A long way to the NYC - PD
"You are Under- Arrest."
The words banged in her ears.
Th two of them headed forward, their looks on her hands. Glory wanted to run away. Away from them. Away from everyone.
But deep in some little black hollow in her heart was a feeling of mere urge. The urge to let them. To let them lock her behind bars, with all those rough, vicious, boisterous prisoners. Let her live all her life solely wishing for independence. It would serve her right.
But right in her senses, things were different. How did they know? Who told them? Were Zac and the others in the police station too? Were they okay? Will they get a good lawyer who would get them out?
"Uh." She hesitated as they cuffed her hands with huge iron shackles.
She reluctantly followed them to the Police BMW.
"Where are you taking me?" She tried.
The older cop, who sat beside the driver seat, turned his head back and smirked at her. "What do you expect, young criminal?"
"I'm not a criminal!" She defended. She had to act it, didn't she? But through her words, she surely could feel her teeth stuttering.
"Oh really? We never had a suspect win. Don't play the fool with us, girl."
Glory closed her eyes. He was right. What was she? A criminal alright.

"Get out, girl!"
She snapped her eyes open, daylight beaming into her eyes. Where was she?
She faced the familiar man in a blue shirt staring at her. It took her a moment to realize the shirt was more a uniform, and the man was more of a cop. And she was lying in a black BMW with a PD sticker on the front screen. And the car was parked in the curb around the New York Police Department Station.
Then it hit her.
She was going to jail.
"Get out at once!" The second officer glared.
She weakly managed her weedy legs to lethargically carry her out of the car. She ignored the cops and turned to face the street outside.
Two boys skated down the ally. A girl sat next to a little chihuahua, enjoying a delicious scoop of strawberry ice cream. A family parked their blue Subaru WRX outside Rolf's. A newly married couple walked happily with their new born baby. A young man presented a yellow rose to a petite red - haired girl.
Maybe she wouldn't ever be able to live like a normal mortal ever again. Maybe life was already over for her.
The two men almost dragged her into the department. Like, they weren't sure if she did it...or were they?
Once inside the building, she rapidly moved her eyes here and there in order to find the others. If they caught her, they would have caught them too, right?
But her looks came back disappointed to herself. There was no sign of any Zac, any Ashley, any Jazail, or Ian or Callum. She wanted to ask the cops if they were here too, but she didn't want o get them into any trouble.
Maybe they were inside one of the many rooms all over the building?
"Wait here. And give us your phone and anything else."
Oh God. She was just planning to call the others and ask if they were safe. No chance now anyways. She tucked out her phone and handed it to the cop. He smirked again and mouthed young criminal again, and paddled away. What a jerk.
She looked around. The waiting area was full. Glory couldn't help but smirk at the fact that how offensive a state New York was. No wonder the PD was as professional as it is. But, would they let her go?
"Hey."
Shocked at the suddenness, Glory almost yelped.
She turned around to find a fat, blue haired girl sitting beside her. Her face had bad acne and her hair well in frizzy curls around her huge tan face.
"Oops, didn't mean to pop out your eyes." She said, chewing a sticky - pink chewing gum. Her teeth had braces and they were full of cavity.
If she really had to stay with such people in prison, she better work her lying way out.
