It's pretty obvious which Set is linked to which arc, if you base it off clans.

Now, since that's done, I'm gonna do a bit of "behind the scenes" and show you some of the scrapped ideas for the book. If you did or didn't know, the ending to the series was very abrupt, as I actually rushed past some plot points to get to the end of the book. Most of the fat I cut from the story was near the end. Here were the ideas that could've/would've been used:

Ayaza joining the Яeverse group (Backlion and co.) and killing Aya. This didn't happen, and instead I had Ayato kill Aya off, and Ayaza join Ayato's plans.

Who remembers Kotaro, Ava and Atsuko? Well, I had planned for them to be important characters within the Яeverse arc, but unfortunately, due to time constraints and wanting to end the series quicker, they were kinda brushed over. More characters who would've been more significant were Riku, Ignus and Kurakuya as fighters against the Яeverse. Tai and Kane's story arc was also rushed.

Tai and Kane would've also been the ones who killed Kyle, then leave on their own accord for taking a life. Instead, I made it so Kyle died from Ryu's revengeful Attack as it would've added more to Ryu's character, who remained undeveloped.

Another plot point I wanted to develop on was a Yza-Rukia-Mai love triangle. It didn't happen... While on the subject of love, there should've been more Rino x Wyvon moments. I didn't add enough of that...

Also, did you know, I nearly made the Яeverse arc set on Cray as a Battle Royale-type war? At the end of it, Yza and Mai would've 2 v 1'd Backlion, then somehow we would've done the portal arc (Turns 80-82 of the book). I changed it to be on Earth because... how the hell would they get on Cray without the portal pieces in place? So I had it on Earth, then realise that the Яeverse arc was way too long and rushed to the ending.

I also had the ending a little different. I would've had Yza and Ayato return to Earth without any memories, but I decided to keep it ambiguous and leave it up to the readers to decide their fates. Although, they'll be soon revealed in book 2, ahahaha...

Speaking of book 2, a sequel is in the works~ It will be coming out very soon too! (No confirmed release date however.) So look out for that please! It will be called "Cardfight!! Vanguard G: Z World". (Did you get the reference? If you didn't... ZA WARUDO)
