Sakura

It has been years since Syaoran and I got married, and we had a daughter. An enthusiastic, athletic 10 year old girl named Lian.

Lian has the same personalities of the both of us, but her eyes have the same color as her father.

Syaoran looks at the clock, smiling to know that she is going to be late for school.

"Sakura, should I be the one to wake our daughter up?" Syaoran chuckles as he gets his work papers.

He is now a Professor , teaching at an university near our hometown.

"I'm sure she'll notice the time in 3 ... 2... 1..."

We heard a scream, as we chuckled as Lian came down the stairs with her uniform all dressed up.

"Morning, Mom, Dad. " She greets us.

"Morning." We replied as I said, "You better be good with your teachers today, Lian."

Lian quickly grabs a bite of her breakfast as she rushes to the door, putting on her rollerblades.

"I'm heading off! I promised to Johnny that I'll meet him to school."

She heads out of the house as Syaoran said, "Have a good day, sweetheart."

I can't believe that I overslept! I have the strangest dream though. I was wearing a mask and costume and someone was with me. 

I was also top of a building with a star staff in my hand, ready to fight someone, the thing is, I don't know who. 

"You ready for this, Lian?" My partner asks. 

"As if. " I replied, then I woke up, looking at the clock, realizing that I was late for school. 

As I rollerblade through the streets, Johnny was waiting for me, with his bike. 

He was a family friend of my mother's , he's the son of Julian, who is very mysterious and barely makes an appearance. 

"Let me take a wild guess, you overslept again." Johnny said, as I was embarrassed by it. 

"How would make a wild guess like that?" I groan. 

As we reached the school, Johnny ask, "Hey, do you have any Independent Study project done yet?"

"No, I didn't. I guess I must not have a good subject to rely on." I replied. Johnny said, "I'm sure you and Amanda can figure it out. You two are two peas in a pod. " 

Amanda is my best friend since childhood. We do everything together, even our moms are best friends to be exact.

"Lian! I know what we can do for our project. I can make a documentary about you and your life moments! It would be amazing and mysterious." 

I grin, "Wow, nothing beats you on a school subject doesn't it, Amanda?"

We went inside our classroom and I begin with all my classes, being a cheerleader.

"Wow, Lian, you're the best!" One of the classmates said, as I blush, "I guess I got the talent from my mother." 

Johnny and I walked home together as we arrived back to the Kinomoto household.

"I'm glad that we lived next door to each other. I hope that you sleep well, Lian." Johnny said.

"Feelings mural, Johnny. Say hi to Julian for me, ok?" I ask.

He nods as I walk inside the house, as I realize that nobody was home.

"I guess I have the house to myself." I mumbled as I go to the fridge to grab something to eat.

That was when I hear something unfamiliar.

It came from the basement, which is the one room that Mom and Dad forbidden me to go.

I wonder why they made it forbidden. I mean it's just a dusty old room. How bad could it be?

As I pulled the door wide open, I clicked the light switch as I continue hearing the strange sound.

I notice an old book glowing, as if something is calling out to me. It appears before me, as I  look inside.

The lock opens and it reveals some sort of star locket and cards .

I picked up the card as I read, "Windy?"

The magic surrounds me as I covered my eyes as the cards went away in a flash as I collapse on the ground.

Kiro 

I woke up, mostly from hibernation, as I saw a girl look familiar. It has to be Sakura! But why she lying on the ground?

I look at the Sakura Clow Cards holder as I gasped that they're not there anymore! Oh, man, this isn't good! 

I shake the girl, "Sakura, wake up! " 

The girl's eyes open as she notices me and backs up in total surprise. "Who are you, are you a stuffed animal?"

I was offended, "No, I am not a stuffed animal! I'm Kiro barrows, the Guardian of the Sakura Clow Cards Book!" 

She looks at the book, "So, this is a family heirloom? The Sakura Clow Cards Book?"

"Sakura, you know this book by the back of your hand! How come you never heard of this book?" I ask. 

That was when the girl realizes something. "Oh, you must of think I was Sakura. I'm not Sakura Avalon. 

I'm the daughter of Syaoran and Sakura, Lian." 

I gasp, "No way! So you're Sakura and Syaoran's kid huh? You look like her though. The similarities are unreal, you look like her twin." 

Lian sweats, "That is what people tell me nowadays. So you knew my parents, Kiro?"

The Guardian said, "I think it's best we talk in your room. " 

Lian's room looked exactly like her mother's and it seems like she and Syaoran make sure that their daughter doesn't know anything about magic or the Clow Cards.

It must been a secret well hidden. 

"So, the Sakura Clow Cards. What are they exactly?" Lian asks curiously as she puts the book on her desk. 

All the memories of the adventures I've had with Sakura and Syaoran was incredible. 

Lian has no idea what she gotten herself into . 

"All the Sakura Clow Cards are powerful. Your mother, Sakura, was a  Master CardCaptor. Her mission: To collect all the magical Clow Cards and transformed them back to normal. 

It seems that you accidentally opened the seal by mistake and now the Sakura Cards are out on the loose. 

A lot of things will happen, Lian. And since you opened the Seal, you have to find all 52 Sakura Clow Cards." 

She said, "Did you say 52 Clow Cards?!? Wow, I didn't realize that was in the book when it magically opens."

I have to find them and without my parents knowing the truth. I have to be undercover superheroine. 

I will became a Cardholder, just like my mother, but with a different name. I know, Night Captor!" 

I knew I can trust this kid. "Lian, if you want to become a Cardholder, you must take the Cardholder Oath." 

"I call on the Sakura Clow Card Book, I have a new Cardholder who would help collect the Clow Cards! 

Unleash your powers to her. Her name is Lian Avalon, Night Captor!" 

The Star necklace transforms into Sakura Staff, "Grab the Staff, Lian! This is your mother's staff." 

Lian hesitated at first, but then grabs the staff and transforms her clothes and hairstyle with a mask covering her face. 

As the light descends, Lian looks at the mirror of her reflection. "Amazing! " 

Suddenly, the window bursts open like a whirlwind.

"It's the Windy Clow Card! We have to seal it!" I said. 

Lian exclaimed, "In the middle of the night?!? Are you sure this is a good idea, Kiro?"

"Come on! This is Night Captor's first mission! You knew that this has be done." 

Lian sighs as she got her rollerblades and rolled out of the house as I follow her.
