Pretty Little Survivors

The knob turned and the door swung open, revealing a head of familiar curls, the same old Jazail.
"Oh my, Glory, you are back!"
Glory smiled at her friend's shock. Yeah, she was back. Back alright.
Jazail took her in a tight hug and let go of her after what seemed like days, but of course they couldn't be, it was the same old street, the same hour, the same people around, just 5 minutes ahead of time.

"Come on, Jaze, at least let her go inside, it is already quite late and she is not secure out here, they must be looking for her."

The reality once again dawned upon her, she was not free, not even a freed prisoner, but a prisoner in hide. Is that what life would be? Again, she had never even done anything wrong. It was Zac who did it ... but she possibly could not put out all the blame on him, could she? If only someone understood.

Zac shoved Glory inside the house, trying his best to maintain his politeness.
He felt bad, of course.
Once inside, Zac heard her old Glory breathe deeply, the exact breathe we see on the Television when people are exhausted. Glory was really sick. She needed immediate medication service, and they obviously could not take her to some hospital or even a clinic, the posters must already be out. If anything ... maybe arrangements for some private doctor could be made? The idea seemed fit, however, the only contradiction was the fact where to find a trustable doctor.

"Is Scar still here?"
Zac blinked. He was trying his best to ignore any question about Scarlet, and here was it, Glory was looking straight into his eye, a beam of expectation dancing in it.

He shook his head.
Scarlet was long gone. She went away two months after Glory went to prison, claiming she could not live with her father's murderer. They were all obviously shocked at the sudden change, but they, out of shame, could not resist.
Of course it was all her drama to get out safe.

Zac looked again at Glory, searching for that beam in the eye he had just seen, but no, it was gone, gone somewhere in curiosity to why Scarlet left.
"It was no big deal Glo, you need not worry."
Glory nodded.
Good girl, he thought, dear good girl.

"So, where are the others?" She inquired.
"Ashley, Cal and Ian went to meet Ethan."
Glory raised a brow. "Ethan?"
"Yeah, your bother Ethan. He is in California."
"California? Why?"
"Your family shifted there, you know, after you Foster Dad's death and all the media attention."
"Oh. I see."
Zac nodded in response. "Want some drink?"
Glory pursed her lip. "Oh yeah, I definitely won't reject this pleasureful offer."
Zac chuckled. "Cool. What will you like?" He ran towards the side table, a mile a minute, took in hand a notebook, ran back to Glory, and bowed.
"Ma'am. What will you like? Our order list goes like; Soda Lime, Coca Cola, Beer, Mint Margarita, light sweet German Reisling or coffee?"
Zac smirked as Glory broke in a fit of uncontrollable laughter.
"Mint Margarita it is!"
"Oh great, nice choice madam!"
The two laughed again.

Too good for two to be together again.
