Lapis placed her hands on my shoulders and slightly pulled me closer. My blush spread quickly across my cheeks and down to my neck. I felt Lapis' face begin to heat up as well, and I could tell she was blushing too. I could feel Lapis' lips begin to part, and my heart beat a little faster. I did my best to follow, and I soon felt her tongue swiftly slide into my mouth. My free hand then raised up to Lapis' other cheek, and I was now cupping both of her cheeks.

My tongue soon slowly exited my mouth, and entered hers. I explored her mouth, and pressed against the roof of it. The cop lowly hummed as her hands released my shoulders, and slid down to under my arms. I separated from her once again, and she looked quite confused for a second time - only much more dazed. I groaned a little as I climbed over the armrest compartment, and I heard a quiet giggle from Lapis. Once I arrived at her side, I straddled her, raising my hands to cup her face once again.

Lapis quickly leaned forward, crashing her lips back into mine. Her hands placed down on my hips, and I shivered. I leaned back a little, slipping my tongue back into her mouth to resume what we had started. My legs closed tighter around Lapis' waist, and I huffed through my nose. Lapis leaned a bit more forward and I continued to lean bac-BEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPP!! I nearly screeched in terror as my eyes shot back open.

Lapis looked clearly startled as well, and looked over my shoulder. I looked behind me, realizing that I had leaned back against the steering wheel, unintentionally laying on the horn. I heard Lazuli suddenly snort, and I cocked my head quickly to look back at her. She started laughing, and my face heated up to over 100 degrees. I pursed my lips and squinted my eyes, feeling a bit embarrassed as she continued to laugh loudly.

Once her laughing died down, she took a few breaths before staring at me with a smile. "Klutz." she muttered, placing her hands back onto my hips. "Shut the fuck up." I grumbled, before moving forward and kissing her again quickly. She immediately obliged and kissed back. We proceeded to make out again, and my hands trailed from her shoulders to her collarbone. I further pressed my body against hers, and she groaned through the kiss in response. Lapis' hands then roamed my back, and a chill shot up and down my spine.

I slid my hands back up the back of her neck, and I soon ran my fingers through her soft hair. I felt her exhale through her nose - and it was shaky. I sensed she was getting a little hot and bothered by this, and I couldn't help but smirk through the kiss. My tongue retreated from her mouth, and I lightly kissed her bottom lip. I peppered kisses from her jaw, down to her neck. I felt her hands slide down my back for a moment, only to slip into the back of my sweatshirt.

I planted a kiss on a certain spot on her neck, and opened my mouth to slightly nibble on it. My mouth opened wider, and I bit down harder, earning a small gasp from Lapis. I started to gently suck on the skin with heavy intentions of leaving a mark. Her cold hands slid higher and higher up my bare back underneath my shirt, and I trembled a little. I grew a bit needier, and before I could stop myself, my hands had already dropped back down to Lapis' chest. My fingers fumbled with the buttons of Lapis' uniform shirt, and I felt a surge of adrenaline shoot through my system.

I began to unbutton her shirt as I slowly leaned away from the hickey I had just left. Lapis did nothing to protest, and her hands remained placed on my back. I had undone two of her buttons before I heard a deep voice from outside. I halted for a moment, raising my head a little. "You heard that too?" Lapis whispered, and I nodded slowly. The voice became more and more familiar the closer it got, and an uneasy feeling settled in the pit of my stomach.

"PERIDOOOTTT!!!" I finally heard the voice shout, and my stomach dropped. Jasper. I immediately dropped down to the floor of the car, beside the gas pedal and brake. I curled up into a ball, and whispered loudly. "Fuckfuckfuck." I whisper-shouted, and Lapis looked down at my in concern. "Who's that? What's wrong? She gonna hurt you or something?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. I wanted to explain everything, but a small squeak was all that came out.

"I-I um, m-maybe. Sh-she's just not exactly too happy w-with me at the moment..." I stuttered nervously. "How did she find you here?" Laz asked, buttoning her shirt back up as she eyed Jasper through the windshield. "I don't know!" I replied. How did she find me here?! "Should I say something?" she suddenly asked, and I gasped. "N-NO!! DON'T!!" I whisper-shouted, shaking my head. I shrunk back a little more, making sure I was out of Jasper's sight.

A rough knock on the window scared the living shit out of me, and I curled up tighter. Jasper had knocked on the window, and Lapis calmly looked over at her. "Stay put." she told me, and I gritted my teeth anxiously. NO DON'T PLEASE. Lapis then signaled for Jasper to step away from the car, and the large woman hesitantly agreed to. Lapis exited the car, barely opening the car door and simply slipping through.

She closed the door, and I strained my ears to listen.

"Can I help you, ma'am?"

"Yeah, actually you can, officer. Do you know a chick named Peridot around here?"

"Who's asking?"

"Just wondering. Have you seen her or not?"

Silence.

I felt my heart nearly pound out of my chest, and I involuntarily whimpered quietly.

"I'm afraid not, miss." Lapis finally replied.

"You sure? Short blond hair? Glasses? 'Bout this tall?"
"I'm positive. Any particular reason you're so eager to find this girl?"

"Um... no no, not really. Just... curious is all. I must have the wrong officer."

"Alright, well you have a goodnight, ma'am."

"Uh, yeah you too. Whatever."

Heavy footsteps became quieter, and soon inaudible. Lapis then opened the car door back up, and I looked up at her. She hopped back into her seat, closing the door. I peeked my head up, looking out the window. Jasper wasn't in sight, so I climbed back up. I rolled over the armrest compartment, falling back into the passenger seat. "Who was she? Why is she so angry with you?" the cop asked. "We just got in a little fight, that's all. She's just a friend of mine." I explained, twiddling my thumbs.

"Well, don't be getting yourself into too much trouble, Peridot. People like that are bad news." she replied quietly. I'm one of those people. "Hehe, yeahhhh..." I murmured. "Anywho, we better get you back home. I got my shift starting soon anyways." she claimed, taking her keys and starting the car. I felt a little bummed out that our moment had been cut short, but I only nodded in response.
