Cameras flash in my face as reporters crowd me. Questions upon questions flood my ears but I don't get the chance to answer any of them.

"Where were you?"

"Is it true that you were kidnapped?"

"Do you know who took you?"

"What happened to you while you were being held captive?"

"SHUT IT!" I shout, making all of them go silent.

"Yes, I was kidnapped. Yes, I know who took me. No, I don't know where I was. No, I'm not telling you what happened," I say firmly, "now leave me alone."

"Please could you answer a few more questions?"

"Were you tortured?"

"Were you raped?"

"Is the person that took you back in the city?"

"Did you escape or did they let you go?"

I clench my hand into a fist, anger boiling in me.

Why must they be so damn nosey?

Loki's POV
I watch the news with the rest of the team, y/n's face plastered on every channel.

They bombard her with questions, and I can see her anger rise.

"Why won't she say who took her?" Clint asks more to himself.

"Because she's scared they'll come after her again if she does probably," Natasha says, staring at the screen.

I watch as y/n eyes close as she balls her hand into a fist.

I'm so sorry, my love.

"I said," her eyes open and they look like her sister's, "leave me alone!"

Suddenly the camera man is blown back along with the rest of the crowd as y/n stands. If looks could kill, there would be at least two dozen deaths right now.

"Holy shit," Sam's jaw drops along with everyone else's, including my own.

"Guess her mom wasn't playing," Tony mutters.

Y/n turns away from the camera and I swear on my grandfather's grave, I could see whisps of black follow in her wake.

Norse what have I done?

"I knew you had something to do with it."

My eyes shoot to the witch.

Shit, I let my guard down.

Yes, but I didn't mean for this to happen. I took her home to keep her safe.

"Why did you take her?"

I show her the memories of when I first saw y/n, to when I decided to take her, to bits and pieces of while I had her with me, leaving out the intimate parts, to Minsela and what she told me.

"You love her," her gaze softens, "and she's carrying your child."

Yes, and I don't know what else to do to save her.

"We need to talk. Somewhere without everyone else here."

I nod in agreement.

Meet me in the library.

She nods back and I get up walking towards my room. I wait until I'm out of sight to teleport to the library and wait for the witch.

A few moments pass before the door opens and she enters.

"So she's a witch and a demon and her father and sister are trying to use her for something," she starts off.

"Yes, but I don't know what," I confirm, "but she told me to kill the child because it was in their way."

"So naturally she needs to keep it," she nods, "that keeps her safe for at least the next eight to mine months depending on how far along she is."

"She would have notice she wasn't menstruating if had been more than a few weeks," I conclude, "unless she wasn't paying attention."

"Or her menstruation cycle is different being what she is," the witch adds.

"True."

"Why didn't you think this through?"

"What?"

"You took her, had unprotected sex and didn't think about the possibility of her getting pregnant," she scolds, "I thought you were smart enough to remember basic sexual reproduction facts."

I sigh in defeat.

"I don't know," I lower my head, "I went mad, I wanted her and she refused me and..."

"Maybe you should have tried to talk to her like a normal person and let her get to know you before you just tell her that she's going with you," she says, sarcasm dripping from her words, "then maybe you could have gotten to be with her the proper way. Then maybe we wouldn't be in this mess."

Golden sparks begin to loop in a circle beside us.

Oh gods.

Doctor Stephen Strange emerges from it looking very pissed.

"You are a idiot."

I already know who he's speaking to.

"I thought you were fighting an all powerful demon," the witch says confused.

"I was until he backed off and said that the God of Mischief had already presented him with a better opportunity to over throw our dimension," he narrows his eyes at me.

"Wait are you talking about y/n?" I asks.

"Yeah, the thing I was fighting," he raises his brows I sarcasm, "was her dad."

"Oh sweet lord," the witch begins to rub her temples, "of course it was."

"You just doomed our entire dimension because you have no impulse control."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean for any of this to happen," I sit on one of the chairs, head in hands as my elbows rest on my knees, "I just couldn't watch her suffer the way she was. And walking away was the hardest thing I've ever had to do."

I can see a shadow kneel in front of me and a hand goes to my shoulder.

"I know you love her, and I know it's hard to watch the people you love be hurt," Strange says softly, "but you should have never done what you did. Y/n was the door, lock and key for them to get to our dimension, and because you pulled her way from the wards she was under, you opened that door for them, and it's too late to close it."

If only I had never taken her. If only I had done how Wanda said I should have. If only I could go back and change it.

I remove my hands my gaze on the floor before I begin to raise it. It stops on the medallion around Strange's neck.

Go back and change it.

Go back.

"Loki, what are you thinking?" Wanda asks, trying to penetrate my mental walls.

My eyes stay glued on the medallion.

"Loki no!"

I yank it from Strange's neck and vanish back to my room.

I've seen the spell a hundred times over, I know what to do.

I drape it on my neck and open the eye.

Go back and fix everything.

But I would lose my child.

And what if y/n will not have me.

But the world is at stake. Y/n's life is at stake.

I have to do this.

I have to fix this.

I begin to turn back time just as a ring of golden starks starts to appear.

I go back.

I see the news playing in reverse. I take y/n back to the field. I see Minsela. I watch as I make love to y/n throughout the mansion. I return to the tower where I was being suspected, where her mother begged for our help.

I watch the last four months turn back to the night I took her and stop it.

I'm in her room again.

I look at her sleeping figure and take a step forward, the boards creaking underfoot.

Shit that's what woke her last time.

I freeze and cast an invisibility illusion on to my figure so that she cannot see me as she stirs and sits up.

"Hello?" She asks sleepily, looking about her room. He gaze stops and seems to look right at me.

Her door opens and her mother peeks her head in.

"Is everything alright?" She asks sweetly.

"I thought I heard something," she smiles at her mother, "It must have been you coming up the stairs."

"Oh, sorry I woke you."

"It's alright," she lays back down, "good night."

"Good night, sweetheart," she closes the door and continues on her way.

I wait until I hear y/n's breathing even out before silently continue my way to her bedside.

She no longer knows me.

I can start over.
A clean slate.
And her father can't destroy her world.

"I promise, my love," I whisper, "I will protect you this time."

End
But now did Loki fix everything?
Or just fuck it up more?
