A few days later~

Akari was with Kyouya, Usui and Haruka at Don't mi know Pizza. Enjoying their own prespective meals.

"my gawd, this pizza is so good~." Kyouya's eyes lit up with pure happiness taking another bite on the edge of the crust.

"I prefer getting Pizza Pat than Don't Mi Know to be honest." Haruka ate the tip of the pizza.

"Papa owo's Pizza is better." Usui slurped on his coke then putting it down on the table.

"Akari, I'm surprised you get a salad instead." Kyouya looked at her plate.

"I'm trying to get myself into a diet." Akari played around her salad with a fork.

"Honestly you look perfectly fine." Kyouya took another slice of pizza and starts chewing on it.

"You need to eat more in my opinion." Usui mentioned politely trying not to offend her, the last time he was trying to tell one of his female friend, He got slapped in the face.

"No it's fine, plus I don't think you even like that salad."

"Take a slice of Pizza."

"I guess.." Akari chuckled lightly then took the slice and bite it a little. "And here I thought Don't Mi know is bad but it's good.."

"Of course it is." Kyouya simply said looking at the hungry girl who's eating her pizza like she hasn't been eating for a week.

After everyone finished their food they stood up to leave the restaurant going back to Card Capital 2. Just as Akari, Kyouya, Haruka and Usui was about to enter C2, there was a letter on the doormat saying 'To: Akari".

"that's weird.." Usui commented.

"More likely creepy" Kyouya added to Usui's comment.

(OPENING HERE)

Akari opened the envelope taking out the folded paper reading the note out loud. "Do you want to see your friend again? She's likely dead if you don't see me at the alleyway near school. Sign -M"

"Kizari? Dead? What?" Akari said confused on what the letter is trying to say.

"It's probably a prank." Haruka peaked at the letter observing the words.

"I'm not so sure.." Akari grip the letter. "M.. who do you guys think it is?"

Kyouya shrugged his shoulders. "It could be anyone."

"Hmm.. M.. do you know anyone that starts with the letter M?" Usui looked at Akari.

"well, I don't have any friend that name starts with M."

"I still think it's some sort of prank." Haruka sip her unfinished coke from don't mi know.

"M.. OH!!" Kyouya snapped his fingers. "Remember that red haired guy who burn Akari's deck?"

"Uhh.. macaroni..?" Haruka trailed off her words.

"Really? I thought it was Masa something." Usui raised a brow.

"Masaru.." Kyouya facepalmed looking at the two blonde heads who messed up his name.

"Question is, is Masaru my friend we only met like once additionally he burned my deck." Akari crossed her arms with her unamused expression.

"That.. makes sense but it doesn't matter now." Kyouya shook his head.

"Why do you sound so desperate about going after him?" Haruka looked at Kyouya suspiciously putting her hand on her chin.

"Because, don't you think this is all getting a bit weird?"

"What do you mean weird?"

"Think about it, Lucine's been missing for days now, no sign of Kizari nor Yato either and the air just feels off. Then you being suspicious of me out of all people"

"That all can be explained, Lucine might just went somewhere, not meeting Kizari and Yato is pure coincidence, and lastly it just.." Haruka sighed with a facepalm, she was lost in words about describing it.

"Lucine would've told us if she's missing school wouldn't she?" Usui backed Kyouya. "Kizari and Yato goes to the same school as Akari."

"How do you know?"

"one of my friend goes to Harumi, he's in the same class with Yato."

"As for Kizari, she hasn't show up either to classes." Akari muttered silently.

"My point exactly." Kyouya smirked, looking at the cornered Haruka.

"Ugh fine, we'll check it out." Haruka rolled her eyes with a sigh.

"Alright let's go~!" Kyouya fist bump the air.

Haruka, Usui, Kyouya and Akari head down to the alleyway leading to a silver metal door.

"This is the place?" Akari looked up the door placing her hand on the metal door pushing it slightly.

"I guess so." Usui peak inside, it was pitch black he could barely see anything. Once Akari completely open the door it was a bit brighter.

"Seems no ones here." Kyouya observe the room filled with boxes that were collecting boxes.

"I told you we shouldn't have come here." Haruka sigh rolling her eyes turning around to see the male who invited them here in the first place.

"Surprise surprise~" Masaru grinned pushing the four into the room and slam the door close.

"HEY WHAT THE FUCK?!" Kyouya repeatedly hit the door after awhile his left hand caressing his right. "Damnit, there's no way ou-"

"HAAAAAAAA!!!!" Haruka kick the door. "OW!" She screamed holding her foot.

Akari and Usui tried pushing the door, but there was no use.

"Well done Masa-chan~." Someone muttered giggling evily and wheezed, talking on the earpiece.

"Yeah sure." Masaru was leaning on the door crossing his arms.

"Now for the others to do the rest."

"We're stuck here forever." Kyouya deadpanned currently sitting on one of the wooden boxes.

"I don't really think so." Haruka muttered looking at around. "Find some items that can be used for defense. It'll help if things get violent."

"Good idea." Akari muttered and started scattering for anything that can be handy.

"Should I be worried finding this?" Usui picked up an old handgun on the floor checking inside of it. "It's loaded."

After scattering around the place hunting for items. Kyouya got a half broken bat and Akari got glass shards.

"Glass shards? Really?" Haruka looked at Akari raising a brow.

"I couldn't find anything better, so these will have to do." Akari put them inside of her jacket pocket.

"Fair enough, remember this is only for self defense."

"...Right."

"Masaru have they arrive yet? I can't be bothered to wait any longer." The white haired boy came out finding Masaru but when he found the four his eyes squinted. "Nevermind..."

"So you four finally came." He looked at them awkwardly taking a few steps back before running away quickly.

"Oh hell no you don't!" Kyouya rushed after Yato followed by Haruka. While Usui and Akari look at each other before running after them.

Yato made into a so-called dead end. "They're all yours." He talked to the female -who talked at the earpiece with Masaru- before opening the camoflauge trap door.

She just simply nodded as Yato close the trap door shut.

"Bastard! Where are you!?" Kyouya yelled stopping his tracks along with Haruka seeing the female, Lucine.

"What are you doing here?" Kyouya asked cluelessly.

"Is that actually her? I thought she has blue eyes.." Akari thought keeping silent observing her eyes.

She stood there in silence before her now yellow cat-like eyes glowed. "Kill." Lucine muttered pulling out a black rifle with a brown streak and a small pistol aiming the rifle at Akari and the other at Kyouya.

"TAKE COVER!" Usui yelled taking cover at a box requiring him to sit down as they heard fired shots. Akari flinched and hid behind a taller box as Kyouya dodge the bullet rolling to the side to where Akari was hiding. As for Haruka she turn over a fight table using it as a shield.

"YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CAN'T HIDE~!" She laughed maniacally shooting at the boxes and table mercilessly, but each shot brought no avail to destroying the table. However it penetrates the boxes making a hole at the first side of it.

Akari knew it would penetrate a second time that's why she pushed Kyouya towards Haruka taking the hit on her left arm. It only left a scratch since Lucine missed.

Meanwhile Usui slowly crawl to where Haruka and Kyouya were.

Akari held her left arm as the red blood gush out. When another bullet was shot, Kyouya's eye squint as he grabed her left hand pulling her behind the table.

"Ouch.. but thanks.." Akari wheezed still holding her left arm.

"It's nothing.." Kyouya sighed in relief.

"Lucine stop this! You've gone insane!" Akari peaked her head from the side of the table before hidding again.

"And why? All of this was your doing! If Akari didn't have took the deck from the ground none of this would've happened! Look at what's going on now!" Lucine barked. "You don't even know what Shibaru is capable of! It's a forbidden clan that should have never been played!"

"Fuck's sake, the deck is burnt already!"

"Thank you for telling captain obvious!"

"Then what more do you want?!" Akari yelled out.

She just smiled before shooting another bullet to the table. "To finally be free."

"Free? What do you mean?"

"I don't remember anything." She mumbled under her breath. "But he told me if you're dead.. It'll all end." She slowly lowered her gun and sighed.

Akari took a deep breath and put on a brave face before standing up pointing to Lucine with her index finger.

"I challenge you, this journey starts with a cardfight and will end with one. What do you say?" She cracked up a small smirk at her face.

"How confident, but fine, if I win you know what happens." Lucine put down her rifle and pistol taking out her FICA.

Akari set up the table helped by Kyouya, Haruka and Usui.

"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Kyouya whispered.

"I don't even know what I was spitting out..." Akari bit her bottom lip nervously. "She said something about being free.. have any idea on what she meant?"

"Not really, what did her brother even do to her?" Haruka quietly said a rhetorical question.

"....siscon." Usui said simply.

And with that the three froze expressing a cold sweat face.

"Are you done yet?" Lucine impatiently tapped her foot.

"Uh yeah I guess. There's a hole in the table though.." Akari turned to her placing her starting vanguard drawing five cards reshuffling two and drew again.

"It won't effect the cardfight would it? I don't really care." Lucine replied putting her vanguard starter face down drawing five cards of the top of her deck as well.

"Stand Up Vanguard!" The two girls turn their starter face up.

"Happiness Collector! (5000)" Lucine said simply.

"Dragwizard, Vicreau! (5000)" Akari declared.

At the surface of the planet Cray two units represent Vicreau and Happiness Collector respectively Akari and Lucine.

Happiness Collector transformed into Moonlight Melody Tamer, Betty while Vicreau turned into Daellad. She threw her spear torwards Betty, stabbing her, before turning into a chimera with aerobic tricks, Flying Peryton. Appearing along with him was a trapezist with twin tails on a trapeze swing, Dancing Princess of the Nightsky.

Firstly Nightsky swang at Daellad sending a kick on the head, followed by Peryton who flew at Daellad with a kick to the stomach. Daellad got thrown back against a wall panting as she turned into a thin lizard-like dragon, Slaptail Dragon. Beside Slaptail was an elf with a dragon arm. He perform magic to attack the deer-pegasus hybrid, but it was stopped by Dancing Princess of the Nightsky who then disappeared to bright violet glitter.

Slaptail scowled at Peryton as it charged at him slapping its tail at Peryton's face.

Peryton then flew back but he  stopped himself with his hooves. He started flapping his wings as he turned into a white haired boy with a magician hat, it was none other than. Masked Phantom, Harri.

He charged in hitting Slaptail Dragon with his staff causing the dragon to whimper earning Harri a small smug. However once he spot a red glowing light Harri's face became pale. When Slaptail turned into an elf with two dragon arms, Dragphantom Luard. When he was about to blast Harri with his dragon arm he realized that it was only a stick and a magician hat to make it look like it was Harri, but the real one was running away.

With that Luard raged turning into a dragon from the depths of the abyss, Dragabyss Luard.

"Things aren't looking good.." Usui sighed.

"Why?" Kyouya blinked in confusion.

"She can't activate Luard's GB3, idiot." Haruka facepalmed on Kyouya's lack of knowledge despite the fact she already explained yesterday.

"Oh.. makes much more sense.." Kyouya trailed off.

A few turn soon pass, both fighters are at 5 damage, Akari has 4 cards while Lucine has 6.

"Stand and draw, Generation Stride! Once more come out from the dark abyss! Dragabyss Luard! (26000) stride skill, counterblast, calling Fuamnach (7000) since it has the ritual ability I'll draw a card. Luard's GB3! Ritual X! I have 12 cards so that's 30000! To the whole front row! (39000) (56000) (39000) Fuamnach's ritual! (7000 > 14000) starting off with Morfessa boosted by Fuamnach! Morfessa's ritual! Add 5000 (58000)"

"Double Generation Guard! Kinesis Megatrick Coulthard! Chainsaw Megatrick, Furnival! (26000) Coulthard's skill since I have different grades in the soul add 15000 (41000) Furnival's skill check top 3 and put Miss Direction to the soul, add 5000 to the shield! (61000)"

"Dragabyss Luard attacks! (56000)"

Lucine looked at her hand and tremble, she only had another Harri and a stride fodder. "I can't guard.."

"Triple drive (Dragfencer Dagda. Dragwizard Morfessa. Belial Owl) a critical giving it all to Luard (61000/2 ★) Shadow Veil!"

"How could this happen.." Lucine muttered looking at her sixth card in her damage zone which was Flying Peryton, eyes squinting, palms sweating and her body shivered lightly.

Rentaro saw their fight from his little sister's eyes, knowing she lost, he started to panic. "No.. fuck fuck fuck..!" He cursed punching the wall repeatedly. Rentaro had enough, deciding the best course of action is to use his remainding powers from his NEO PSY Qualia and ordered.

"DO IT! JUST GRAB THE GUN AND SHOOT DAMMIT!" He yelled, she could hear his voice through her own PSY Qualia grabbing her loaded pistol from the ground aiming at Akari.

"Die.. JUST DIE ALREADY!" She cried out bursting into tears. As she was about to pull the trigger. She felt something on her chest, passing right through it.

It was Akari who shot her, after Usui lend her the gun when Lucine was yelling out her cries.

Her hand with the pistol trembled, looking down she soon found a cascade of blood flowing down to her stomach and the ground. That made Rentaro froze in shock at the sight.

Lucine just laughed sadly. "Fucking hell..." She looked at her with her yellow transitioning to blue eyes as Lucine dropped down to the floor simultaneously the pistol in her hand.

Akari run up to her covering her mouth after what she had done.

"Is she still breathing?!" Haruka said panicking looking at the shotted girl.

"I feel a light pulse." Usui had his two fingers on her wrist.

"We should call an ambulance." Kyouya took out his phone trying to find service. "Dammit nothing at all."

"But why.." Lucine manage to say under her breath.

"It's for your own good." Akari mumbled bitterly.

"How cold.." Lucine cackled getting pale. "Rentaro.. I'm sorry but not sorry.."

"What does this Rentaro guy wants from us!? And most importantly who is he?" Haruka retorted.

"Heh.. You'll just have to find out.. my time's up here.."

Akari looked away hiding her sobs, even if she was evil, she was her friend.

Haruka sighed in grief and patted Akari's back. "I can tell you didn't mean it, it's going to be fine.. we just need to find this Rentaro guy and it'll all be over alright?"

Akari sniffled looking at Haruka. "C'mon.. let's find him." She walked followed by Kyouya, Haruka and Usui off to find the man who started it all.
