See my way through the Darkness
"Leave me! Who the hell are you?" She screamed.
She was tied against a pillar in a dark room. Her hands were tightly tied in a rope and her eyes covered. All she could see was black. But they definitely couldn't have tied her feelings. It meant she could still feel.
And right now, she felt the existence of seven people around.
"Who are you! Why did you bring me here?!" She started again.
But seemed like those people had no mercy left in them. They won't listen. Who were they?
"Hey! You guys wait till Dad comes here! He will kill you!" She screamed.
Then she felt a voice. It came from behind her, a strong, shaky temperament. She made out it was a manly voice. Every word was uttered slowly, full of awe and fear.
"Stop this. Your father is dead."
The words hit her like banging bells. It just could not be. No one could kill her impossible father. She felt the astonishment change efficiently into rage. A fierce rage. A power.
"My Dad can't die! You are lying!" She shouted.
They did not reply.
"Why don't you answer! You are lying right? Why did you bring me here?! I want to go back home! Dad must be worried!" She shouted harder.
"Say something! Why are you afraid?"
Then someone screamed. The scream was as if it came out of tight, closed teeth, the voice banging strongly in the air.
She felt the hair on the back of her neck stand up straight as the scream evolved into words. She heard every word ever so keenly, as if imprinting it on her soul.
Because the voice was someone's who she knew just so perfectly.
"Scarlet Hamilton. I killed your father. Yeah, I did it. Don't you think he deserved it? He was nothing but merely a bloody murderer. You Dad took away my Dad, didn't he? Well, I did the same to you! Tell me, how does it feel? You feel broken, don't you? Well, I felt it too! And you know what? I want revenge from you. I haven't been through half of it yet. Just tell that soul of yours to suit itself."
Zachary Hastings. Her Zac. The Zac she had spent the last seven years of her life with. The Zac who had given her everything. Then, the Zac who's Dad her father had killed. The Zac she never met after that. The Zac who killed her father. The Zac who kidnapped her.
Still, her Zac.
She wanted to answer him. She wanted to tell him she was sorry. She wanted to say just too much. She wanted to tell him he did the right thing. She wanted to tell him her Dad really deserved it. She wanted to tell him she didn't feel sorry for her Dad at all. She wanted to let him know she wanted him back.
But could she? She wanted to see him.
"Zac. I missed you." She managed.
