The next morning at Tae's office...

Taehyung's POV

"Taehyung?" I heard Joonie hyung calling me out. I must have spaced out again.

"Uh?"

"Urm are you alright? Is everything ok with you and Jungkook? Or did something happen?" Joonie hyung sounded worried.

I bet he is coz I called him right away to the office this morning without mentioning anything apart from the word urgent.

"Yea, everything is ok with me and Jungkook. We are completely fine. He was still asleep when I left this morning."

"Ehem, well I don't need the details of what happened last night but Im glad things are ok now. But why did you called me so early to the office today?"

Joon hyung was getting a little restless and worried about the situation.

Suddenly, the door was barged open and Yoongi hyung walked in with Jimin.

"Well now I am certainly very confused." Joon hyung looked at us all and shook his head.

"Save it hyung, I am very confused too. Yoongi hyung basically shook me awake this morning from my peaceful nap. I don't know why am I needed here too." Jimin sat down while munching on his apple which I assume is his breakfast.

Ops, I think I probably called all of them a little too early to be in the office this morning, but I have no other choice. I need all three of them.

"So Taehyungie, is anyone else joining us? You wanna throw a party or something?" Yoongi hyung sunk himself on my office couch clearly not amused with my early morning call.

As all the pair of eyes were staring at me, I gulped in nervousness about the news I was gonna break.

"I'm sorry I called you all so early in the morning, but I needed all of you to be here for something really important."

The room was silent. None of them spoke anything apart from couple of brows raising and eyes narrowing at me.

"I received a call this morning."

I looked at them again.

"Gosh Tae, please spill it all in one sentence, you don't have to kill us with anticipation." Jimin opened his eyes wide saying it sarcastically.

"Dear Lord! Wait Jiminie. I am trying to string it ok? Oof. Ok, so here is the deal. I received a call this morning. It was from Mr Jeon, as in the Mr Jeon, Jungkook's dad."

"Oh no! What he said? He hates you now?" Joon hyung asked.

"Aish hyung, why would he hate me? I am dating his son and we had dinner yesterday."

"Precisely, dating his son can be one of the reason he hates you. You certainly were not the nicest person to Jungkook."Jimin bite off the last bit of apple and smirked at me.

I annoyingly showed a middle finger at him asking him to fck off. He just giggled at me and stuck his tongue out playfully so I rolled my eyes at him and continued.

"Actually, last night during dinner, Mr Jeon mentioned that he wanted Jungkook to take over the business empire. But Jungkook refused as he said he is not capable to take care of a company on his own plus he prefers his current profession, being a freelancer. On the other hand, he was very proud of me coz I manage K.CO as the CEO at such young age."

All three of them nodded in unison as if taking in completely what I just mentioned.

"Urm, so what does that got to do with us?" Yoongi hyung asked.

I face palmed myself thinking that both the hyungs and Jimin are probably not being able to digest info and think clearly early in the morning.

"Hyung! Think! The problem is in the content I just said!! Gosh." I looked at them bewildered.

After a few minutes....

"OH NO! TAE, HE IS SUSPECTING YOU'RE GONNA CHEAT JUNGKOOK'S WEALTH?" Jimin yelled out loud which got both the hyungs gasped in horror too.

Geez! They really can't think.

Third Person POV

Taehyung really can't believe how shallow they are so early in the morning. He shook his head clearing it off before explaining all over again.

"Guys! What I meant was this..putting two into two, since I am dating Jungkook now, his dad called me early this morning to talk about the potential collaboration between J.Tulip and K.CO. He wish for me to lead the company together with his son."

Silence...

"Guys? Hello? Speak?"

"What did you say?" Namjoon asked his lil brother with a serious tone after digesting the info completely.

"This can be a huge deal Taehyung. We all know how big J Tulip is, it will become a national news if anyone knows about it. Certainly will blow off the news after what just happened between all these companies including the drama with Shay as well." Yoongi concluded his thoughts on a much serious note.

"I know hyung. I mean I didn't expect it to happen either, I was completely taken back by the suggestion and I left the house so early this morning partially freaked out from this news." Taehyung stood up and started pacing back and forth.

"Taehyung ah, there is nothing to freak out about. I mean I'm sure Mr Jeon would have suggested out of goodwill. You're a very capable young man." Jimin smiled warmly at his best friend attempting to calm him down.

Taehyung replied the compliment with a warm smile as well appreciating his best friend's thoughtful words.

"Taehyung, as much as I appreciate the kind offer by Mr Jeon, I think Jungkook should know about this too." Namjoon voiced his opinion.

"Definitely he should know. I mean legally its a must for the heir to be involved in the decision making. Even Mr Jeon can't deny his rights as they have adopted him and authorized him as the heir." Yoongi explained.

"Of coz, I am definitely gonna tell Jungkook about this. But, I also need to come up with a decision as his dad requested to meet me later in the noon. He wanted to settle this before he return to US tonight."

"Does Jungkook knows about this already?" Jimin asked.

Taehyung shook his head indicating that the younger probably have no idea about this yet.

"The reason I called you all here is coz I needed Namjoon hyung to represent K.Co's board of director, Yoongi hyung as my legal rep and of coz Jiminie as my accountant. If I were to even consider this option of merging, I need everyone on board to re-strategize the future of these two companies." Taehyung explained his intention of calling them there.

"I understand, of coz we will support and agree with what is the best for both of you and the companies, but I think Jungkook needs to be here. He needs to have a say in this."

Taehyung nodded and took his phone out to call his boyfriend awake and come to the office, not forgetting Hosoek as well as Jin coz he wanted to ensure all the important people in his life are present for the important decision he is about to take.

10:30 AM

All 7 boys were gathered in Taehyung's office once again where Taehyung broke the news.

"OMG! This will be the collaboration of the century!!" Seokjin gasped in awe.

"Oh ya, you guys are gonna be literally the power couple of the nation!" Hosoek joined in.

"Hyung..we have not decided on anything, we are in the midst of discussing. So don't put the pressure on Jungkook or myself. Nothing is certain yet." Taehyung carefully warned the exciting boys who started to paint an imaginative picture in their mind.

"I agree."

All 6 heads turned to look at Jungkook.

"What?" Taehyung wore the most shocking expression among all 6 as he stared into Jungkook.

"I agree Tae Hyung. Actually dad called me last night after you were asleep."

"He called? Why didn't I hear him call? I was sleeping next to you." Taehyung asked with a questionable look on his face coz he was most certainly there beside the younger as they spent the night long and excitedly with each other.

"Urm...that's coz you were passed out..after all the rounds of f..ops." Jungkook closed his mouth with his hands realizing the others are getting excited with the details.

"Oh yea..all the rounds?" Hoseok grinned ear to ear.

"Hi hi...yea..so what I meant was Tae hyungie hyung was asleep soundly when dad called and he shared the news with me. He asked me if I mind with his suggestions. I said no. I asked him to personally tell Taehyungie hyung about this." Jungkook explained calmly.

"So you knew? So I freaked out this morning for nothing?" Taehyung sunk his shoulders lower and crossed his arms sulking.

"Aigoo....we all panicked for no reason thinking Kookie didn't know." Jimin threw his hands in the air.

"Haha I knew it all along hyungs, and why would I disagree. I mean no one else can do a better job in dealing a company aside from Tae hyung. I'm not worried, in fact I am more confident to merge the company and take part now that Taehyungie hyung is with me." Jungkook moved closer to the older and pecked him in the cheek.

"*COUGHS* I think Namjoon here is also a good leader *COUGHS*" Seokin playfully kissed his boyfriend on the cheek not wanting to back down from complimenting his precious partner.

"Of coz Of coz! I didn't mean Joonie hyung is bad...I'm sorry hyung!" Jungkook apologized frantically.

"Relax Jungoo, I was kidding." Seokjin broke into laughter before continuing "In fact I agree with you, my Taebear is the best option your dad could have picked, he is amazing." Seokjin blew a kiss at Taehyung making the other broke into a boxy grin.

Everyone sighed in relief knowing the fact that both Jungkook and Taehyung now are partnering for life and this circle will remain with OT7 all the way for the rest of their lives.

"But I have a very humble request!" Jungkook lifted his hands up catching the attention of his hyungs.

"What?" Jimin asked.

"I want to merge both the companies into J.K & CO." Jungkook requested.

"Why J.K? As in for Jungkook?" Hosoek asked confused with the name change.

"No hyung. It's gonna be Jeon and Kim Corporation." Jungkook grinned proudly and looked over at Taehyung for approval, which his boyfriend replied with a thumbs up and wide smile.

"THE BEST!" Jimin and Seokjin started to clap loudly feeling proud at Jungkook for coming up with a wonderful suggestion.

"So I guess, now all it's left to do is inform you dad about this?" Yoongi felt happy for the young ones for embarking this new journey in their lives together.

Jungkook nodded excitedly and held tightly to Taahyung who left out a sigh of relief after the whole discussion about merging their company.

Don't get Taehyung wrong in any ways. It's not that he is greedy or selfish into the idea of merging their companies, its in fact the complete opposite. He knew the amount of pressure the younger must be under with the burden of taking over a company, he saw the clear anticipation in Mr Jeon's wish for his son to take charge of J.Tulip. Taheyung was very upset when he saw how Jungkook wasn't able to fulfill the wish nor avoid it.

Hence, when Mr Jeon called him earlier, he felt like he could help Jungkook in some ways but he didn't know if the younger will agree to such thing given that they just reconciled after a heart breaking incident involving Shay's nasty behaviour.

To his relief, Taehyung is beyond glad that the younger agreed to it keeping in mind that merging two companies together is basically a commitment as heavy as marriage itself. He is glad that Jungkook wish to be with him to embark on this journey.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook with heart swelling and bursting with love that he can't help but teared a little feeling overwhelmed with the love he have for this person.

Jungkook who was chatting and joking with the hyungs while waiting for his dad turned to look at Taehyung when he noticed the older's grasp got a little tighter on him.  Upon looking at the teary eyes on Taehyung, the younger know the older must have been overthinking again so he moved closer and wiped off the drops of tears before kissing Tae on the lips and mouthed "I love you."

Namjin who were sitting right across the couple secretly looked at each other and smiled in pride feeling super joyful that their Taehyung finally is with someone who loves him more than them perhaps.

The day ended with goodbyes at the airport where all of them sent off Jungkook's parents after a successful discussion about the merging. They have scheduled to go public about this a month from now after a proper arrangement.

Once again, Taehyung and Jungkook rode back to Jungkook's place where the younger intended to make it their cozy little space and spent the night loving each other endlessly until both became breathless and filling the night air with moans.
