(Sky's POV)

Slash. Bang. Clank.

We had been fighting for what felt like hours. I could tell the rest of our feeble group was growing tired. Liz, who had been fighting with such intensity at the beginning, was now collapsed and pulled off to the side. Ian and Jason were still fighting, but even with their more experience and higher stamina, they were starting to look defeated. We hadn't been able to slash off any more of his tentacles, but we did manage to cut them and make them too painful to use.

"Tired yet, you fools?" Squidlox sneered, his deep blue eyes blazing with an icy fire. I looked away.

"Tsk tsk. Not this again Sky. It's rude to not look at your friend." Squidlox taunted. I clenched my fist.

"That serum that they gave to you must've destroyed your brain as well Squidlox, because you are not Ty. You will never be my friend." I growled.

I suddenly felt a surge of anger and strength, and It took only a matter of seconds, and before Squidlox could fathom what had just happened, another one of his tentacles was now laying on the ground. He screamed with fierce intensity, slightly staggering from the pain. I regretfully smiled with a pure sense of joy.

"Oh, your gonna pay for that Sky." Squidlox screamed, furious. He lunged at Sky, now retreating to hand-you-hand combat with his remaining tentacles. I fought back, but he was just as strong in hand-to-hand combat as he was sword fighting. He managed to rip the sword out of my hands, but not before I was able to get some nasty scratches on him. The sword was thrown across the room.

I glanced nervously at Squidlox, then to the sword. I then made the stupid mistake of trying to get it back. I leaped forward, but Squidlox managed to grab my ankle and drag me back towards him. He dangled me upside down, shaking me violently. He laughing maliciously.

"Oh Sky, you have NO idea how fun this is right now."

I tried to snap back a comeback, but the shaking had left me dazed and unable to make words roll off my tongue.

"Sky!"

I managed to look around Squidlox's waist, and saw Jason running up behind Squidlox. He started up his jetpack, and flew over Squidlox, swinging with a sword. Squidlox hissed loudly.

"You pathetic boys! Your toying around with my patience. Perhaps I should just kill myself now, and this little battle will be over hm?" Squidlox sneered. Jason stopped swinging, and treaded the air. Ian stared at Squidlox, and I gawked.

"What are you saying!" I hollered. Squidlox laughed. He dropped me to the ground, making me hit my head on the ground. I sat up, rubbing my head. I could already feel a large bump forming.

"You all surely couldn't have been more näive than I originally thought? You're saying that you didn't know that Ty would die if I was killed?" He said, smiling evilly. "If so, you all are idiots."

"No. We unfortunately knew that." Jason said, flying closer to the ground.
"But why would you kill yourself. That's just idiotic!"

Squidlox smiled. An eerie smile that would make your skin crawl. He stared at me and Jason for a few moments, before he made a rapid dash to my sword that he had earlier thrown.

"Stop him!" I screamed, jumping to my feet and chasing after him.

No, he can't get that sword! He'll-He wants to... He will...he's gonna kill himself!

Squidlox was only a few feet away from the sword. His tentacles were now stretched out, ready to grab the sword. In a frantic leap, I jumped at him, and landed on his back. I wrestled him to the ground, pushing his face into the dirt and punching him.

Squidlox squirmed underneath me. He thrashed his head and kicked his legs, but Ian and Jason had quickly gotten to my sides and helped me tie Squidlox up.

"Fools, you can't contain me. And you can't do anything to me either, because if you do, you'll just kill Ty." He cackled.

I glared at Squidlox, but said nothing. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see something moving. I turned my head, and saw Seto, holding my sword. I smiled.

"Hey Seto! Did you sort out that other Sorcerer dude?" I asked.

Seto said nothing. He was looking at the sword, his arms frantically shaking. He walked closer to Squidlox, but not close enough to where Squidlox could hurt him. Squidlox hissed at him. He glanced over at Squidlox, and then back down at the sword. He glanced back at Squidlox, and raised the sword.

"Seto? What are you-"

I stood cold, my body in shock. I looked down slowly, and saw a long sword buried into my torso. I didn't say anything, my body felt so numb, and my mind felt fuzzy. I thought I heard Ian or Jason or even Liz yell out.

But it all went black before I was able to ask them to repeat what they said.
