life sucks sometimes, doesn't it? we all go through hard times, whether it be with our physical health, mental health, family, friends, etc. but we also live through beautiful times; we've all laughed so hard our stomachs hurt, been flattered by someone's kind words, experienced the kind of joy that feels magical. and it's those times that make everything else feel bearable.

i am just like each one of you reading this. i have experienced hardships and gone through things that left me unsure if i would make it through alive. but i'm still here, and i believe that everything that has happened to me happened for a reason. and i am thankful for it all because i wouldn't be the person i am today without those things.

in this book, i am going to offer reflections on my experiences, both the good and the bad. further, i am open to diving into any of your personal questions. i love to talk about mental health, and i want this book to be a place where readers can come to seek solace, connect with people who have experienced similar things, and where we can all feel safe and loved.

please keep in mind that this book will contain sensitive material. i will include trigger warnings at the beginning of sensitive chapters, so please read at your own risk. some topics we will potentially discuss include mental health (depression, anxiety, self-harm, etc), loss of loved ones, physical health struggles, sexual assault, etc.

there will be no hate of any kind tolerated in this book's comment section. if i see any comments (and my frequent readers know i watch my comments closely) that do not spread positivity, they will be deleted. frequent offenders will be blocked. so please be kind!!! it's the most powerful weapon you have!

finally, i am not a licenced professional. anything i say or any advice i offer should be taken with a grain of salt. i am human and i make mistakes. if you are going through a difficult time, i encourage you to seek help beyond me.
