Chapter Fourteen: LITERALLY NOBODY'S POV
Roman led Virgil through the woods, hardly risking a touch between him and his long-time crush. To be honest, Virgil intimidated Roman a little bit and the theater boy didn't want to admit it.
Roman was extremely proud of himself when he got Virgil to blush, doing an internalized happy dance. Virgil was timid, but absolutely beautiful, even if he didn't think so. Virgil was scared of the woods so he stayed moderately close to Roman the whole way through the woods, hardly willing to make eye contact with Roman.
When Roman finally led Virgil into the wide clearing he had set up, Virgil gasped a little.
In Virgil's opinion, the set up was absolutely perfect and artistic.
There was a plaid blanket spread out over some space and some mason jars with candles in them waiting, lit up. The mason jars were painted so that light shined through in patterns. The night sky shone with stars and the moon was round and bright.
"Welcome to the Candle-lit Dinner under the Stars, Virgil." Roman said as he sat down, waiting for the other to sit.
