Axel x Pierce [Part 3]
Axel x Pierce part 3
Previously:
Eventually, Axel spotted the person he'd been looking so hardly for.
Pierce Hoffsmen.
"Pierce?" Axel questioned, causing the black haired male to look in his direction. He was transparent.
As they made eye contact, Pierce melted into the shadows and made an escape.

A rare curse left Axel's mouth. His mind raced for any ideas. An idea on where Pierce could possibly of run off to.
He sighed audibly. Maybe he just needs a moment alone. Axel thought to himself, a slightly puzzled look on his face.
The blonde blinked, his puzzled expression fading. He stepped back, a brand whacking him in the back of the head. This caused Axel to look back and pull his sword from his sheath.
His gaze hardened, an unamused look on his face as he stared at the branch. Had he really just gotten ready to fight a branch? Irene. . .
Axel placed his sword back into its sheath and he walked off, his mind jumbled with thoughts. He couldn't collect his thoughts and sort them out in a manner that would help him actually comprehend the situation.
Everything seemed to be happening so fast. One minute, Pierce was off killing someone for his blasted job and the next he's trying to avoid Axel at all costs just because of a small argument they had.
Fantastic. Axel wasn't too fond of this night to say the least.

Pierce was trailing along the isolation and protection of the trees, him trying to think of something. He assumed that Axel was still going after him, so he didn't stop. He didn't want Axel to find him for the time being. He just wanted to be alone like Axel predicted.
Small bits of that night popped into his head, it clouding his vision and overtaking his senses momentarily.
--
"Please. . ." The male's voice rang in his head, "Don't kill me. . . I-I have a wife and ki--" Pierce had cut him off, "I don't give a [beep] about your family." He growled. Whenever he was in an encounter like that, this evilness washed over him. He was different and Axel would hate it.
--
Adrenaline raced through Pierce's veins. He had done something the could never be undone.
His breaths were heavy, yet shaky at the same time.
The 5'10 male dropped his pitch black sword, it falling with a Clank! (despite it being dropped in the grass).
--
His victim turned, "Who's there?" He asked as he heard a rustle in the trees. "It's been a while. . . Garrett."
--
"Think about what you're doing." Garrett said, the only thing between Pierce's sword and his neck being his hand, "Think about the people you love. You'd be devastated if something like this happened to them. Perhaps your lover, your parents, siblings, frie--"
"Don't bring any of them into this." Pierce interrupted harshly, his scowl hardening immediately, "There's nothing you can do to persuade me to not do this."
--
Shing!
Hmph.
Pierce stared down at the body that laid on the ground, it being lifeless and cold. Garrett Unise was now dead.
--
"I don't get why you don't quit that job." Axel piped up, breaking the tension filled silence. Pierce stopped momentarily, looking up at him. "Do you know what they'd do?" He questioned.
"No! Why does it matter?" Axel replied, not giving Pierce time to finish his statement.
A stout laugh left the dark haired male's mouth. "They'd kill me! They'd [beeping] kill me. If you want that to happen, then fine! I'll quit."
"Of course I do--" Axel's sentence came to an abrupt stop as Pierce started speaking again, "You do?" He stepped back, "Then fine! I'll go and quit right now."
--
The blonde gulped, leaves crunching beneath his feet as he walked across the green grass.
Eventually, Axel spotted the person he'd been looking so hardly for.
Pierce Hoffsmen.
"Pierce?" Axel questioned, causing the black haired male to look in his direction. He was transparent.
As they made eye contact, Pierce melted into the shadows and made an escape.
--
Pierce shook the flashbacks from his thoughts, it no longer taking over his senses and mind. He found himself sitting down on a random tree branch, solidifying.
He sighed audibly, "What the [beep] am I doing?" He asked himself quietly, "Killing people for a living and running away from Axel for no reason in particular. . . What the [beep] am I doing?" Pierce muttered.
Pierce blinked, knocking himself from his thoughts. He hopped off of the brand he was sitting on, then walked off.
Was it too early to go back to the hotel and back to Axel? He didn't know, but he'd go back anyway.

Btw the flashbacks aren't in chronological order so don't think that you're reading it wrong!!
