I started Wattpad on December 2nd, 2015.
I hit 100 followers on July 1st, 2016.
I hit 200 followers on August 1st, 2016.

I got over a hundred followers in a time of 31 days... Thank you, it's absolutely mind blowing. I can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that over 200 people have me in their following list. Last night (July 31st 2016), I gave out a special thanks to people who have impacted my life in certain ways. You know who you are. I would put a special thanks in this, but I already did that. Like I said, for those that I thanked, you know who you are.

Seriously, thank you guys. When I started wattpad, I never expected to start writing stories or anything of that sort. I was fine with sitting back and reading other people's work, but then, I decided I wanted to start writing. And I did. The first piece I published on Wattpad was a project that Sophia_Smiles and I did two different versions of. That book was called Breaking Daylight. It's pretty obvious that Breaking Daylight isn't up anymore, because I unpublished it a few months ago. If you want to read Breaking Daylight, PM me about it and I'll show it to you. But that's not the point.

Sometimes, I'll look back at my first Aphmau fanfiction, The Minecraft Carol. Before I ever started writing it, I always thought 'How could people write fanfiction? Taking other people's characters and putting them in your own work?'. It seemed alien to me until I actually started writing fanfiction. Honestly, I don't regret it. I don't regret it one bit. After the Minecraft Carol was up, I was ecstatic when I saw it had gotten 20+ views. Back then, 20 seemed like a huge deal (even if I had published multiple chapters a day due to the fact that I wrote it all in Microsoft word in one day). I look back on it and see how much I've improved in writing. Here's a little bit of The Minecraft Carol, just as an example.

Chapter One of The Minecraft Carol:

The snow roared as it pounded on the window. Breaking the silence, a knock echoes thru the walls of the house. Katelyn nudges Aphmau "Well, answer the door, Aphmau." Katelyn said, looking at Aphmau, then the door "Fine." Aphmau gets up and heads to the door, opening it and to her surprise, Laurence, Garroth and Dante are standing there. "Laurence? Garroth? Dante? What're you guys doing here?" Aphmau asked, pushing them in from the fury of the storm outside "To see you of course." Laurence said, grinning. Kawaii~Chan looked at the guys, running to the boys "Dante~Kun!" She yells, hugging Dante. Dante stands there, slowly hugging her back. "Hey, Kawaii~Chan.." He said nervously. "Is something wrong, Dante~Kun?" "No, not at all, why?" "Oh, no reason. Kawaii~Chan just thought that Dante~Kun was worried." Dante nods and Kawaii~Chan pulls him to the couch. Katelyn just shrugs and heads to her room. Laurence and Garroth start chuckling "Has she noticed the Zane head on the poster yet?" Laurence asks, snickering "I think so, yea." "So, shall we cuddle on the couch, Aphmau?" Laurence asks as he grabs her hand, kissing it. Garroth nudges him "What the heck, dude?" Garroth says under his breath, looking at Laurence. Laurence smirks at Garroth and leads Aphmau to the kitchen "Aphmau, we need to talk." "What is it, Laurence?" "Us. I can't hold it in any longer." "There hasn't been an 'us', Laurence.. What about Garroth?" "Garroth? He'll be fine." Laurence swoops in and steals a kiss. Garroth walks in on them, Aphmau's eyes wide open, while Laurence's are closed. Tears fill Garroth's eyes but the tears look like rings of fire. "LAURENCE!" Garroth roars. Laurence turns around quickly, breaking the kiss. Aphmau steps back, looking at both of the boys. "What, Garroth!? Couldn't you see that I was doing something? You aren't blind!" "I-I.." "Well? What is it Garroth?" Laurence snaps at Garroth "At least I'm not a shadow knight that turns into a blood bath everytime something doesn't go my way!" Garroth snaps back, biting his lips nervously, after noticing what he said. "I didn't turn evil on my own village family because you thought Aphmau and I were making out in the woods! I never doomed the land because of a misunderstanding." "Both of you.. STOP!" Aphmau yells, breaking up the fight. "You guys need to leave. Cool off and come back when you're done fighting." Aphmau points to the door. Laurence and Garroth sigh, walking out. Dante looks back, seeing his friends leave. He jumps over the couch and bolts out "Dante~Kun! Where are you—" Kawaii~Chan sighs when she hears the door slam shut. Aphmau rolls her eyes and Katelyn runs down the stairs "I heard fighting, what did I miss?" Katelyn asks with excitement. "Nothing.. It was nothing!" Katelyn sighs.

Yup. That, compared to my current writing is pretty different. Well, not different, just improved, I guess.

Even know I used this opening before, I'm going to use it again... When I started Wattpad, I never imagined being this far. 200 followers, friends, fans, reads, books, collab accounts, ect. Never expected that...
Ever.
But... It happened... And I couldn't be any happier. Thank you all so much.

Garroth's POV

"Bye, boys!" Mummy exclaims as she waves at us from her car. "Bye, Mummy!" I exclaim. "Bye..." Zane mumbles. "Bye, Mom! Love you!" Vylad chimes. Mom sings one last goodbye, then drives off. Zane, Vylad and I all walk into the college, "Zane..." Vylad starts, "Why're you always so glum?" He asks. Zane shoots Vylad a quick glare, "Because I can be. Does there have to be an explanation?" Zane snaps. Vylad whimpers and looks down, but quickly props his head back up, "Normally there's a reason." Vylad says. "Normally. Not always." Zane replies in his usual cold tone. The three of us walk into a huge building, supposedly the dorm room. I walk up to the woman at the front desk, "Hi! We're the Ro'Meave brothers. Could we have our dorms please?" I ask. The woman smiles, nods, then goes down into the stack of papers. She stops at a tab that says R. "Vylad Ro'Meave, Garroth Ro'Meave and Zane Ro'Meave?" The lady question. "That's us." I chirp. "Zane, you'll be in a dorm with Travis Valcrum. Your room number is 123. Here're your keys!" She hands Zane his keys. Without a word, Zane disappears into the hallway. "Vylad, you'll be in a dorm with Dante Ocean. Your room number is 134." She hands Vylad his key. Vylad says a word of thanks, gives me a quick side hug, then disappears. "So, I guess that leaves you, Mr. Garroth Ro'Meave. You'll be rooming with Laurance Zvhal." Why does that name sound so familiar? "In room 147." She finishes. I feel the cold metal of dorm keys in my hand, "Thank you." I thank. The lady looks up at me and smiles, "No problem. Have a great school year!" She exclaims. I flash her a smile, then walk off. Room 145... Room 146... Aha! Room 147. I place the key in the lock, twist it, then open the door. "Who's there?" A male voice asks. "Only your dorm mate." I reply. Why does that voice sound so familiar? My brunette dorm mate comes into my sight. "Garroth?" He questions. The man's identity quickly pops into my mind, "Laurance!" I exclaim. Laurance and I rush into a bone-crushing bear hug. "I haven't seen you since highschool!" I exclaim. We pull back. Laurance looks me up and down, "The only thing that's changed about you is that you're about 6 feet tall now and I'm a little shortie down here at 5'9." He says. I chuckle, "You and your sense of humor." I mumble. "What was that?" Laurance questions. "No-Nothing!" I stutter. Laurance smiles, then hops away without a care in the world. I flash a small smile. Boy, have I missed him.

•A Couple Days Later•

I push Laurance off the couch. The TV rings, "Player one is the winner." The TV says. "Yes!" I cheer. Laurance gets back onto the couch, hands on his hips, a sassy look painted onto his face, "You cheated!" He exclaims. "Psh. No I didn't." I reply. "Then what's this?" He questions. Laurance tries with all his might to push me off, but I don't even budge. I look into his hypnotizing pale baby blue eyes. I feel myself slowly melting into them. Laurance pushes me off the couch, "Hah! Softie!" He exclaims. I snap myself out from my trance and stare into his blue eyes one again. Laurance gets up, yet trips on my foot. He falls on top of me, our lips inches apart. Just one inch closer. Just one inch closer. Just one inch closer. "Just one inch closer." I mumble on accident. Laurance seems to dip down without a second thought. It takes me a second to realize that our lips are glued together. I involuntarily kiss back, yet neither one of us seem to mind. Laurance pulls back, "One inch closer is all it took." He says. One inch closer... Was all it took.
