"I need to get away, fast!" Ayaza thought as he ran down the streets of the town. "It was a mistake going back to the park..." He shook his head, before his shoulder was grasped by someone. "...!"
"I finally caught up to you." Yza smirked. Red marks slowly appeared under his eyes, and his surrounding aura was dark. Very, dark.
"Well, I guess this was kind of bound to happen..." Ayaza grit his teeth. "Sorry Ayato..."
"Well, let's get this fight on." Yza grinned in a twisted manner at Ayaza. Rukia was walking to catch up to the two.
"I-I'll break you from your curse!" Ayaza declared nervously.

"Stand up, (the!) Vanguard!" Yza and Ayaza declared together.
"Hardrod Dracokid!" Ayaza shouted.
"Starting Star Dragon." Yza grinned.
"A new starter...? Alright then..." Ayaza took a deep breath.
"I'll start us off. Stand and draw. I ride, Kasey, move Starting Star back and call Tricky Stardealer. His skill, retire a himself and draw. End."

"Stand and draw." Yza looked at his hand. Rukia shuffled around to stand behind him. "..."
"C'mon... you gonna ride or what?"
Yza, with a lifeless face looked at Ayaza. Long, red streaks appeared under his eyes.
"The deathly cosmos. The forbidden milky-way. The lifeless stars. Turn reality... into a story. And have the story, become a reality. Ride, the avatar. Shooting Star Dragon "Яeverse"."

Flying into the desolate land of the Narukami, a large, black armoured dragon with scales of grey swooped into the land. Sliding onto the dusty dirt smoothly, it's massive feet dug deep into the land, and it's massive 30 centimetre wingspan was revealed. Black rings with red auras were around his neck, shoulders, wrists and ankles, and a massive black mask resembling a sleek bomber jet dawned on the head of the dragon, with a slit where the eyes would be. A gentle red shone through the visor. Straightening it's black, the belly of the beast was a depressive cream colour, following the grey and black colour scheme the dragon was given. With long limbs, the dragon thrusted his right arm, and with claws, thin and long, he screeched at the opposing dragon, which was minuscule compared to this one. Yes, towering above even the grey clouds, was none other than Shooting Star Dragon "Яeverse", whose simple presence defied the physics of the land, and made the clouds shake in fear whilst they cried with rain, and the dirt on the ground was crushed under the massive dragon.

"...that's one scary looking dragon..." Ayaza laughed half-heartedly. "Those damn red marks..."
"Call Stardust Angel. Shooting Star Dragon "Яeverse", attack the vanguard... Angel's skill, to soul and draw. (11000 > 16000 > 21000)"
"No guard!"
"Twin Drive check... (Ferocious Scout, Starbau, Tricky Stardealer) Draw trigger. Draw one card."
"Damage check! (Meditate Dracokid) Crap, I cant Heal, can I?"
"Nope." Yza looked at his hand cards.

"Tch, get on with it."
"Liberating the Generation Zone! Sparks of the future, reconcile and burst in a never ending thunderstorm!" Ayaza slammed a card on the vanguard circle. "Generation Stride! Conquering Supreme Dragon, Dragonic Vanquisher "VBUSTER"! Now, I call Crownholder. VBUSTER's skill, soulblast one and G Persona Blast. Bind a card in your drop zone and one of your rear-guards!"
"Binding Starting Star and Serpent."
"Thunderstrike 4... My rear-guards Chatura, Crownholder and Red River get 3k! (11000 > 14000) (7000 > 10000) (8000 > 11000) Next, my vanguard attacks you! (26000 > 31000)"

"Once the black hole settles, what is left is a clearer world. This anti-hero, is a frowned upon necessity in this world! Stride the Generation, White Hole Dragon, Vortex Clarity Dragon "Яeverse"! Stride skill, soulblast one, and you flip a damage face down until end of turn."
"Forced flipping, huh..." Ayaza turned a card face down.
"Now, Vortex Clarity's skill. Counterblast, Soulblast, G Persona Blast. We both put a damage face down, and I retire a rear-guard for every face two down damage."
"Wait... is this face down damage permanent?"
"Yes."
Ayaza grit his teeth. "A Gredora like skill, huh."
"Back to the skill. We both have 2 face down damage, so I retire Crownholder and Hardrod."
"Done." Ayaza put them into the drop zone. "I can just recover these cards with Legion... what is Yza playing at?"
"Call, Kasey and Dustbau. Kasey becomes Enforced. Now, Clarity's GB3 Skill. For every face down damage card, all my units get 3000 power and he gets a Critical for every 2 face down damage. (9000 > 21000) (7000 > 19000) (26000 > 38000/1★ > 3★) Clarity, attack! (38000/3★)"
"Anastasia, perfect guard!" Ayaza put down a card into the guardian circle.
"Triple drive! (Shooting Star Shield, Dust Robo-warrior, Eclipse, Stardust Serpent)"

"Perfect! First, adding 3000 Power to all my remaining units! (9000 > 12000) (8000 > 11000) (26000 > 29000) Then, Thunderstrike Seven is online! My vanguard gets a crit and a drive, while my front row gets 5k! (12000 > 17000) (11000 > 16000) (29000 > 34000/1★ > 2★) Now, Plasmatron's Skill. Counterblast and he gets 14k! "Stand and draw. Shooting Star Dragon's Generation Break 2! I can pay the cost of Stride for Counterblasting one card with the Enforce ability!" Yza flipped a card face down. "Generation Zone, Яeverse! Spatial distortion, fatal collision, uninvited fate, fuse together into an infinite loop!" Grabbing a card from his G Zone, Yza placed a card on his vanguard circle, making it expand light blue with a mysterious red aura. "Stride the Generation-! Plane Dragon, Shooting Star Infinity "Яeverse"!"

Shooting Star Dragon "Яeverse" became enshrouded in a black mist of sorts, covering himself in a curtain of unknown miasma and lethal toxins. A heavy clanking of rock solid metal filled the ice cold air, and a smokes of hazy dust rose into the sky. Fumes of smoke emerged from the covering, and long, thin nails cut through the mist completely, while the eerie wind blew away the rest. Emerging from it, was an even bigger dragon. Towering in a massive twenty feet, his crooked neck and massive appendages pressured Dragonic Kaiser Crimson and his troops back.

His mask containing his face, alongside shards of crushed metal and destroyed armour laid on the ground, and Shooting Star Infinity "Яeverse" was stepping on the rubble with four legs, like how a human would step on a bug. Thirty centimetre wings expanded, and highlights of red against pitch black scales brought a "bloodthirsty" appearance to him. However, his head was the most striking feature. Oozing from his mouth was thin, runny blood, rather than watery saliva, and his tongue was coated in all dark, crimson red. Sharp, large, pearly white fangs were donned too, ready to crush through anything that needed to be eaten. Running down his cheeks were red lines, going from underneath blood red eyes and to down to his chin. From his nose were wisps of smoke, and spilling from the top of his head were massive horns, akin to a goat's, and the tip was stained in red.

"Stride skill, soulblast and flip a damage face down." Ayaza turned a card face down. "Call, Starknight of the First Battalion. Now, Infinity's Generation Break 3! Counterblast 1, G Persona Blast, and I discard a card. Since I have a "Яeverse" Vanguard Heart, I shuffle back from my deck 5 cards in my drop zone. Then, for each face down damage cards in our damage zones, I check cards equal to that number from the top of my deck and call it to a rear-guard circle. Since there is 5 face down damage, I look at the top five cards of my deck and call... Dustbau, Kasey, Stardust Angel and Eclipse. Since I called four cards, he gets 10k, Critical, an extra drive, and glory. (26000 > 36000/1★ > 2★) Next up, boosted by Angel, Dustbau! (9000 > 13000)"

"That's a four to pass... Quadruple Drive! (Blasting Starcat) Critical. Everything to the vanguard! (41000 > 46000/2★ > 3★) (Tricky Stardealer) Draw trigger. Everything to vanguard! (46000 > 51000/3★) (Stardust Serpent) Well then... I guess you've guarded it. (Shooting Star Dragon "Яeverse") Grrr..."
"Skill of Bulwark, retire Eclipse!" Ayaza commanded.
Yza moved the card into the drop zone. "Turn end." He grumbled.

"Remember these words! FINAL TURN." Ayaza growled. "Facing the adversity of the end, the roar of electrifying destruction can be the only salvation! THIS IS THE DRAGON KING'S DNA!" Raising a card high in the air, Ayaza smashed it down onto the vanguard circle, causing it to crackle and pop electric blue whilst it expanded, spinning rapidly. "Conquering Supreme Dragon, Dragonic Vanquisher "VMAX", Stride! Moving back Red River and calling Red River and Martial Arts. Thunderstrike 2, Martial Arts gets 3k! (9000 > 12000) Now, boosted by Red River, "VMAX" attacks your vanguard! (26000 > 34000) His skill, for each face up "Vanquisher" Stride, I also attack one of your rear-guards!"
"First, I'll let you hit Kasey and First Battalion. As for Dustbau... we'll see. For my vanguard, Generation Guard! Defensin Tamer, Shimada "Яeverse"! His skill, flip a G Guard face up and since I have three face down damage, he gets 10000 Shield! Then, if I have a "Яeverse" Vanguard add another 5000 Shield! (11000 >26000 > 36000 > 41000) Then for Dustbau, Generation Guard! Startemple Indulgence Miko, Kaori "Яeverse"! Since I have a "Яeverse" Vanguard, add 10000 Shield! "Alright then..." Ayaza smirked. "I only need one trigger... if I can get that, I win." He started his triple drive. (Force Wind Eradicator, Shiva, Dragonic Kaiser Crimson, Crownholder Dragon) Critical Trigger! All effects to Martial Arts! (12000 > 17000/1★ > 2★)"
"No matter now..." Yza moved his guardians.
"Yes.... yes it does! Boosted by Red River, Martial Arts! (17000 > 22000/2★)"
"..." Yza grit his teeth. "No... guard...." He flipped two cards face up. (Constellation Starknight, Pleiades, Shooting Star Tamer "Яeverse")"
"And that... is game." Ayaza grinned happily. Yza's eyes widened as a rush came to him. A scream was released from his mouth, and the red marks plaguing him the whole game were fading away. Cards with "Яeverse" in their card name were being coated in white, and slowly transformed back into their normal selves, all except Shooting Star Dragon, who turned into a different card. Dropping to his knees, Yza was sweating from head to toe, with a surprised and confused expression on his face. He was gasping for air.
"Yza... you're finally back..." Ayaza looked down at him, looking at his friend.
"Ayaza..."
Rukia looked at the two silently. Too silently.
