Emma: Life in the islands... simple, yet fun, yet boring at times. This was the mindset of Sora, Riku and Kairi, three islanders living in the world of Destiny Islands. These three were ambitious, maybe even a bit too much, because they decided to take a fucking raft to sea and travel other worlds. Silly Riku, rafts aren't for space, Gummi Ships are!

Jack: Sora's job was to gather materials, food and finally, race Riku in order to name the raft. Once those couple jobs were done, Sora turned in for the night, when disaster struck. There was a storm, Kairi disappeared, and there were a bunch of weird demon things called the Heartless who Sora couldn't kill with the Wooden Sword in hand. Try as he might, Sora had no way to hurt these creatures, and right afterwards, Riku was sucked into a void of darkness, leaving Sora to receive the Keyblade, a weapon from the Realm of Light designed to kill Heartless.

Emma: The Keyblade, otherwise called the Kingdom Key, led Sora to defeating some weird beard-man before Destiny Islands fucking EXPLODED and was engulfed in darkness, leaving Sora to roam Traverse Town on his own. Confused and alone, Sora eventually stumbled across Leon, who fought him, before knocking him out and taking him to the hotel.

Jack: This was when Sora was told about the Keyblade's true power, the only weapon the Heartless truly fear. The sword that can open any door, lock or chest. Sora then set off to stop the Heartless waiting outside, where he eventually stumbled across a giant armor thing he had to fight off with Donald Duck and Goofy by his side. From here on, Sora began his journey has a Keyblade user.

Jack: Sora wields a Keyblade, a giant key which functions as both a sword and, well, a key to unlock or lock anything from doors to locks to chests. His Keyblade is the Kingdom Key, which originally supposed to Riku's but after freeing Riku from the darkness, had received it instead. But he also has the Ultima Weapon which is the strongest Keyblade in the KH universe.

Emma: He can use elements like Firaga, Blizzaga and Thundaga, attract enemies or times with Magnega, heal with Curaga and stop time completely with Stopga. He can deflect attacks with Aeroga or Reflega and even shrink foes to small sizes with Mini. But when his back is to the wall, Sora can tap into his Drive Forms which greatly increases his powers.

Jack: But his greatest and riskiest ability is the Power of Waking. Described by Yen Sid, I see what you did there people, to have "the power to free a heart from its sleep", it allows Sora to restore recently deceased hearts and travel into other worlds. However, it's considered taboo and has unexpected consequences if abused too much, like allowing worlds into hearts instead of the other way around.

Feats

Sora also seems to be capable of bending the universe's laws of nature to an extent, namely through his memories

Single-handedly defeated 1,000 Heartless while only showing minor fatigue afterward

Slices through 7 buildings at once (Additionally, these buildings are shown to not be hollow, but solid all the way through)

Launched buildings like tennis balls

Was not originally meant to possess the Keyblade, yet he's become one of its most skilled wielders, if not the very best

Blocked and dodged lasers (has light-speed reactions. Sora can react to them consecutively)

Can either teleport or move faster than the eye can see (Fast enough to not only dodge but reflect sniper fire)

Survived an exploding pirate ship while on it

Took down the entirety of Organization XIII with help

Overpowered a Rock Titan

Resisted transmutation & time manipulation

Shot a laser to the moon in 1 second

Even without wielding the Keyblade he is skilled with any kind of sword

Can adapt to any combat situation and his foes' attacks (Frequently uses his own opponents' moves against them)

Fell straight from space, from the Gummi Ship and landed headfirst into a treehouse

Defeated Riku, Roxas, Hercules, Hades, Rock Titan, Ice Titan, Lava Titan, Tornado Titan, Jafar, Urusula, Maleficent, Cloud, Sephiroth, Anti-Aqua, Lingering Will, Yozora, Ansem, Xemnas, and Xehanort

Jack: Sora's raw confidence, and his friends have taken him through many hardships and feats. He's been able to slash clean through 7 buildings at once, deflect hundreds of lightsabers coming at him and Riku at once, defeated the solar-system busting Sephiroth, and fought 1000 Heartless coming at him at once. He's even bested most of the Organization XIII with a bit of help from King Mickey and Riku.

Emma: Sora can be comparable to Aqua, who spend 10 years in the Realm of Darkness walking around and it's a parallel to the Realm of Light and both Realms make up the Ocean Between, which is a 5D structure. And Sora bested her. Also remember that time Sora fired a laser at the moon which is 1.28 times FTL? Well that's nothing considering Sora defeated Roxas, his Nobody. Roxas' Heart travelled from the Radiant Garden to the Keyblade Graveyard in 4.76 seconds, that's 167,865,430.14 times FTL.

Jack: And alongside Donald and Goofy, Sora battled Master Xehanort, a Keyblade Master who wants to bring balance between darkness and light by using the power of the true Kingdom Hearts and reshape the multiverse in his own image. Yes, multiverse. In Kingdom Hearts 3D, Joshua and Riku confirmed that each world has their own flow of time and Xehanort had both the X-Blade and true Kingdom Hearts at his disposal, yet Sora defeated him once and for all.

Nearly helpless without his Keyblade, which he has been separated from before

Overuse of his Drive Forms can cause him to turn into his Anti-Form

Emma: But Sora isn't without limits. He needs his Keyblade to do his spells and while Sora's strong on his own, he's more of a team player, relying on friends to back him up which isn't a good thing in a 1v1 fight most of the time. And his magic have a finite limit albeit regenerating overtime.

Jack: And should he overuse his Drive Forms, he becomes Anti-Sora. While still able to fight, he's nowhere as powerful as his normal self. But most of all, abusing the Power Waking will result in Sora being erased from existence.

Emma: This is exactly what happened when Sora brought Kairi back to life at the cost of his own. Granted he reappeared in Kingdom Hearts 4 but you get the idea. But no matter how many hits Sora takes, no matter how many times he'll fall, he will always get back up again.

Sora: They can take your world. They can take your heart. Cut you loose from all you know. But if it's your fate..... then every step forward will always be a step closer to home.
