Chapter Three: Love 'e' dub 'e'-A Few Days Later

"Faster," ordered my Captor, and I felt a familiar, dreaded, tingle down my spine, causing my arms and legs to speed up.
Hating how my body listened to him without question, I grind my teeth. I felt sweat slide down my back—my shirt sticking to my skin—while I slashed my sword in the air. "If you want me to go faster, then why don't you let me take a break? I've been going on for hours—literally hours; you forced me to train at dawn, and now it's almost sundown—I need a break some time soon... unlike you I am human."
"That's a shame. And too bad... well, too for you," said my captor, unpityingly. "Now... faster."
A shiver danced through my spine as my body struggled to keep up with his commands. I raised my sword around and over my head, slicing through the dummy in front of me. I imagine the dummy to be the creature commanding my body, and that thought made me smile.
    "Why are you smiling?"
"Why aren't you?" I questioned, trying to act as innocent as can be—even though I'm mocking him.
"Tell me why you're smiling. Now!"
I grind my teeth down, hard, as I could—if I bite down even more, I will most likely break my jaw—as I attempted to fight against the tingle racing down my spine. Key word: attempted. I actually last a minute before my traitorous mouth turned me in.
"I-I—" I stopped myself from finishing that sentence by clamming my jaw down.
"Yes? Tell me." More force this time.
"I-I-I wa-was—" 'No! Stop it! Don't listen to him!' I begged... myself. Apparently my words fell on deaf ears, because I heard myself say, "I-I wa-was thi-thin-thinking th-that the dum-dummy was you, and I was glad at that." 'Traitor!'
    "That's shameful."
"Tell me about it," I muttered; the tingling stopped. 'Now he's going to tell me what my punishment is, and I'm going to have to suffer through it.'
"Guess I have to use different methods on you."
'Here it comes.' And I brace myself for the pain.
And before I could shut the world out—something I learned how to do during the whipping—I heard my torturer say something that was almost unheard of, "But that will have to wait until later on."
I turned to the right slightly, to face it head on. "What?" I inquired, surprised.
I swear, if I could see its face, the thing would scowling at me right now. "You heard me," snapped the creature.
    "You're actually letting me go?"
If I could see his face, I'm sure he'll be frowning—or still scowling—expect it's covered by a mask.
"I have business to attend to," said the monster, flatly.
    "What type of business?"
It always goes some place—seemingly pure randomness—for a few days to a couple of weeks. And most of the times it's more short tempered than it usually is. Other times—rarely—it is more... kind. If that could exist with my captor. But I have noticed that it always comes back, each time that it goes, with eyes more red—or rather more red splatters than before.
    "Where are you going?"
It never tells me. Ever. Even though it has been doing it for years. Never got a peep out of it though—always kept to itself.
"That's none of your concern, now it is?" snarled the brute, about to leave.
I stopped it from going by arguing, "Actually I think it is."
The red-eyed beast nocked its head to the side. "Too bad no one cares about what you think." And it was suddenly at the doorframe in a blink of an eye. "I'll send someone up." My overseer left before I could say something smart mouthy.

It must've been the adrenaline pumping through my veins, that kept me upright, because I immediately felt weak afterwards and I collapsed on the ground.
    So dizzy.
    So weak.
I could hardly even raise my head above the ground. Barely a inch off of the ground.
And out of the blue, a face appeared before mine.
    A girl.
'I haven't seen a female in... ten years, I think. Why is there one standing in front of me right now?' I thought, groggily.
Her face looks like that of a angel. Her emerald eyes are gorgeous. Her curly, black hair is perfect. Her gentle face seemed... concerned. I don't know the last time—oh, wait, it was ten years ago. And she seem so thin for one so tall.
I tried to say something to her, but she told me, "Shh. It's alright." And she placed a finger onto my lips. I think my heart stopped a beat at her touch. "Now," grabbing onto my arms, and pulling me to my feet, "Let's get you off to bed."
'A bed sounds nice right now. I really want to sleep.'
I tried to help her, but I was mostly just shuffling my feet, and she ended up half carrying and half dragging me down to my cell.
I liked her because she didn't just dumped me there, she tried to make sure I was comfortable—even offer me a blanket—and she left the chains off.
Plus, she gave me a kiss on the forehead, making me smile for once. A genuine smile.
But I was out like a light once my eyes closed, so I wasn't able to return the kiss right then and there. A shame really. At least I will be having good dreams tonight instead of nightmares.
