"Get up, you filthy animal!" I heard a brute yell. A second later, I felt pain in my side; on my rib cage. I groaned. "Get up! Don't make me ask again!" And the person kicked me again.
Slowly, I raised my head from the forest floor, the leaves beneath me crunching, to see a burning fire in front of me. It hurts my eyes so badly that I had to look away. Then I felt pain on the side of my face, and I realized that I had been slapped.
"Look at me when I'm talking to you!" yelled the brute, to the side of me.
I turned my head to see what seems to be my worst nightmare: the monster that killed my parents. Except for the eyes. The eyes were different. They were human, but, at the same time, they were not human. The pupil was black, and huge. The iris were completely white; it looked like blood was running out of the pupil and splattering the iris with the blood. It was both fascinating and disturbing. The creature didn't even seem to breathe.
The creature laughed in my face. "See? That wasn't so hard, now was it?" said the monster, mockingly.
I glared at him, terrified, but defiance. I tried to stand, but my legs and wrists were bound. I squirmed as best as my tiny body could squirm, but it was no use; I couldn't even move an inch. I stopped all of the sudden. I was helpless, and it felt useless to fight. It was absolutely useless to fight.
The inhuman thing in front of me, laughed in my face. It sounded like nails on a chalkboard. "You know it's useless, yes?" The evil thing smirked, as if he was glad about that. "Well that is good. You have learned that it is useless to fight against us. Hopefully you will remember that."
Then the beast turned away from me; I couldn't even hear the leaves crunching beneath it. I couldn't hear where it was going. And I felt something grab my legs; I twist the bottom half of my body, trying to get the thing off of me. It grabbed ahold of me with of its hands. I screamed as loud as I could; trying to squirm away from the monstrosity. It pinned my legs like they were sticks. I screamed again; sobbing this time. Crying into my forearms' sleeves. The leaves and sticks in my face.
I felt something tighten around my ankles, and I heard the fiend say, sounding annoyed, "Oh, hush! There's no need for that. And it's not like anyone will be able to hear you."
That made me cry even harder. I wept for everything that I had lost. For my parents, my house, the few friends I had; everything. Everything that this mutant has taken away from me.
I heard the savage laugh at me; and walk around me to the front. I lifted my head to see the barbarian smirking; smiling wickedly, smiling down at me. I glared at him with hate; wanting to punch him in the face so badly. I wanted him to feel my pain.
It laughed again at me, saying, "It looks like you are finally learning." It crouched down in front of me, and leaning towards me until its lips nearly touched my ear; the leaves beneath it didn't even make a sound, like it wasn't even there. "You are learning that we won't ever care about how you feel. I don't care if you are in pain, or hate me like no other. Which I suspect that you hate me with a passion. Learn to deal with it." The monstrosity in front of me, leaned back up, and stood up. "Now stand up. I lengthen the chains around your ankles, so you can walk, but any funny business and you will not have that sort of freedom again." With that it clocked its head to the side. "Understand?"
I nodded my head, thinking, 'I understand that I hate you so badly. And I wish you would die.'
"Up!" The thing ordered again. This time I listened and I barely managed to stand up. The leaves beneath me crunched as I stood. "There you go! Now it's time to go! We wasted to much time already." It ordered me forward and I walked, more of limping and tripping over the chains around my feet.

Traveling through the forest is weary; and the chains around my ankles didn't help at all. I crumbled to my knees, exhausted, and I just laid there. The leaves crunched beneath me. 'I can't go any further,' I thought. 'It would kill me if I walk anymore.'
"Get up!" ordered the freak of nature in front of me, none to kindly. "We got to be there before dark, and I don't want to be late because of you being lazy!"
I groaned, trying to push myself up, but I was too tired, and my body rebelled. I pulled myself up off of the ground a few inches, but, a second later, I collapsed to the ground.
I heard the beast come up to me, and it kicked me in the side. I groaned. It kicked me again, yelling, "I order you to get up! Now get up! Stand up and walk, or it will be the last thing you will do!"
I, some how, managed to raise my head to glare at the villain in front of me. I glowered at it, saying, "If I walk anymore, then it will kill me."
The lusus naturae crouched down in front of me. The freak of nature stared down at me, as if I was a interesting insect or a fascinating animal that needs to be studied. And a split second later, I felt a flare of pain in my cheek.
'The thing slapped me!' I realized. 'It slapped me!'
"That should teach you not to be so rude." And the brute grabbed me by my shirt, and yanked me to my feet. "Now walk!" The monster let go of my shirt, and I crumbled to my knees again. The fiend grabbed my shirt again and pulled me up like a rag doll. It hold onto the chain connected to the chain on my wrists; forcing me to walk.

I learned how to sleepwalk. I was so tired that I fell asleep on my feet, but I get on walking. I realized that once I woke up; I was still walking when I woke up.
My feet hurt so bad that I swear that they were bleeding; not like the creature in front of me would let me stop and take care of them.
I dragged my feet through the dirt; it was more of the beast dragging me, but I still had to make myself follow the rest of my body.
Thump!
Thump!
Thump!
Went my feet on the ground. It was the only conscious thing I was aware of.
Thump!
Thump!
Thump!
That word drawn me to sleep.
I'm underwater, but I seemed to be breathing just fine. I'm floating in the water; just drifting in the water. It was like I grown gills and I'm now a fish man.
Suddenly, without any warning of any kind, I stopped breathing. I just couldn't breathe anymore. Air wasn't going into my lungs anymore.
I gasped, holding onto my throat. I squirmed like a worm, or a fish out of water; or a human in water. I struggle in the water, trying to get to the top; needing air. I was always almost to the top, but it seemed like something was holding me down. I looked down and saw a chain on my ankle, holding me down, and the chain was locked onto the rocks below.
My lungs hurt; they feel like they are going to burst. I can't breathe and I need to breathe. I no longer want to breathe, I need to breathe. And like it was reading my mind, my lungs collapsed and I opened my mouth and sucked in sea water. My body automatically attempted to cough it out, which ends up getting more salt water into my mouth and into my lungs.
Black spots began to appear before my eyes. Red spots began to form. My movements began to slow. My struggles soften; weakening from the result of no air. And just as I was about to black out, I saw a person in the distance, swimming towards me. That was all I saw before everything went black.
I gasped; perceiving that I wasn't dead, and that it was just a dream. 'Just a dream,' I told myself. I noticed that the disgusting thing was watching me with a smirk on its face. And I also registered that I was no longer in a forest, but in a desert. 'How and I in a desert? How long was I asleep for?' The sand blew around me, almost getting into my eyes.
"Have a good nap?" asked the brute, mockingly, with a smirk on its face. I was going to glare at it, but I didn't have the energy to. Without a response from me, the savage said, "Good. Because we are almost there."
An, what seems like out of nowhere, entire city seems to appear. It seems to just sprout out of the barren ground. From afar it looks like a mountain that is reaching towards the sky; almost touching it. But as I neared it, I learned that it was not true; it only appeared to touch the sky. The sand surrounding the city is red, and it looks like it could sink into the sand at any minute now. Wind and sand was blowing everywhere. There are a bunch of desert trees all around the city. The city itself has a Arabic look with its dome top and design.
"Hurry up, boy! Pick up the pace, unless you want to be catches in a sandstorm!" I heard the monstrosity yell in front of me; raising its voice so I could hear it. Even though it was yelling, I could barely hear it.
The sand was getting into my clothes; getting into places where sand should not go. The sand burn like the sun burning down on me.
I felt something yank on my chain, and I realized that it was the brute trying to get me to go faster. But I can't go faster; my body refuses to go any faster than it is going. I couldn't walk quicker, even if I wanted to.
The sand managed to find its way into my eyes, and it burned like lemon juice on a paper cut. Small and irritating. The sand in my eyes burned so bad that I could hardly even keep them open.
The sand blurred my vision so much that I hardly even noticed that I was passing through the city now. I could only see bits and pieces of the city. I saw pieces of the bridges and the houses that look like barracks. The sand causes my eyes to blink repeatedly; so much that I could hardy even tell if they were open or not.
The wind swish around, causing the sand to move at an even more alarming rate. The wind numbed my fingers, toes, and everything to the point where I couldn't even feel them.
"Boy!" I heard the monstrosity yell at me, just before everything went black.
A/N: Yes, I know. Two blackouts; two chapters. I wanted to put this up sooner rather than later.
