Kinjuzo cracked his knuckles as he narrowed his thin eyebrows. Anger spewed from his cold eyes as he stepped towards Rukia. "I'm not in the mood to play a stupid card game." He growled ferociously, as Rukia took a step back.
"Okay, you two are kicked out from this cafe right now!" One of the workers shouted at them. Kinjuzo and Rukia looked at the him and stormed out, as Kinjuzo stared straight into Rukia's eyes.
"What now?" Rukia asked in a mundane way. "What're you gonna do? Run away?"
"I'm not gonna run away from a bitch like you." Kinjuzo said as he wiped his mouth. With his teeth gritted tight, and angry expression fell over his face, as rage was consuming him.
"Like I said. What, now?" She asked in a more agitated tone. As the wind blew past them, a loud smack cut through the air, followed by a large electrocution noise. Kinjuzo's fist hit Rukia's palm, and her other hand pulled out a small black taser and shoved it in Kinjuzo's stomach, as he fell to the floor, the electricity surging throughout him and hurting him.
"You can die the same way Yza's dad did." She muttered coldly. "By electric." Rukia, towering over him lowered the the taser near Kinjuzo's head, as he narrowed his eyes and slapped away Rukia's hand, the taser slipping out and skidding to the side, it grating against the stone path.
"Who the fuck carries a taser around? Psycho bitch..." Kinjuzo muttered as he stood up and faced Rukia. "I suggest you stay still and don't try to retaliate. It could end up bad for you..." He threatened her, raising his fist for a punch.
"You aren't as strong as Yza, you know." Rukia said as she was dealt a cold blow to a face which gave no reaction for Kinjuzo. He looked confused at her. With her cheek reddened by the blow, Rukia grabbed his shirt and stared deep into Kinjuzo's eyes. "No. You're not as strong as him. You lack the resolve he has."
"Resolve?" Kinjuzo raised a brow as he pried her off his shirt. "What's your game plan?"
"I don't have one in particular. I just want to beat Yza in a Cardfight." Rukia said. "But, you can do, if you want to stop using violence in one, public, and two, against a girl."
"Oh fuck off with that gender shit." Kinjuzo glared. Rukia gave a giggle.
"I heard Kinjuzo was a calm and collected individual, but it seems I've struck a certain chord within you." Rukia smiled slyly. "So, I bet you want to see me fall and lose." She brought out her deck. "C'mon. Let's fight." Kinjuzo breathed in and out, recomposing himself. He knew that it wasn't like him to snap so easily, but Rukia twisted his gut and mind in was he didn't understand. He just didn't get how Yza could love someone he saw as a disgusting human being. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out his deck.
"Let's fight then." Kinjuzo said in a quiet but aggressive tone, slamming down his FiCa and it turning into a gameboard. "You're on."
"Glad to hear." She smiled back. However, this smile wasn't kind. No, it showed her confidence and pride, yet her eyes had a steely, piercing glare with a darkness covering them. She screamed an innocent danger, which couldn't be explain with words alone. "Maybe Yza can visit this fight." She spoke her mind.
"You're obsessed with him..." Kinjuzo shuffled his deck and drew five cards. "Now, we can start. Heads or tails?"
"Tails." Rukia said as she looked at her hand. She shuffled back two cards. Kinjuzo took out a penny from his pocket and flicked it into the air, as it casted a shadow over the two. It fell back to the ground with a steel thud and cleared the air of noise. As it spun down, the tails side of the coin was facing upwards.

Kinjuzo picked up the penny and shoved it into his pocket. "You're up first."
"Stand up the vanguard!" They both shouted in unison, flipping the face down card face up.
"Promising Knight, David!" Kinjuzo replied, the vanguard circle expanding purple.
"Dreaming Jewel Knight, Tiffany!" Rukia announced, the vanguard circle expanding pale blue. "Stand and draw. I ride, Cymbeline and move Tiffany back. I end." She said with little emotion.

"Hey, the game starts from turn 1. Doesn't start from stride. Might as well get as much damage in as possible..."
"I see. Gliding Eagle. (14000)"
"Grosne! (9000 > 14000)"
"No guard."
"Drive check! (Cursed Eye Raven) Perfect, stand! Power to Abyssal, and standing Morfessa! (7000 > 12000)"
"Damage check. (Blowing Jewel Knight, Altgaro)" Rukia looked at Kinjuzo with a pressuring look.

"Morfessa intercepts! (7000 > 12000)"
"Ashlei goes after him again! (11000 > 16000)"
"...alright then," Kinjuzo removed Abyssal Owl. "Go for it."
"Twin Drive. (Stinging Jewel Knight, Shellie, Jewel Knight, Swordmy) Nothing."
"Alright!" Kinjuzo cheered.

"Now, let's do this." Kinjuzo drew the top card of his deck. Showing Luard in front of his face, he started to speak. "Warrant them nothing but impeding sadness, despair and lack of a desire to live, even though they have broken down others for their own fun. I ride, the avatar, Dragheart, Luard." The card expanded a washed out grey. "Generation Zone, release! Reign supreme, as my soul is his sword, and your soul is his sin! CHOUETSU!" Kinjuzo picked up a card from his G-Zone and slammed it hard onto the Vanguard circle. "Supremacy Black Dragon, Aurageyser Doomed!" The vanguard circle expanded black.
"Aurageyser Doomed... Have fun." Rukia taunted. Kinjuzo grit his teeth angrily.
"I'll show you that then! Luard, counterblast and retire David! Superior call from deck, Swordbreaker and Belial Owl. Swordbreaker's skill, soulblast and draw a card. Call from hand, Naoise. His skill, Ritual 3. Checking top five cards of deck and calling Abyssal Owl. He gets 5k! (9000 > 14000) Then, Doomed's skill! Counterblast one and retire Abyssal, Belial and Swordbreaker, revealing the top two cards of my deck! (Dragwizard, Morfessa, Dragwizard, Babd) Grade 0. I retire Tiffany."
"Okay." Rukia removed Tiffany from her field.
"Belial Owl and Abyssal Owl. Countercharge and draw a card." Kinjuzo looked at his hand. "Naoise attacks! (14000)"
"Generation Guard! Holy Dragon, Laserguard Dragon! (26000)"
"Alright, Doomed goes after you next! (26000)"
"No guard!" Rukia smirked.
Kinjuzo reached for his deck as Yza started to speak.
"Ju... Is that Rukia?!"
"...no, Yza! Stay in... Let me handle this... She hurt you."
"BUT I LOVE HER."
"Are you blind and stupid?! She hurt you. She doesn't love you. That was all a ploy to break yo...." Kinjuzo flipped three cards as he realised what happened. It was a plot to get rid of a threat, which was Yza. Knowing he couldn't be useful right now due to his current mental state, Kinjuzo decided to stay in the vessel for longer. (Dragheart, Luard, Knight of Brawn, Grosne, Black-winged Swordbreaker)
"I'm neither... Even though she might not love me... That could be the Яeverse talking..."
"You're the backseat driver right now, so shut up!" Kinjuzo finally snapped at Yza, getting irritated by his call for Rukia.
"What's next?" Rukia asked impatiently.
"...." Kinjuzo stayed silent, picking up the cards and shaking. His internal battle was conflicting his external as he tried to balance the two.
"J-ju...?"
"...s-sorry Yza... I... I didn't mean to snap... I'm just... Tired of seeing you be beaten to the ground."
"......Ju, please let me see Rukia. One last time... I want to see her stunning face and her wonderful smile..."
"...How long have you been drowning yourself in emotions?"
"What?"
"Emotions. How long have you been drowning yourself in them? How long has it been before you could talk to someone about the side of yourself that you're ashamed of?"
"...I... Don't know." Yza replied in a bitter fashion.
"I'll let you talk to Rukia for five minutes. That's all."
"Thank you, Ju..."
"I end." Kinjuzo announced before Yza came back to reality.

"R-Rukia..." Yza said timidly as he approached cautiously. Rukia drew the top card of her deck before noticing the change in tone.
".....Yza?" She raised a brow.
"Yes... It's me Rukia!" Yza said, ecstatic that she remembered him. "I've missed you so much..."
"So, Kinjuzo finally let you out." She chuckled slightly.
"Yeah... I just want to tell you, that whatever the hell Backlion did to you, I'll make him pay for it! I know the real you!" Yza declared. "And this isn't the real you!" Rukia's face became stone cold.
"...this is the real me, Yza." Rukia mumbled. "I was always like this. I put on an act for you, you see." She admitted to it, her tone shifting from cold and taunting into quiet. Yza's world shattered hearing this.
"W-what... are you on about....?" He said in disbelief. "Y-you're not like this..... Not at all..... I know the real Rukia...... And she isn't... she isn't like this!!" Yza voice started to shake as he held on his cards tightly.
"Yza." Rukia said, her eyes diverting from him and looking at the ground embarrassingly. "I wouldn't be lying if I said you'd charmed me... Or rather, I'm still in love with you. Being honest, these feelings for you... Still are there. After all this time." She whispered almost, a quiet secret being truthfully told. Yza's eyes stung with warm tears.
"You still love me..." Wiping his spilling tears, he smiled slightly. "That's all I needed to hear..." Yza smiled fully, happy that his love was still caring for him, even if she was in this state. He breathed in and out, before announcing loudly, "I'll do anything for you! I want to be by your side... Even if I have to sacrifice myself!" He shouted passionately for Rukia. He grit his teeth, body still shaking. His heart was pounding.
"So you'd join the Яeverse for me?" Rukia asked quietly.
"Yes I would... If that meant I could be with you!! You're the only thing that matters to me Rukia... You are my world."
Going dark red, Rukia looked at Yza in the eye. "I have an idea..."
"What is it?" Yza asked.
"Take control of your body before Kinjuzo beats me. I'll then get you to six damage... and Яeverse you. To me... Backlion is just a leader. To me... You're like a king." She said, looking at him with soft eyes. "We could be the King and Queen of Яeverse. Together." Her hand held out to his. Yza's eyes widened, as he held out for her hand too without thinking about it.
"Am I willing to go through with this...?" Yza thought as his mind went blank as it concentrated on Rukia's cute face and her hand holding out. His shaking hand grasped hers, as she squeezed his hand and ran her fingers along his knuckles intimately. Tears filled her eyes as Rukia felt his shaking, cold hands.
"I guess I really did miss you, Yza..." She said.
"...I'll do it..." Yza mumbled in a blank expression. "I said I'd sacrifice myself to be with you... And if that means sacrificing what I stand for... Then so be it. You're the first person to make me feel like this Rukia... I love you..." He said, as the couple were both crying as their hands were interlocked. Yza's five minute chat was up. Kinjuzo stormed and took over, before snatching away his hand from Rukia.
"I don't know why your crying or holding my hand, but you better continue your turn, hag." Kinjuzo said fiercely, wiping Yza's tears away. "Oh look, you made him cry again..." He said angrily with gritted teeth. Rukia wiped her tears as her expression went back to stone cold.
"Generation Zone, Release. Aerial Divine Knight, Altmile, stride... Altmile's skill. G Persona Blast and he gets a new skill, where my front row units get 3000 power. Then, I'll search my deck for Altgaro, call and he gets 5000. (9000 > 14000 > 17000) (26000 > 29000) (7000 > 10000) Call, Cymbeline. His skill, rest him and give Altgaro 10000 power. (17000 > 27000) Now, Altgaro attacks... (27000)" Rukia said blankly, missing Yza once again. Her complex emotions for him and knowing his inevitable outcome she had to give to him made her want to cherish the moments she had with him. Even though she was Яeversed, she had a more free mind, and started to realise it was a bad idea... but then, her mind would clamp onto that idea and crush it.
"Generation Guard! Dragwiser, Bronarch! Her skill, revealing the top five cards of deck... (Abyssal Owl, Dragwizard, Semias, Dragwizard, Morfessa, Cursed Eye Raven, Dragwizard, Morfessa) Calling Semias and Abyssal to guard! (26000 > 36000) The rest to the bottom of deck."
"Altmile attacks your vanguard! (29000)" Rukia shouted.
"No guard!" Kinjuzo replied.
"Triple drive! (Maskkgal, Holy Knight Guardian, Banding Jewel Knight, Miranda) Heal trigger. All to Shellie and heal a damage. (10000 > 15000)"
"Damage check. (Knight of Brawn, Grosne)" Kinjuzo clicked his tongue.
"Shellie at you! Skill, since I have 3 Jewel Knight rears, she gets 3k! (15000 > 18000)"
"Guard with Swordbreaker and Babd! (21000)" Kinjuzo replied.
"What's your Ritual?" She asked.
"Ritual Eight." Kinjuzo replied.

"Stride skill. Counterblast and retire Naoise. Superior call, Belial Owl and Abyssal Owl, and call from hand Morfessa. Boosted by Belial, Morfessa attacks vanguard! Her skill, add 5000 power! (9000 > 14000 > 18000)"
"Arongal guards! (21000)"
"Abyssal Owl attacks Shellie! (7000)"

"Turn end." Rukia announced, eyebrows narrowed.

"Kinjuzo!!" Yza called out to him.
"Yes, Yza?"
"...let me finish this match. I started this mess, so let me end it!" He declared.
"So, you finally decided she's worth beating now?" Kinjuzo chuckled.
"I guess you can say that... You've done so much for me... So, let me take care of this enemy for you."
"Alright then Yza... Go for it." Kinjuzo nodded in agreement, as Yza was put forward, and emerged.

"Rukia." Yza looked at her. "I didn't forget your words from earlier."
"Yza?" Her voice chirped happily.
"Turn end." Yza grinned at her.
"WHAT?! NO YOU IDIOT!" Kinjuzo shouted at him as he tried to take back control. He couldn't. Yza seemingly took full control back, sealing away Kinjuzo for good. "Yza just... Just got rid of me... Discarded me like I was... nothing...."

Rukia:

"My turn. Stand and draw." Rukia breathed in and out, her heart racing. "This might hurt slightly." She turned her vanguard. "Ashlei "Яeverse" attacks! (11000)"
"No guard..." Yza smiled at her.
"Twin Drive!! (Holy Knight Guardian, Jewel Knight, Swordmy)"
"Damage check... (Dragheart, Luard)" Yza dropped to his knees, grinning widely. "We can finally be together now...."
"Yeah... yeah we can!" Rukia went over to her boyfriend and hugged him tightly, before helping him stand up. Rukia looked at Luard. "Are you ready?"
"I'm ready..." Yza nodded as Rukia took Luard from his vanguard circle and slammed it down again.
"Arise once more, as a Яeverse solider!" Rukia commanded. "You shall join our ranks!" A red ring appeared under Yza, a black outlining shimmering around it. A blood red light engulfed Yza as he screamed in agony as the Яeverse took hold of him, and Luard became Nightmare Dragheart, Luard "Яeverse". As the light cleared, Yza had two blood red marks running down his cheeks, resembling pointed tears.
"Rukia..." Yza looked at Rukia's eyes.
"Yes, Yza?" Rukia asked, extremely happy.
"Let's reform this world... Together..." Yza held both of her hands as the two smiled brightly at one another.
"Yes... Let's do that... And show them all what we can do." Rukia nodded in agreement.

Well, it's been a goddamn long time since I've done an Author Note and an Update on this Book...

Let's just say real life has not been kind and I've been pre-occupied with other stuff, but yeah, overall, I'm really happy with how this chapter turned out.
