(Isabella's POV)

Fear is the one thing I am all too familiar with at this moment. It's a feeling that has engulfed me and clung to me with a cold, unrelenting grip. Every second that goes by, my head is filled with a million worrying ideas, making me feel even more worried. Its presence is always there, marked by the usual tightness in my chest and the acceleration of my heartbeat. I try to ignore the fear, but it stays with me and clouds my judgment in everything I do. The weight of fear is nearly overwhelming at this precise time since it feels like the culmination of all my worries.

"Put me down" I spoke not having the strength to yell at him any longer, a minute later he did as I asked putting me down in the passenger seat of Jeremiah's truck.

"We can't leave in Jeremiah's truck. How are they going to get home?"

"They'll figure it out" he said dismissively running over to the driver's side. "What was that in there Zach?" I questioned as soon as he closed the door behind him, the silence engulfed us as he kept looking ahead in silence, not sparing a glance my way.

"Zach, answer me" It's not Ezra's wellbeing I'm currently worried about maybe a few hours before I would have been but right now I need to figure out what Zach knows.

"I warned you before, you chose to ignore me. He got the brunt end of that deal" I would have sworn my open mouth hit the doors to hell at his blunt response.

"And what deal is that exactly?"

His head snapped to mine, his face set on edge but his eyes showed promise "You're mine Isabella, you've been mine since the first day I saw you on that balcony" I shook my head at his words, turning away from him. I wasn't ready to allow him to see the pain and vulnerability in my eyes not when there's a possibility that he knows who I am.

"Don't look away from me" I didn't respond nor did I look at him, my heart pounded heavily in my chest, I can't be near him not when he has the power to break whatever I built.

I grabbed the door handle ready to make my exit, "Isabella please don't. Look at me" and I did against my better judgment I looked at him, the vulnerability in his eyes had the tears I tried so hard to fight off make their way down my face.

"I have never been vulnerable with anyone, Isabella—not with my family, my friends, or anyone else. That changed when I met you. Everyone views me as someone not to be messed with, a person no one dares to challenge. This became even more true when I became the enforcer for the club, bolstered by its name and reputation, making me feel invincible. But you, Isabella, are different. You challenge me, you're not afraid of me, and you push me to be my true self, not the Alpha man everyone else sees."

My heart broke and repaired itself at his words, in that moment every thought I had about him playing me flew out the window. "What are you trying to say Zach?" I spoke gripping his hand harder. He took a breath before looking back at me "I'm saying be mine Bella. Go on a date with me."

A sob broke through me "I'm yours Zach" I replied reaching out for a hug. He grinned pulling me towards him until I was sitting on his lap facing him.

"You're mine" he repeated.

"I can't believe you're mine" he chuckled through his words, "All mine" he reached up capturing my lips in his. I moaned deepening the kiss to which he responded with a roll of his hips making me feel every part of him.

"We're not having sex in the car Zach" he chuckled at my words, "That doesn't mean I can't ravish you" I broke the kiss looking at him.

"There's something you should know" I spoke trying hard not to moan as he continued to kiss down my neck.

"I'm a virgin" his lips stilled on my neck, he pulled back to look at me "You've never been with anyone else?" I shook my head feeling my face redden at his words.

"That's so fucking sexy baby girl, you're going to be only mine, I'm going to be your first and only"

"If this is going to work, I need to know that you're only mine as well, I can't be the ignorant girlfriend you go out with whilst you fuck other girls on the side. I need to know that you're my one and only"

"I'm yours baby girl, there's no one else. It's just us"
