MAIA MAY PARKER WAS SPIDER-MAN'S SUCCESSOR WHO MADE EVERYONE BELIEVE SPIDER-MAN WAS STILL ALIVE. She was surprised no one had found out the truth.

SUMMARY
In every reality, Peter Parker was an idiot who decided housing a radioactive spider was a good idea. You all know that story, that superhero, the kid who became an idol, a sensation, but what if it wasn't just Peter Parker who got bitten?

Maia Parker, fourteen, two years younger than Peter, was also bitten. That's how this story goes. Instead of waiting, Peter became Spider-man fairly quickly, the hero the city adored.

Maia helped as well, but she wasn't seen as a hero.

A year or two later, Peter Parker would die in Maia Parker's arms in the rain from a fatal bullet shot to the chest.

No one would know it was Spider-man who died that night.

They all thought Spider-man was who stopped that man, when in reality it was Maia Parker.

That's how this story goes.

Peter dies, Spider-man lives.

Yet, on the three year anniversary of his death, Maia Parker, age now seventeen, finds herself in a completely different world where Peter Parker revealed his identity and somehow brought several people from different realities there.
