Turn 74: Date Gone Wrong

Kinjuzo looked at Mai with an awkward smile. "Yeah... I'm not Yza." He replied, looking at Mai who looked like her brain stopped working, as smoke came out of her mouth and her eyes became swirls.
"Kinjuzo? KINJUZO??" She shrieked as Dax charged into the room.
"Mai, are you okay?! IS HE RAPING YOU- Oh...?" He raised a brow as he saw Mai on the ground, out cold due to shock.
"...what did you do to my older sister?!" Dax shouted.
"Wait, older? She looked younger..." He mumbled. "Hang on, I didn't do anything... Crap." Kinjuzo facepalmed. Dax raised a brow.
"What is going on..." Dax sweatdropped.
"Let's just say I'm not Yza."

"So let me get this straight. Yza had suppressed Dissociative Identity Disorder, and you're the result of it?" Dax said, as the two were downstairs sitting on opposite ends of a wooden kitchen table. Mai was lying on the green sofa, still knocked out.
"That's basis of it."  Kinjuzo nodded.
"God damn... You know how confusing that is?" Dax asked.
"I know right.... Yza's life is a walking shitstorm."
"And how do you know?"
"I have blurry memories." Kinjuzo sipped some green tea. "Ah, now I remember why I don't like this stuff..." He stuck out his tongue a little.
"Oh? I can get you another drink if you want." Dax said.
"Uh... Sure." Kinjuzo nodded.
"Alright, whaddya want?" Dax took the cup and emptied it into the sink, pouring the contents out and rinsing the cup. He then opened the fridge. "I've got cold and hot."
"I'd like some soya milk." Kinjuzo replied as Dax got a bottle of soya milk and handed it to Kinjuzo.
"Here ya go." Dax smiled. Kinjuzo held the cold, plastic bottle tightly.
"Thank you." He proceed to twist the cap open and started to drink straight from the bottle. A small sound was heard from the living room, as Mai slowly got up from her laying position.
"Hnngh, what happened?" She mumbled. Kinjuzo and Dax walked towards her.
"Morning." Kinjuzo waved. Mai looked around.
"Eh, Yza? What happened...?" She blinked.
"But he's not-" Dax got elbowed by Kinjuzo.
"Yeah, its me... Yza. Basically, I found you knocked out and brought you here." He lied flawlessly. Mai became dark red. Dax swallowed hard. "I'll make her Rukia's replacement... this will be perfect." Kinjuzo thought with a smirk.
"Pervert..." Mai replied as she turned away from him. Her memories were fuzzy, but she remembered him being in her room and kissing him. She simply thought it was a dream.
"Haha..." Kinjuzo laughed slightly. "But to be honest Mai... I'm madly in love with you."
Mai became surprised as Dax slowly walked away to give them space. He had a shocked face on.
"I-I-I..." Mai stammered as she looked at Kinjuzo with wide eyes, her dark red cheeks having a small amount of pink tinted on it. "...I love you too... but... what about your girl..."
"I broke up with her... Rukia isn't my type." Kinjuzo replied with a sweet smile.
"...so that means we can be together?" She said excitedly, a wide smile on her face. Kinjuzo, taking a closer look at Mai, he noticed how cute she was, and that made him slightly blush.
"Yes, we can..." Kinjuzo sat down next to her. Mai immediately latched onto him. "Wow.. this is kinda surprising."
"...s-shut up..." Mai said with a smile as she held onto her arm. "Let me have my moment."
"Yeah yeah..." Kinjuzo pecked her on the lips and smiled. "You want to go out on a date or something?" He asked. Mai nodded eagerly.
"Sure, let's go now!"
"N-now?" Kinjuzo was slightly taken back.
"...oops?" Mai replied with a nervous laugh. Kinjuzo smiled as a response.
"Alright, we can go now." Her face lit up brightly as Mai stood up, dragging Kinjuzo along side her.
"Okay, where should we go? I know a great little cafe which sells some amazing French desserts!"
"French desserts? That sounds very good..." Kinjuzo's mouth drooled a little at the thought.
"Alright, let's go!" Mai eagerly said. It was like a whole another side to the monotone girl. Kinjuzo was blown away by how excitable and eager she could get at times. Dax was in pure shock at this.
"WHEN THE HELL DID MAI GET SO BUBBLY AND ACTIVE?!" He screamed in his mind. "SHES ALWAYS SO STOIC AND QUIET! WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO HER KINJUZO?!"
"H-hang on, I didn't bring any money!" Kinjuzo replied as Mai dragged the boy by the arms as they headed to the shoe rack.
"That's fine, I'll pay." She replied. Kinjuzo nodded.
"Holy crap, she's sticking like glue..." He sweatdropped. When the two reached the shoe rack, Mai let go to put on her shoes. Kinjuzo took this opportunity as a break from the clingy girl as he put on his black shoes. He breathed in and out, before standing up again.
"Let's go." He smiled at her. Mai nodded and held his hand gently.
"See ya, Dax."
"Later Sis! Have a good time!" He grinned and waved at her. "Also, wear protection Yza!" Kinjuzo looked at Dax.
"Sure...."
"Dax, don't say that kind of stuff." She replied sharply. Dax stuck his tongue out.
"Sowwy."
"It's fine, Mai. Lead the way!"

Shika shuffled his deck and said, "So, you're the last one who hasn't been beaten in this card shop? Jesus Christ... how annoying is this." He slammed the deck down and drew five cards. "A total of twelve fights in 1 hour... That's not gonna cut it if I'm reversing everyone."
"Damn... This is crazy..." His opponent muttered. Shika grinned menacingly.
"Stand up the vanguard, Mecha Trainer."
"Stand up the vanguard, Lizard Soldier, Conroe!"

Rukia walked down a busy street, with the floor being a dark grey concrete. People walked past her, as she strode forward in a powerful yet beautiful manner, her back stiffly upright, and her steps mature like. A small frown was drawn across her face, and etched onto there, not breaking. It seemed like she hadn't smiled in forever, and a piece of her soul was long gone. Taking a curved turn, she approached a small shop with a black and white colour scheme, with an addiction to forms of stripes. It resembled your every day coffee shop, with the building's outside a fading white, the paint chipping and exposing its dull coloured bricks. Two tables sat outside, with a hood of sorts covering it. The hood was black and white striped, and was hanging over a window, which had black writing reading "Café from Another Country: France" as if it were a poor parody from a name of a show or something. However, the place had customers, yet had a warm and cozy feeling, with the inside having warm yellow lights on and a relaxed atmosphere, while the outside was inviting while the outside was dark and dull. Rukia was approaching this shop for another reason. Pushing the black door open, a bell rang and she saw a waiter run up to her clumsily.
"Welcome to the Cafe from Another County: France! I'll be your waiter, Kakahashi, hope to be of good service miss!" He bowed in front of her.
"Oh, thanks..." She replied in a monotone voice. "Where should I take a seat?"
"Wherever you want, let me get you a menu!" Kakahashi smiled and bowed, before getting a menu and putting into Rukia's hand. "I'll be back with you in a moment." He ran off. Rukia looked around and noticed Yza, or rather, Kinjuzo, sitting across Mai as they were eating French desserts. She strode over casually and sat into the seat near Kinjuzo. She opened up the menu and looked at the intricately designed menu, with golden outlining, brown borders and white background with a light grey texture, the menu items were handwritten by what seemed to be India Ink, and pictures of the food were printed on there. Any normal person's stomach would start rumbling, and their mouth would start salivating, but for Rukia, her stomach was still and her mouth was fine. She put down and the menu as Kakahashi ran over.
"Did you decide Miss?" He asked her politely.
"Yes. I'll take a glass of water." Rukia replied bluntly. Kakahashi's eyes widened before nodding.
"Yes miss... I'll be with you in a second." He ran off. Rukia's eyes slowly trailed off to Kinjuzo and her ears focused on overhearing their conversation.
"Holy crap, this cake is delicious!" Kinjuzo exclaimed with excitement, the food bringing out a more excitable part of his personality. He grabbed his spoon and cut through the soft sponge, and taking a bite of the cake, the cream and the jam mixing together. "WHY IS CAKE SO DAMN GOOD?!" He screamed. Mai laughed at him.
"Glad you came out here now?" She asked. In front of her was a tall glass of a sundae, drizzled with sweets and other stuff to make the ice cream taste even better.
"Hell, yes." He grinned as cream was on his nose. Mai leaned in and wiped it off for him, as the two laughed. In the first time in what seemed to be forever, Kinjuzo felt some form of emotion for someone else. His cheeks were tinted pink. When Kakahashi returned, he put the glass of water in front of her.
"Thanks." Rukia replied, before picking up the water and drinking some. She then splashed the rest on Kinjuzo's arm.
"What the heck?" He blinked as he turned his head to lock eyes with Rukia who looked sorrowful.
"Sorry." She replied in a sharp tone, her eyes narrowing. "So tell me Yza, why are you with her?"
"....what the..." Kinjuzo panicked as Mai blinked as she saw Rukia, then went dead pan.
"Hi, Rukia."
"So your new daytime job is to steal other people's boyfriends?" Rukia asked Mai with a small chuckle.
"Okay, this cannot end well." Kinjuzo's eye twitched. "Uh, I'm here with Mai to eat cake... That and we're now boyfriend and girlfriend."
"So now you're cheating on me with this flat chest?!" Rukia shouted, her personality shifting. It seemed as if she was acting, but it didn't seem like it at the same time.
"Wait, no! I mean, yes! I mean.. Agh!" Kinjuzo replied as he ran his hands through his hair. Everyone in the cafe was watching the three. "Jesus fucking Christ, I was under the impression we were through. You weren't responding to shit I was saying to you, and you even blocked me. And now I'm the bad guy? What the fucks wrong with you, you two faced lying bitch?! You left me for dead, twice, and all you care about is your stupid relationship with Yza?! This is why I hate you! You make me feel sick to the core, and I will never understand why Yza even is in love with a snake like you!" Kinjuzo blew up in Rukia's face. "Do me a favour and fuck off!"
While she was being shouted at, Rukia pretended to cry, with slow tears falling from her eyes as she lifted her head slowly. However, she wasn't frowning. She was smiling.
"So, I heard your name was Kinjuzo." Rukia said darkly. "Isn't that right? Kinjuzo, Takami."
"...how the hell do you know?"
"Backlion."
Mai looked helplessly at Kinjuzo, before Rukia revealed the truth.
"Wait, Yza!" She spoke up. "Whose Kinjuzo?!"
"...I'm Kinjuzo. Kinjuzo Takami." Kinjuzo said, sweating. Under pressure, he stood up and faced Rukia face to face. "I am the split personality of Yza Blade!" He replied. Mai was in shock.
"You're not the person I love...?!" She covered her mouth, her eyes tearing up.
"....no. But.... Mai.... you.... you made me feel something I couldn't feel towards anyone in a long time... that's... love..." Kinjuzo was shoved to the ground by Rukia, who towered over him. Kakahashi ran over and split up Rukia and Kinjuzo.
"You two.... or three, sort your issues outside! Everyone is watching you!" He asked angrily.
"Shut up." Rukia shoved him to the side as she grabbed Kinjuzo by the collar. "Me and Yza have unfinished business. Get him out."
"No way in hell. I'm protecting him till the bitter end. I won't crack under the like of a bitch like you!" He barked.
"You're only here because of the bad things that happened to Yza, including me leaving. I'm practically your mother. So, do as I say. Bring. Him. Out." She threatened. Kinjuzo laughed at this, his hair covering his eyes. His laugh was ingenue and his mouth was frowning.
"No way in fucking hell." He said darkly.
"So be it." Rukia used her foot to kick Kinjuzo deep in the gut, as Kinjuzo felt a sick sensation curl within his stomach. Throw up resided in the back of his throats as he swallowed it, trying to resist. He grabbed her hand and tried to pry it off his shirt.
"Get off me...!" He shouted, before something snapped within his mind.
"NO, YZA!"
"Kinjuzo... That's my girlfriend... Don't talk shit about her!" He pleaded.
"No way... you're too naive dammit! She's a bitch! Don't try to break free!"
"BUT I MISS HER. I MISS RUKIA." Yza cried.
"...R-Rukia?" Yza spoke up softly, tears instantly forming in his eyes when he saw her face. "....it's really you...."
"GODDAMMIT YZA!" Kinjuzo shouted as Rukia kicked him in the stomach, before a strong nausea hit him. Kinjuzo threw up on Rukia's arm and his own hands. "Uhhh...."
"...Rukia... I'm sorry!" Yza shouted as Kinjuzo was too weak to take control. "...i love you. Don't leave me.... please..." He cried, tears streaming down his face.
"....my love for you was...." Rukia started, before frowning. "My love huh...." She pulled away her hand as Mai watched the two. She couldn't bear it anymore and ran off. Yza and Rukia looked away from each other.
"...YOU PIECE OF SHIT." Kinjuzo stood up, his voice furious. He wiped Yza's tears away. "I'M NOT GONNA STAND AROUND WHILE YOU HURT HIM, YOU HEAR? I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF THE BULLSHIT YOU SAY, RUKIA. ONCE AND FOR ALL, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU." He growled. Rukia looked at him and giggled.
"Bring it then, big boy." She brought out her vanguard deck.
