Amelia

1 week later...

"Ana come on I'm tired can't we just sit somewhere for god's shake." I complained as I kept walking behind her with shopping bags in my hands trying desperately to keep up with her. I should have never accepted to come with her to the mall.

"Oh please stop acting like a whiny little kid Amelia." she said playfully winking at me. I groaned angrily and walked with her inside, yet, another store.

"I'm tired we've been walking around for almost 3 hours." I said again and she rolled her eyes at me.

"Ok I promise we'll only see this store and then we are going to sit." she said without looking at me but focusing her eyes on the many clothes on the hangers.

"Fine." I said and smiled at her.I had really missed this,going shopping with her and me complaining all the time. I'm not the type to go shopping often actually I hate it I always get tired and most of the times I don't get anything. Today for example Ana is the only one who bought something- a lot I may say- and here I am holding her bags.

"Look at this one." she exclaimed with excitement and turned around holding a short dress in her hands. It was dark blue with one sleeve and a bit short for my liking,quite simple with no much details but it kinda looked pretty.

"Yeah it's nice." I simply said shrugging my shoulders .

"It would look perfect on you go and try it on." she said throwing it in my arms and pushing me towards the fitting rooms.

"What no!It's way too short for me." I told her raising my voice a bit as my blue eyes widened.

"Stop and go try it on.You need to wear something good for tomorrow."

"Tomorrow?" I questioned and stopped turning back around to face her.She ran a hand through her shoulder length blonde hair and sighed.

"I didn't tell you right?" she asked looking at me apologetically with her grey eyes.

"Erm... no?" I said confused.

"We are going to a club to kind of celebrate that you are back and before you start shouting it was Marcus' idea." she said and shut her eyes waiting for me to yell at her but I didn't instead I hugged her. She was taken aback by my action though.

"What no yelling? "

"No yelling. I love you guys so much but I really don't want to go to a club can't we just stay at home, watch a film maybe?" I said.

"Come on it's going to be fun and if it's about last time don't worry I'm not going to get drunk and I'll not leave you alone." she said practically begging me.

"God fine." I finally said and a big grin appeared on her face.

"Now go." she said and pushed me. I headed over to the fitting rooms and got inside of one closing the curtain behind me.I changed quickly from my t-shirt and jeans and threw on the dress. I pulled it down a bit trying to cover as much as I could but it was no use the dress was short and it reached mid thigh but other than that I was really surprised to see that it looked really good on me. It hugged my curves perfectly and the one sleeve added a more rock look to it. I smiled as I looked at my reflection on the mirror and then walked outside and approached Ana who was sitting on a chair waiting for me. I cleared my throat and she looked up at me her mouth opening as she did that.

"Oh my lord." she shouted standing up.

"Shh don't shout like that in here." I told her covering her mouth with my hand quickly.

"It looks amazing on you." she said more calmly this time.

"Yeah I like it too." I said running my hands on the soft material.

"You should totally get it." she said and I nodded my head with a smile.

"Go change and come back quickly." I walked away and got in my dressing room again and just when I was about to take the dress off I heard my phone ringing. I frowned and took it from my jean's pocket opening it. It was a message from Harry. A big smile made its way up to my face at the sight of his name and I opened it fast.

Why did you leave? I was really enjoying the view that dress looks sexy on you ; )

I bit my lip as I read the message again.What? Is he here? I changed really quickly and ran out ,where Ana was, looking around me and trying to spot the mop of curly hair in the crowded store. But he wasn't here.

"Are you alright?" Ana asked and I looked at her.

"Yeah let's go to pay for it." I said with a smile taking her hand and walking away.

"Finally I get to sit." I said letting the bags fall to the ground and sitting on a chair in the small cafe of the mall.

"Happy?" Ana asked getting a sit too and giving me an sarcastic look.

"Very." I said with a smile.The waitress came soon and took our orders and then I was left again alone with Ana.

"So-" she started to say but I raised one finger in the air stopping her as I felt my phone vibrating again.

"Sorry." I apologised and took it in my hand seeing that it was a message from Harry.

Meet me tonight? I couldn't stay any longer there ;) love u babe.

A big grin appeared on my face and I bit my lip quickly to stop it. This boy is going to get me in so much trouble. I texted a quick reply to his message and put my phone back in my pocket. I looked up at Ana who was looking at me with narrowed eyes and I smiled at her innocently.

"What?" I asked her as the waitress came with our coffees.

"You gonna tell me.Who was it Amelia?" she asked me with a smirk playing on her face and I felt my cheeks burning with embarrassment.

"N-no one just mum." I replied with a low voice taking a sip from my coffee.

"Yeah right." she said rolling her eyes obviously not buying it.

"Believe whatever you want.Where is Marcus anyway he said he would come." I asked her changing the subject.

"About that I wanted to talk to you before he comes."

"What is it you're scaring me." I said truthfully I didn't like it when she started her sentences like this, with this tone.

"I'll tell you but please don't tell Marcus anything. "

"Okay but speak." I rushed her.

"I overheard Marcus talking with a friend when...you were kidnapped...and he told him that h-he liked you a lot not in a friendly way. To be honest he was really miserable these two months." she said and my eyes widened immediately in shock. What he likes me?

"Are you serious? We are best friends he's like my brother."

"Amelia I know what I heard I told you just because I think you should know and take care of things. Even though it wouldn't be a bad idea if you two got together." she said smiling.

"What?" I exclaimed angrily.

"Unless there is someone else." she said raising her eyebrow.

"N-no no there's no one but-" I was cut off by a voice calling my name in the distance.

"Amelia." Marcus called and my lips parted as I looked at Ana bewildered. He was here. I really don't want to see him now not after this and not until I figure out a way to deal with it anyways. I stood up awkwardly and turned around to face him with a fake smile playing on my lips.

"Oh my god Amelia I missed you so much." he said and took me in his arms as he left a small kiss on my cheek. I hugged him back without saying anything.

"How are you? I know I should have visited you earlier but-"

"It's okay Marcus." I reassured him.He took of his black ray bans revealing his light blue eyes and smiled at me taking a seat next to Ana who till now was staying silent. I sat down too not sure of what to do or say. Why did she have to tell me? Don't get me wrong Marcus is a handsome guy any girl would die to be with him but that's not the case with me, he is my friend and nothing more.

"You're late again." Ana told him annoyed and he chuckled shaking his head lightly.

"Well,hello to you too." he told her and she rolled her eyes at him,a habit of hers.

"Hello." she said with a cold tone making me laugh a bit but that didn't change my unease.I felt uncomfortable being around Marcus now that I know. I have to leave and leave fast.

"I'm really sorry but...but I have to go." I said and stood up a bit clumsily.

"But I just got here." Marcus said with a pout on his face and I bit my lip trying to come up with something to say.

"I promised mum to help her with something." yeah way to go Amelia.

"I'll take you then." he said and stood up walking to my side.

"Bye." Ana said with a smile on her face and I waved at her weakly sending her a death glare.She stuck her tongue out at me playfully and waved too.

To say that the drive home was awkward would be the least it was much worse. We only talked two times and that's it. I'm sure he sensed that something was off but didn't question it and I was glad about that.What was I supposed to tell him 'oh you know Ana told me that you like me but I don't.' that would be awful.

"Thank you for bringing me." I told him with a genuine smile which he returned back instantly. We were both standing in front of my house's door and I didn't know what to do, get in or talk to him?He seemed nervous too as he run his fingers through his short black hair.

"You know Amelia I was really scared about you." he finally managed to say.

"Everyone was Marcus but it's okay it's over now."

"No you don't understand." he said grabbing both my arms with his hands.I was taken aback by his action which scared me a bit to be honest but didn't do anything.

"Understand what Marcus?" 'no please don't' my inner voice begged.

"I care about you not just like a friend, I like you, a lot I may add." 'no you may not' I thought.

'Why did you do that?' I mentally asked him.

"Marcus-" I started to say but he cut me off soon.

"I don't want you to say anything just yet I know that you will probably reject me but please think of it and give us a chance." he said coming closer with each word he said until he was standing inches away from me his blue eyes boring into mine and just like that with one small movement his lips were on mine. I didn't blink or move I was too shocked I really didn't expect that. His lips left so foreign on mine and they were nothing like Harry's. I wanted to push him away but I couldn't my body wasn't listening to me and my brain was too confused to process everything that was happening. So I just stayed like that without responding like a statue and praying for him to pull away. And he did.

"Think about it." he whispered looking down at me and then walked away just like that leaving me still shocked near the door which soon opened to reveal my mum with a big smile on her face.

"What happened? " she asked and I looked at her parting my lips but nothing came out, at first. She raised her eyebrows at me urging me to talk and tapped her foot on the ground impatiently.

"He kissed me." I choked out and ran inside to my bedroom.

"Mum I'm going out for a walk." I yelled descending the stairs as I put on my jacket.

"Again?" she asked surprised approaching me.

"Yeah it helps me think." I lied and she nodded her head at me but not completely believing me.

"If I didn't know you I'd say that you are sneaking out to see someone." she said making me choke on my own saliva.

"What?" I squealed and she laughed.

"Relax I said if I didn't know you."

"But you do." I smiled innocently making a puppy face and she smiled.

"I hope so." she said and walked away going to the kitchen. "Don't be late." she yelled.

"I won't." I said and got outside quickly closing the door behind me.I put on my jacket's hood looking around me first to see if anyone was around and started running in the other direction from the house. Harry would be waiting for me in one of the alleys where we met for the passed few days. The only thing I wanted right know was to bury myself in his arms and forget about everything and everyone especially Marcus. After I told mum that he kissed me she bombarded me with question and kept telling me that he is a nice guy and other bullshit. I thought she was supposed to help me and not make me feel even worse about it. She always liked him and this was the chance she was waiting for to show it even more. I turned around the corner and walked in the dark alley where a tall lean figure was standing with their head low and the curls hanging on their forehead.Harry.

"Harry." I called him smiling and he turned his face towards me the only thing visible in the darkness his green orbs. I approached him and threw myself in his arms quickly as he took me in his warm embrace spinning me around.I inhaled his intoxicating scent and I knew I was safe here with him. He left a quick kiss on my jaw and then his lips attacked mine and I didn't even think before responding to his inviting lips. This is the feeling I loved,craved for, his lips left so right.

"Damn I missed you." he said as his lips brushed mine lightly sending shivers down my spine.

"You saw me yesterday too." I smiled seductively at him and he shook his head.

"That's not enough for me.I want you,all of you." he said pressing his body against mine and making my knees go weak.I wrapped my arms around his neck looking at his beautiful eyes.

"I love you." I whispered in his ear and placed a small kiss on his neck.

"I love you too." he responded smiling at me warmly.

"So how was today?" he asked smiling down at me and that's when I zoned out as all the events of today came back in my mind.

"Amelia." he called. I blinked a few times and looked at him confused before smiling. I wasn't going to tell him anything it's something that I can take care of myself...I think. If he learns about Marcus and that he kissed me he will get really pissed off and I don't want to know what he will do.

"Nothing really." I said.

"By the way I liked that dress that you tried on in the store." he said seductively in my ear.

"That's why I bought it." I told him with a wink and he shook his head.

"Oh so you did." he said smiling cheekily and turned around so that now he was pressing me against the brick wall. I nodded and kissed his cheek quickly. He brought his face closer to mine ready to kiss me and he was so close to do so but was stopped by something or better someone.

"Police, let the girl go and put your hands in the air."
