Lavender

Evan and Jonathan had so much in common; they both loved video games, they both loved music, but then again who didn't? Jonathan was having homemade stromboli for dinner.

"My mother made this all the time when I was younger." He smiled as he took off his dark blue hoodie. This exposed his arms, that Evan was drooling over. The Asian shook his head out of this weird trance. Jonathan reaches into the small fridge he had and pulled out dough he had previously made the night before for this dinner. Jonathan randomly chuckles at a thought of his own, "Kinda a bad day to wear a white t-shirt. Especially using pizza sauce."

Watching Jonathan roll out the dough snapped something in Evan. That thing he was starting to feel earlier was getting the best of him. It was a warming feeling, a feeling of love, but also a feeling of lust, desire. Jonathan's voice snaps Evan out of his trance, "Could you continue rolling this dough? I'm gonna put on some music." Jonathan said "music" in a funny way, a way Evan has heard many times before. Those many times were muffled by an awful microphone. His voice sounded totally different in person; if he was that person.

Evan was rolling the dough while Jonathan disappeared for a while. Suddenly soft indie music was playing and a sweet aroma of a certain herb floated in the room. Jonathan walks back over to the kitchen with a small brown stick with a tiny flame at the end of it.

"What is that?"

Jonathan chuckles at Evan's question, "Lavender, it's my favorite smell and it's very calming."

That explained why Jonathan smelled so good... This can't be Delirious; the thought finally hits Evan. He's too calming and like hella aesthetic. What questions could Evan ask to figure out if his boss was his best friend?

Do you like teddy bears?

How about Fortnite?

Or...

"Hey, we should watch a movie with dinner." Evan offered. Jonathan rolls a separate piece of dough. He looks up at Evan and smiles, "Sure. What kind?"

"Horror."

"Oh, I love your taste in film." Too fucking proper; another thought of Evan's. Jonathan spreads the sauce out onto his dough. Evan grabs it from him and clumsy ol' Evan drops it. The glass jar shatters and the sauce splatters everywhere. The brown eyes spot every piece of red on the perfectly white t-shirt.

"Oh no! Delirious I'm so sorry-"

"Delirious?" This name shocks Jonathan.

"No, I'm sorry. It's one of my internet friends. You're sorta sound like him; without the mic." Evan's face is almost as red as the sauce all over his friend.

"Evan, it's okay. Here-" Jonathan stops his friend from grabbing tons of papers towels to clean the kitchen and his friend. The pale hand grasps the tan wrist; their eyes lock. Evan's hand drops from the towels.

"Why don't you find more sauce? I'll go get changed. Okay? And we'll both clean up the mess."

Evan nods at the taller man's orders. Jonathan rips off his shirt before getting into his "bedroom" area. Evan gets a quick glance of a tattoo on his right hip. The brown eyes search for the sauce instead of gawking at the body of his boss.

Jonathan searches his closest quickly. He pushes the "VanossGaming" shirt to the way back. With a huge smirk on his face, he finds a graphic tee with David Bowie on it.

Evan has put the stromboli in the oven. He'd already found the sauce and had put it on.

"So, what movie are you looking to watch?" Jonathan squats down and opens the shelves under his T.V. Evan walks over and sits down beside him.

"How about a Friday the 13th marathon?"

"You wanna stay that late?"

"Mind if I crash?"

"I mean," Jonathan's taken aback by Evan's decision, "sure, this couch is a fold out bed."

"Sweet." Evan smiles, getting a jittery feeling. Little does he know; Jonathan has the same feeling brewing.

The oven dings as Evan pops the disk out of its case and into the Sony DVD Player. Jonathan stands up and literally walks two feet to the kitchen. He grabs the stromboli; the warm smell of lavender is suffocated by the smell of melted cheese and pepperonis.

"Here, Evan, while I get these babies on a plate can you turn that first switch off and then hit the second switch?"

Evan nods and wonders what the second switch does. He makes his way over to the front door and does as Jonathan told. The studio goes dark for a split second and then Evan hits the second switch. Beautiful party lights illuminate the whole studio, but mainly in the living room. The small orbs of light shine in the dark eyes of Evan. His smile makes everything better. While he stands there loving the lights, Jonathan gets his polaroid and takes a quick picture. It comes out wonderfully; Jonathan can't help but giggle joyously at the photo.

Finally, they both get comfortable on the couch as the previews start. Jonathan has control of the remotes and fast forwards it. They're both chomping down on their deliciously made strombolis.

Another hint for Detective BatOwl; he does like horror related things.

The couch is a little small, so Evan's feet are touching Jonathan's hips. They're on the third part of the series and Evan has fallen asleep. His head is rolled back, which comes to Jonathan's attention; he's probably uncomfortable. Jonathan turns off the movie and easily lifts Evan; careful not wake him. He scrambles to his bedroom and sets him down easily. Jonathan will just have to sleep on the fold out. Evan's eyes flutter open and he gets a quick glimpse of Jonathan setting him down. Evan smiles falling asleep again with the wonderful smell of lavender lurking on his skin from Jonathan.
