"I'm bored," Vince laid upside down on the loveseat. His hair was pulled by gravity and he could swear the room was spinning with all the blood rushing to his head, "we should go out." He looked over at Casen, who seemed to be upside down and oddly far away.
"Holy shit," Casen murmured, completely disregarding Vince's comment.
"What?" Vince sat the right way and slowly got up so he wouldn't faceplant, "Did something happen?"
"Mhm," the platinum haired male hummed while nodding his head.
"Is it bad?" Vince peered over Casen's shoulder.
"Not at all!" Casen grinned giddily. It was one of the widest smiles Vince had seen him wear in a long time, "I got the promotion!"
"Are you serious?!" Vince's brows raised
"Yes! Dead serious. (haha thats ironic--). It really happened!" He sighed audibly with relief, "All my hard work finally paid off."
"Well you know what we should do then?" Vince grinned mischievously
"What is it?" Asked Casen, slowly trying to look away from his phone and at Vince.
"We should go out! Celebrate! How does that sound?" Vince was really just craving some fries or hotdogs or something.
Casen got that same grin, "Lets go."
****
From the tops of skyscrapers to the bottoms of sidewalks neon lights mirrored off the lampposts and cars raced by with each fleeting moment. Casen and Vince were walking side by side, wrapped up tightly side by side as chilling wind passed them by. Though chilling, the two being close together was enough to defeat the cold (not really, but it's cute). And you get onto me bc i cant spell BITCH lmao valid
"Where are we going?" Casen shoved his hands into the pockets of his long black pants. Nose red from the cold and shoulders shaking from the breeze.
"You'll see!" Vince bounced his shoulders, "It'll make the night a million times better! It'll make everyone's nights better and you know why?" The korean nudged Casen, his boney hand leaving his pocket to do so.
"Why?" Casen smiled over at the male.
"I'm going to be there! Now come on, we're almost there." He grabbed Casen's arm without pulling the silver haired man's hand from his pocket.
It was a club. Vince had brought Casen to a club.
"This is going to be amazing!"
"Why did we park so far away when there's a parking lot right here?" Casen laughed, motioning to the parking lot.
"Element of Surprise, bub! Let's go!" He grinned widely, taking the newly promoted man and dragging him inside after going through security and stuff like that.
The lights in the club danced off the walls and to the people on the floor. The music boomed in an out everyone's ears and made a vibration under everyones jumping feet. People of all different shapes and sizes were on the dance floor having a good time while hooking up and dancing on one another. However, maybe the club wasn't such a good idea.
Casen's ex girlfriend was there. Which meant Casen was going to get very drunk or else he would try to talk to her. The silver haired male gulped, the cold that as resting on his lips from outside dropped down his throat and into his stomach, which spread like wildfire as a horrible feeling.
"Vince. . ." Casen gulped, motioning to the blonde.
"What?" Vince turned to Casen, noticing his worried expression, "Do you not like clubs? We-We can leave. . ." He started to mutter, "But the admission was $30.' He shook his head, "But we can still leave!"
"My uh," Casen looked everywhere but at Vince, "my ex is here. . . Do you know what that means?"
"No. . ." Vince leaned closer, "What does it mean?"
"Rounds on me!" And with that, Casen dragged Vince through the crowd and to the bar, probably about to drink until his liver gave out.
****
To say the least, both Casen and Vince were incredibly drunk.
Casen's ex, Simone, had caught sight of the two boys. WhiSimone and Casen's relationship, she was over-the-top pan-phobic and wasn't afraid to hide it. It was toxic for him to stay in the relationship as long as he did.
Casen looked back at her, but once Vince had memorized what she looked like, he saw her and grabbed Casen's face, their eyes locked together, and a moment intimacy between them. All of their shared moments flashed through the two boy's minds as they looked at each other, and not at Simone. Vince giggled with a drunk, discombobulated tone to his laughter.
"Y'know. . ." Vince snickered, brows raising, " She is really ugly!"
Casen laughed, but it was more of a slur and a bounce of his shoulders, "I was young!" He removed Vince's hands, which were still tightly clasped to the Canadian's face, "I was ugly too!"
"You still are!" Vince cackled.
"You're such a bitch!" Casen laughed and punched Vince's shoulder.
"Can I be your bitch?" The Korean grinned smugly.
The platinum haired male's eyes widened, "Just for tonight?"
"Just for tonight," Vince winked at his counterpart, "now let's make a bitch jealous, shall we?"
"We shall--"
"Casen!" Simone was right beside them with a grin and two raised brows. Her facial features gave off an innocent vibe, but the Cosmo in her hand and a bit that was spilled on her dress didn't.
The aforementioned male's body quickly spun around, practically pushing Vince out of the way. Vince stumbled back for a moment, but gained balance after running into someone and straightening himself back up.
"Oh!" Casen laughed, "Funny running into you here!"
Simone laughed for a moment before letting her expression deadpan, "No it's not." Her voice was much more serious than before, "Were you stalking me?!"
Casen blinked, "What? No! I only stalk cute puppies on Finstagram!"
"Ah ha!" The African-American woman pointed a finger of accusation at Casen, "So you admit it! You're a stalker! Finally, I have proof." She crossed her arms.
"I didn't admit anything." Casen's face contorted back, "You're putting words in my mouth, Simone. We aren't together anymore so stop acting like you own me!" He stood tall above her.
"Why are you stalking me?!" Her voice had a dramatic annoying flare to it, the kind that freshmen have when they get their first role. "Do you wanna hurt me physically because you think I mentally hurt you?! Oh my god you are!"
"I'm not!" He stressed, drunkenly flaring his arms in front of himself.
Simone screamed, "Did you just try to hit me!" She cried, eyes wide and mouth agape, "You monster! He tried to hit me!" She screamed out loud.
The past couple had started to get looks from other people. Glares and sympathetic looks going to the wrong person.
Simon looked at Casen to show him that she had tears in her eyes. "Did you even eve-"
"Heey!" The two bickering Canadians were cut off by a very drunk Korean, "Just uh- I'm sorry." He laughed lightly, and leaned on Casen with one arm wrapped around the platinum haired male, and the other motioning to Simone, "Just who the fuck do you think you are?" He smiled and almost slipped back.
"Who do I look like to you? Mother Teresa?"
"More like a she-devil, actually. . . But you didn't hear that from me," he chuckled softly before trying to regain his posture, "anyways, why are you screaming at my boyfriend?"
"Boyfriend?" Simone laughed, "I hardly think someone cute like you could end up with him."
"Attraction works in crazy ways, love bug." Vince squeezed Casen, "Well, I think you're making my boyfriend--"
"You should be my boy--"
"Irrelevant!" Vince shouted, being unintentionally louder than he expected, "You're making my boyfr--"
"You should go for--"
"Shut up!" Vince groaned and threw his head back for a moment before straightening it to focus his gaze back on Simone, "Gah, I can see why he calls you annoying!" The Korean rolled his shoulders back, "Long story short, you're making Casen uncomfortable and I'm not here for that, hoe! So either you can walk your pretty little self out of here, or things will get ugly."
"Is that a threat?" Simone's chest puffed out as a sign of superiority. It didn't work.
"No," Vince laughed, "it's a promise."
Simone narrowed her eyes and let out a stout laugh, "What do you think you're going to do? Hit me with your small dick?"
"For your info bitch, my dick is large. Now, as for the former question you asked before you blatantly insulted me, I'm gonna do this." Vince smiled drunkenly at her, getting off of Casen and strutting up some. He cleared his throat and kicked her in the shin with one foot.
Simone screamed, grabbing her foot. There were scattered gasps washing across the crowd as Vince hopped back away from Simone and grabbed Casen, "We gotta go!" He said as they b-lined for the door.
"I thought it was $30 admi-"
"Casen!" Vince started as they almost made it out.
"Yeah?!" The Canadian looked at him with wide eyes.
"Shut up!" His voice cracked and they made it out of the club. The Korean chuckled when he heard Simone scream again.
****
"That bitch was so annoying! How did you put UP with that?!" Vince hopped into the drivers seat about five minutes later. "Is she good in bed or something?!"
"No! The only good thing about my sex life with her was me!" Casen ranted drunkenly.
"Oh-ho!" Vince bit his lip and grinned widely, "Good to know bub, good to know!" He started the car, don't drink and drive kids, and he made his way closer to the club.
"Why are we heading back?" Casen looked at the Korean.
"Vengeance for you're broken heart." Vince chuckled darkly, licking his lips. Simone was waiting outside with a pout washed over her face and furrowed brows. He hair was damp from the rain, and her clothes were soaked.
Vince smirked, speeding up and coming closer to the club.
"Vince, what are you doing?!" Casen grabbed either side of his seat, "Are you gonna run her over?!" His eyes widened.
The Korean didn't respond, just rolled down his window, and sped up more. He got closer to the curb of the sidewalk, and closer to Simone. The only thing she was paying attention to was her phone. Perfect!
"Vince!" Casen's screamed with his eyes squeezed shut (not the only time that night haha). "Stop the car!"
"Nope!" Vince laughed, driving quickly through a puddle, drenching Simone in the process. He raised his middle finger as he passed the African-American.
"Bye bye, crazy Bitch!" He whooped, laughing. He could hear Simone screaming as he drove off, a triumphant grin on his face, "And that's how you get revenge!"

Casen and Vince had ended up Ubering back to their place. After that whole thing, Vince was like "nah" and then they Ubered. Don't drink and drive, guys. Seriously. It's dangerous.
Anyways, as they walked in they were conversing lightly and having a hell of a time until Casen asked one fateful question that would change their dynamic forever .
"Is it true?" Casen asked.
Vince's attention swerved to Casen, "Is what true?" He cocked a brow.
"What you said in there. . The club," he sighed, "about being mine for the night?"
"Oh," Vince's cocky smile fell along with his dying laugh, "I was just kidding. . Were you?"
"Yeah! Yeah, totally. ." Casen chuckled awkwardly, making an attempt to avoid eye contact. The tone of his voice dropped from hopeful to disappointed. Drunk Casen opposed to Sober Casen had very different ways of expressing emotion, and this was one of them.
"Do you want me to?" Vince asked, "It doesn't really sound like you're joking."
"Well," the platinum haired male sucked in a breath, "The night's not over yet. And you did say that you would."
Vince looked at Casen, still relatively drunk. "What are you implying, Casen?" He slurred.
Drunk Casen and Sober Casen were having an argument amongst themselves. Sober Casen wanted to just play this all off as a drunken joke. However, Drunk Casen wanted to go back to Vince and his apartment room and go crazy. Live his best life, and drink even more!
And right now, Casen was drunk as fuck.
"What I'm implying is. . ." He started, leaning down so he was close to Vince, "You said you were gonna be mine for the night. Are you a man of your word, Vince?" His voice was quiet. Almost as if he didn't want Vince to hear him, but the Korean did. He heard Casen loud and clear.
****
Lets just say that Vince was a man of his word. The two were entangled with each other, hands in hair and up backs, faces in close proximity and bodies pushed against the other. They were going at it, as two drunk lovers do, but something about this was different. This was something that was unknown for both of them, but natural at the same time. The two were intertwined together, barely an inch of space between them.
Soon enough, Vince pulled back. Casen was going in for another kiss, but quickly realized Vince's absence and straightened his posture.
"What's wrong?" Casen asked, a hand placed gently on Vince's cheek, ready to fall at any moment.
Vince looked at the platinum haired man in front of him. Their eyes meeting, but the Korean quickly advering the contact, "We're just drunk, right?" He chuckled in a non-drunk sort of way.
Casen shrugged, his middle finger and ring finger grazing over the scar on Vinces left eye, "Yeah, I guess. Both of us drank a lo-"
"Casen." The Korean laughed light-heartedly, scooting away from the Canadian, "When you wake up tomorrow? Are you gonna remember how this felt?" He raised a thin brow, "Because I am."
"I don't get it." Casen's face contorted and he tilted his head, "What are you talking about."
Vince leaned against the pillows, fluffy hair frazzled on the pale sheets and his hazel eyes being the only things standing out in the dark as he slid down, "I'm asking you if Casen Reeds wants this. Or does a random drunk guy want this?"
Casen thought for a moment, trying to take in all the things Vince just said. Absorb it in a way. Did Sober Casen want this? Drunk Casen would never know! But if Sober Casen thought that Vince was even half as attractive as he is right now, Sober Casen would be head over heels.
He looked at Vince, placing a hand beside the Korean to prop himself up so that he was hovering over him, "A drunk man's actions are a sober man's thoughts."
Vince sighed softly and hesitantly pushed away from Casen, "Then maybe we should have it be a sober man's actions too." He slowly got off the bed and started to head to his own room.
"Wait, Vince--"
"It's okay," Vince glanced back, "we can do this another time. Alright?" He pursed his lips, "Not now, not here."
"Vince--"
The sound of the door closing interrupted Casen's sentence and thoughts all at the same time. He sighed exasperatedly and fell back onto his bed, head hitting the pillow as he stared at the ceiling. The smell of Vince's God awful cologne stained the sheets, making Casen roll in the opposite direction and put his hands over his face. He groaned into his palms, letting his chest sink with each second.
****
As Vince was leaving for work, a body slammed into the door in attempts to stop him. Vince's body jumped seeing as his head was still pounding and his body was barely functioning that morning.
"Casen, bub, I really need you to move." Vince said with a tired tone in his voice, "I don't have the energy to talk with you."
"Just. . ." He paused, "Just wait."
"What?" Vince stuffed his phone in his back pocket and stared into Casen's gaze
"About last night--"
"Please, I have to get to work. My boss is like God so if I'm late, she's gonna send me to hell . AKA She's firing me! So sorry, Cay, but I don't have time to unpack all of our dirty laundry right now. I have too much of that with too many people." He tried to get around Casen.
"Hear me out, Vince! Five minutes. Five minutes of your time is all I need. If you're late to work, blame it on me, or traffic or something. Just listen."
The Korean sighed, "Fine, what is it?" He raised his brows and leaned against the doorway.
"What happened between us," he paused, "that felt different then what has happened in the past with other people and I, and I think it was the same for you. . . Was it?"
Vince looked up at Casen, his eyes wider than usual and his mouth agape. He rubbed his fingers against his black ripped jeans and cleared his throat, "Of course it was." He shoved his tongue to the side of his cheek, "Why do you think I put up such a fight about getting it on with you? I don't want it unless you mean it. Unless you actually feel the same weird way I do."
"I think I do. . ." Casen bit the inside of his cheek, back pressing onto the door a bit harder than before
"You think? Bub, I hate to break it to you, but that's not good enough-"
"Then confirm it." Casen stood tall, a bit taller than the Korean, "Come to dinner with me tonight. Applebees?"
"My ex works there."
"NOT Applebees then. Where do you wanna go Vince? We've been friends since college and I don't even know your favorite restaurant. Tell me and I'll pick you up when you're shift is over, and we can go." Casen bit his lip, a weary expression painted on his face.
Vince blink, sliding his fingers through his afro-like hair, "And then what?" He made a scoff noise.
"What do you mean?"
"After we have a romantic dinner and a few glasses of wine, are we going to come back here, take our clothes off, then wake up the next morning as boyfriends?" He shrugged, "That's what I had with past dates. Boyfriends and Girlfriends, Partners of any orientation. They all began like that and they all ended the same way. Us breaking up and never speaking to each other again, and goddammit Casen I don't-" Vince slid his fingers through his hair once more, as if it reassured him somehow, or calmed him down. Casen could see that his hazel eyes were wide, even though the Korean was avoiding eye contact, "I don't wanna lose you." He mumbled, finally looking up at the Canadian.
Casen swallowed, shoving his hands into his pockets, "You aren't going to, Vince." He reassured the smaller man, "We aren't gonna come back here and 'get it on'. We're gonna go on a date, go to bed in our own rooms, and hopefully repeat until both of us know our real feelings." He explained, as if it was his own masterful plan, "Does that sound good, because I don't wanna lose you either." yes
Vince sighed softly with hands shoved in his pockets, "Okay, offer accepted." He grinned softly, "I get off of work at 4, by the way."
"I'll be there." Casen grinned, then got out of Vince's way.
