I pushed the front door of the club open, walking inside and taking off my sunglasses. I always has to be careful when I got out of the house in the morning, since the police was everywhere at the time. I still couldn't believe how I got myself into this mess.
The place was completely empty with only the bartender and a girl who was cleaning the floor inside. Of course it would be empty as it was still early. I didn't understand why Louis wanted to see me, but I hoped he finally stopped his little games. I wanted us to be on good terms, even though I was extremely angry with him for telling Leonard. I made my way to the bar and sat down on a chair there. Louis wasn't here yet. It looked like I would have to wait for him.
"Hey, Harry!" Calum, the bartender, said with a big smile on his face.
"Hi, mate."
"Why so early today?" he asked, leaving on the side what he was doing and resting his elbows on the bar to look at me.
"Actually, Louis told me to come." I replied and he raised his eyebrows, his mouth forming an 'o' shape.
"Look, I don't want you two fighting in here again. Jack was really pissed with both of you last time." he told me.
"I'm not planning on doing that. Louis said he had something important to tell me." I replied and he nodded.
"Okay. Anyway, do you want anything?" he asked me.
"Whiskey." I simply replied and he turned around. Just then, the girl who was cleaning earlier came and sat on the empty chair next to mine.
"Calum, a glass of water please." she said and looked at me, but as soon as our eyes met she looked away. She looked familiar, but I just couldn't remember where I had seen her from. She was sitting uncomfortably there, looking everywhere but me. It looked like something was concerning her.
"Here you go, mate." Calum said, placing the glass with the alcoholic drink in front of me.
"Jane." he said and gave the girl the water she asked for. She drank it all at once and put the glass back down, thanking Calum. She let out a deep breath and put her long, straight hair up in a neat ponytail with an elastic hairband.
"Why so upset?" I asked and she looked at me, confused, with her hazel eyes.
"What?" she frowned.
"You don't look well. What-"
"None of your business." she spat at me and walked away. I took a sip from my drink and smiled.
"Don't mind her. All day today she was moody." Calum said, laughing.
"What's her problem?" I asked him. Louis hadn't come yet, so I had to keep myself occupied in order not to feel bored. He shook his head.
"I really don't know. Maybe boyfriend problems." he said.
"I see." I said, finishing my drink. Calum took it, placed it away and continued cleaning the bar. Where the fuck was Louis?
"Isn't Louis going to come?" he asked.
"I don't know. I'm sick of waiting for him." I said and took out my phone dialling Louis. Calum was looking at me as I waited for Louis to answer his phone, but he didn't and that pissed me off. He was the one who told me to come, then he doesn't show up?
"He's not fucking answering!" I said angrily and Calum shrugged, walking away. Louis didn't want to meet me it was just one of his stupid jokes again, I was sure. But why? Or maybe something happened. I don't know. I exhaled deeply and stood up, taking my jacket and walked out of the club. I went to my car, which was parked just outside the club and called Louis again.

Louis walked quickly out of the house, pulling me with him. He didn't even bother to close the door completely, leaving it half open.
"Alright. We will have to walk a bit because I couldn't bring my car here." he said and I nodded looking around me, expecting Harry to appear any time soon. He didn't though.
"Don't be scared, Amelia." he said and squeezed my hand, encouraging me. I looked him in the eyes, but I couldn't tell if he was telling the truth or not. However, I decided to believe him.
"Thank you." I whispered and smiled at him weakly. He hesitated a bit, but eventually returned the gesture.
"We have to go now." he said and we both started walking with a quick pace through the woods.
That was when I realised that I actually hadn't been outside that house for a long time. Everything seemed so different. I was lost, just like when I was small and dad would take me to the park and I would look at my surroundings with surprise. Being lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice the rock in front of me and tripped over it falling to the ground with a thud. My hand let go of Louis' hand and I took my injured foot in my hands. I twisted my ankle. Just great.
"Are you ok?" Louis asked me, coming and standing beside me.
"It hurts." I said, breathing heavily. Louis placed his hand on my foot, applying a bit pressure to it and I winced, gripping tightly his jacket's sleeve.
"Let me help you stand up." he said and offered me his hand to help me. I did so and stood straight in front of him but when I tried to walk, the pain caused me to almost fall. Fortunately, he was there to prevent me from colliding with the hard ground.
"I can't it hurts, Louis." I cried and he sighed, shaking his head.
"Come here." he said and placed both arms around my waist lifting me up and throwing me over his shoulder. I let out a small squeal and turned my head, trying to look at him.
"What are you doing?" I asked him, blushing slightly.
"You can't walk, so I will carry you until we get to the car." he simply replied and started walking.
"Come on. It's not necessary." I said, trying to convince him to let me down, but he didn't. After a while of walking he put me down with a big grin on his face.
"Alright here we are. Get in the car." he said and opened the door for me to get inside. I still couldn't believe that I got out of there. I looked behind me and then got in the car. Louis closed the door and got into the driver's seat, starting the car.
"Thank you again, Louis." I whispered, touching his hand. He was really kind to me and also helped me a lot.
He looked at my hand, but didn't say anything. Instead he looked back at the road. I sighed and rested my head against the window, closing my eyes, trying to forget and sleep, but I was interrupted by the sound of Louis' phone ringing loudly in the car. Without wanting I looked at the caller ID before Louis took it in his hands. It was Harry. I looked at Louis who didn't answer the phone, scared. What if he found out and was searching for us?
"Don't worry." Louis reassured me. I stayed silent, looking at the long road in front of me, but something just didn't feel right or should I say, looked right. From what I knew, this wasn't the right way back in the town. It looked like we were going even further from where we were. I sat straight in my seat and turned my gaze to Louis, confused.
"I think this is not the right way." I told him.
"It is. Now shut up." he said in a harsh tone, making my eyes widen. What happened to him? I didn't expect him to reply to me like that. His phone rang again and I was sure it was Harry because he didn't answer it. Something was wrong here.
We arrived to an old, abandoned warehouse. The place looked dark and scary and made me shiver and sink in my seat. I hugged myself. Where were we? Where did he bring me? This for sure wasn't my house.
"Get out." Louis commanded and opened the door. I hadn't realised that he had gotten out of the car-- that was how much the place had frightened me. I hesitated. I didn't want to get outside; the car felt more safe to me than Louis at that moment. "Amelia!" he called angrily my name and grabbed me from my arm, pulling me outside towards him.
"Where are we, Louis?" I asked him with my voice trembling.
"You will learn soon enough." he replied annoyed.
"You are not taking me back home, are you?" I asked again and he laughed.
"Took you long to realise it. I thought you were smarter." he said and started walking, pulling me with him. I tried to resist, but he was stronger and with a hurt foot I couldn't do much.
"Harry will find me." I told him. I don't even know why I said that. Maybe because Harry was the one I was thinking about during our way here or maybe just because I hoped that he would care about me enough to come and help me.
"Amelia... Sweet, little, innocent Amelia. When will you realise that Harry doesn't care about you? He just wanted a quick fuck and you didn't give it to him, so believe me he won't give a single shit about you." he yelled the last part in my face and continued walking.
All this time, I was wrong. Harry wasn't the monster. Louis was and I was such a fool to actually trust him to the point where I followed him. Harry wanted to protect me in his own complicated way and I didn't let him.
We reached the front door and Louis said his name. The door opened and we got inside. The room was filled with dirty, old men and smoke. It was disgusting.
"I wanna see Leonard." he said to a tall guy standing in front of a door. He looked at me, narrowing his eyes and then opened the door allowing us to get in. Louis pushed me and I fell to the floor, supporting myself with my hands. Then two feet appeared in front of me and I looked up to see a man who looked quite scary. I gulped and tried to look as calm as possible even though I was freaking out inside. His sleeves were rolled up and he was showing off his big dragon tattoo on his right arm, while a cigarette was sitting between his lips.
"Who are you?" I asked him just above a whisper. This situation didn't look good to me, something bad was going to happen. He smiled amused and knelt down, blowing all the smoke on my face and making me cough.
"I, sweetheart, am... your worst nightmare."
