to crawl away.
"Henrik...my name...is Henrik." Schneep finally answered as he managed to catch his breath.
"I know you're hiding Anti, and I'll let you go this time. Fail me again however, and I won't be as forgiving."
When Schneep opened his eyes, Dark was gone much to his relief, Anti taking control and traveling to the ground.
"Vhy didn't you take control and save me from him? Do you just like watching me suffer so much?!" Schneep snapped furiously, Anti silently walking down the sidewalk.
"I didn't intervene because I'm terrified of him, he could end my life with a snap of his fingers." Anti admitted, his voice filled with genuine fear for the first time since Schneep met him.
"There's our guy Cas."
Anti once again let me control my body just as I felt someone grab me from behind, spinning me around.
"Please help me, I vant to be home." I whispered pleadingly, standing face to face with Sam, Dean, and another male dressed in a tan trench coat with vibrant blue eyes.
"Dean, I think you're mistaken-"
"No Cas, this is him alright." Dean cut his counterpart off, circling around me as if expecting Anti to take back control at any moment.
"Dean, this guy is possessed by Anti, but it's clear that he doesn't want to be. We can't just end his life to get rid of Anti." Sam spoke.
"Do it zhen."
"Excuse me?" Dean scoffed in disbelief, exchanging a confused look with his brother and Cas.
"If zhat's vhat it takes to get rid of Anti, zhen do it. I can't let more lives he ruined because of him or myself." Schneep argued quietly.
"Look, um..." Sam trailed off.
"Just call me Henrik." Schneep supplied wearily.
"Look Henrik, we're not going to kill you. We can figure something else out." Sam promised.
"How did you get here so quickly and find me?" Schneep questioned.
"Our friend Cas here is an angel, and he heard a tip about your whereabouts on angel radio." Dean answered.
Schneep started laughing as he shook his head, Dean shooting the German a wary frown as he stepped back and reached for the gun jammed in his waistband.
"If you told me zhat two days ago, I vould not believe you. Now I'm possessed by a demon and I almost got thrown off of a building by zhe king of zhe crossroads." Schneep chuckled mirthlessly.
"You met the king of the crossroad demons?" Cas interjected, stepping forward and placing a hand on Schneep's shoulder as he stared into the German's eyes with a fierce intensity.
"Yes, vell, it's a long story." Schneep sighed, rubbing his face with his hands.
"And we've got all night." Dean stated.
"Dean, we should book a room someplace and let Henrik rest. He looks like he's been through hell and back." Sam advised.
"No, I just vant to go home." Schneep protested, pushing away his weariness.
"We'll get you home, but first you look like you need a decent meal and some sleep." Sam replied gently.
"C'mon Doc, what's one more night away from home?" Dean added in hopes to change the German's mind.
"Okay, I guess I vill stay vith you." Schneep agreed hesitantly, not thrilled about the idea as he followed the three to a nearby hotel.
"Ya know, for a doctor, you're pretty shit at taking care of yourself." Anti mused as Schneep trudged after the trip towards their room.
"Tell me something I don't know." Schneep muttered bitterly, Cas turning back to look at him.
"It's just Anti being a pain again, I'm fi-"
Schneep broke off as his head throbbed with pain, the German leaning against the hall while pressing his free hand to the side of his head with a wince.
"You okay?" Sam asked, walking back towards Schneep with Dean and Cas at his side.
"Y-Yeah, I just-"
"It's fun to tear you apart from the inside, it really is. You've made my job easier too since you're already so broken, so thanks." Anti laughed, Schneep breaking off into a coughing fit as he slid down the wall towards the floor.
"I gotcha Doc." Dean grunted, catching Schneep in his arms and carrying him the rest of the way to the hotel room before dumping him onto the bed.
Schneep sat up as he coughed harder into the crook of his elbow, flecks of blood staining his lab coat.
"The hell is happening to him Cas?!" Dean shouted, the angel placing two fingers on the German's forehead.
"Whatever it is, the damage is happening so quickly that I can't heal it faster than it can spread." Cas stated grimly.
"I-it's hemoptysis." Schneep wheezed in between coughs, rolling off of the bed and staggering towards the bathroom.
"Hemo what?" Dean replied.
"Hemoptysis, it me-means zhat zhe-zhere is something wrong vith m-my lungs." Schneep explained as he spat blood into the sink.
"How do we help?" Sam asked worriedly from the doorway of the bathroom.
"Stop fighting me."
Schneep's eyes flickered between black and blue as he gripped onto the edge of the sink, his knuckles turning white.
"No, I can't!" Schneep cried out, his eyes abruptly rolling into the back of his head as his body fell towards the floor.
Cas caught him and brought him back to bed, pressing two fingers to Schneep's forehead again.
"There, that should at least slow down the damage Anti is causing." Cas declared, Dean letting out a long sigh.
"Well that's just peachy." He grumbled, sitting down on the second bed.
"Schneep has to let Anti control him, otherwise he'll die." Sam stated thoughtfully, sitting down by Dean.
"The Doc doesn't seem too bothered by the thought of death, so whatever Anti made him do really fucked him up." Dean countered.
"I'll watch over Henrik while you two sleep." Cas offered, Dean nodding in appreciation as he fell asleep in the second bed while Sam set up his bed on the fold out couch.
