Caluccio

Lucia stormed downstairs, her rage was visible. She needs to get over her stupid crush over Diego. it's never going to work. Diego isn't a man capable of love, at least the Diego I know isn't. She stormed towards me, I prepared myself for this.

"Why is she here?" Lucia demanded, folding her hands together. She knows I love her, she is a little sister but I will never approve of her crush over Diego neither her hatred towards the girl. That girl is innocent, caught in the middle.

"You know why, Lucia" the glass was empty, the wine was delicious. Placing the empty glass on the table, I faced her. The whole thing was a mess.

"Why did you let this happen?" she whined like a child.

Ok, now it's my fault this happened?

I let out a heavy breath.

She is used to getting everything she wants except Diego. This is something no one can do, not even my dad can make it happen. "I can't stop, Diego. You know that" Everything about the situation was giving me a headache. This isn't something I approve but that's Diego we are talking about.

Diego always does what he wants.

Why don't Lucia get it?

She has been watching him for her whole life.

At first, I thought it was silly crush but as the days go by it becoming more strong and it's scaring the hell out of me.I know Diego for my whole life. He always gets what he wants. Even if it isn't consensual. Diego is a man of power, prestige. he rules over Italy like a fucking king. All I do the dirty work that he wants me to do. There's no way I can stop Diego from something he wants.

"He never bought anyone home before" My sister's eyes clouded with tears, my hands were itching to beat the shit out of Diego but there's no point of doing this. My sister and Diego are the same. When they want something they make it happen by hook or crook, it doesn't matter how.

"Go home Lucia" There wasn't any way to confront her. even if there was any way, I didn't aware of it. It hurts like hell to see my sister cry and have no power to do anything for it. I just hope she gets over the ridiculous crush she has now.

Nodding her head, she left the room. I watcher she disappears before the door, I was left alone in the huge room waiting for Diego. The cabinet was full of liquor, an inner battle inside my head went on, should I drink another glass?

I only drank one glass, I could drink more. Watching Lucia cry broke my heart. Before I could come to a decision Diego stormed in and strolled straight to the cabinet and pulled out a bottle. He seemed tensed, whatever happened it didn't formulate competently.

Decided to keep my mouth shut, I kept quiet waiting for him to talk first. I was always a good listener besides I believe you need to listen first and then speak.

" Let's go the whorehouse" Diego voiced, he looked distressed. it took me a minute to fathom what he is exhorting since I had a feeling he was smitten by the girl. Diego is always predictable but in the last twenty-four hours, his behavior became questionable to me.

He extracted an innocent girl from her life, forcefully brought her here, fucked a woman in the plane then carried the girl in his arms to the mansion and now proposing to visit the whorehouse for obvious reason.

I am surprised that he isn't with that girl. I thought he would claim her in the plan. he was behaving oddly. When I saw Hailey first, I was mesmerized by her beauty. She is indeed attractive, in my life I haven't come across such a pretty face to this day. Even I can't deny the attraction I felt for her. Every man who sees her must have felt this way.

But beauty doesn't affect Diego, I know this. I was positive Diego would claim her on the plane but when he came out looking like a raging bull, that surprised me. Hiding the shock, I tried to act as if this thought never occurred to me in front of him. But deep down I have a feeling I know the reason. She may have rejected his advances and Diego Rocco can't take No. And if my guess is correct, things won't be nice onwards.

"Where's the girl? Is she okay? " This was bugging me and the suspicion was growing more and more.

" Don't talk about her" he spat, devouring the liquor from the bottle like a madman.

What the fuck?

Now he is getting on my nerves. He is like a brother to me, I can give my life for him but sometimes he annoys the hell out of me.

"Why did you bring her here Diego?" I know it's vain but maybe some information would come out from his mouth. There's no way an innocent should suffer. "I know you didn't take the offer of Owen" Concluding my point because there's no way I would give him space for false statements.

" She is beautiful." His face had an emotion I couldn't fathom.

"Beuty is'nt the only reason"

" I wanted to have her and I took her. But she rejected me. How dare she reject Diego Rocco. Women would be begging to be in her place and she acted as if I am some bug she wanted to rid of." He was shaking with anger. My suspicion was correct.

Silly little girl

What has she done?

Does she have any idea?

I wonder how far things have gone between them but it seems not very far.

Diego didn't take her rejection nicely. He would never accept any rejection towards him.

I wonder how much she has to endure.

" Is she alright?" That girl was naive, had no idea who she rejected. She is so young, fresh but her unfortunate luck will ruin her.

"She isn't eating. I can't control myself in front of her, Caluccio. I want her, badly" He professed, the vain on his neck was striking.

"You need to take care of her. she is going to be sick " Proclaiming the fact because her frail body won't be able to take all the stress and on top of that it's confirmed she is starving. When I sent her food she was sleeping and the foods remained untouched.

" I need to get laid. Come on" he rendered, for a fact I knew he won't back down now.

"You can't be serious" I huffed, feeling utterly seething at Diego.

"If you are so tensed about her, why don't you go and see if she is okay" he proclaimed, looking irritated. For a moment I realized how obnoxious he sounded and also, irrational. He is always like this, leaving me with his work when he should be the one to do it.

"Are you sure?" There's no way I would do this without confirming because Diego is a madman.

"Do whatever you think is right. Fuck you and your morals" He is a hot-tempered man who has no sense of responsibility. I wish Lucia would see that. But Diego is my friend, I grew up watching him, admiring him except his mismanagement. But no one's perfect and Diego has me to cover his imperfections.

The staircase was long, at least at that moment that's how I felt about them. No one would stop me, they knew how much Diego trusted me and even if I kill anyone he won't mind. I knew which room she was in, Nina informed me. The first thing I did was to make sure that a naive girl gets food, and Nina would do that perfectly. When she came out of the room, I saw how tensed Nina was.

The door was at the end of the long corridor, the exact opposite of Diego's. He will make sure to track her every move.

I let out a sigh when I got close to the door of the room she is staying in. I debated if I should go into the room or not. I had a feeling I should stay away from her, but at that moment I did what I think I should do. I know I can't help her but at least I can make sure she is taken care of to some extent. 

Hello everyone. How are you all?

I hope you guys had a great day. My day was boring but somewhat okay. I went to shopping and that made me late which is the reason the update is late. I will try to prepare the chapters early from now on. The next chapter will be a bit big, I will try my best.

This book is unedited. This is the first draft I am publishing, there will be lots of errors , be aware of them.
