Adam: What consumes the thoughts of a god? What do immortals dream of with all the time in the world? In Zamasu's case, his one goal was divine justice.

Randy: Yeah, this guy's got major Final Fantasy big bad energy all over him.

Adam: As the assistant to Universe 10's Supreme Kai, Zamasu prized, above all else, cosmic order and natural beauty. Unsurprisingly I suppose, Zamasu despised the inherently chaotic nature of mortals, being seemingly unwilling to lift themselves out of their own cycle of violence and stupidity.

Randy: His heart was clouded, until the day he met Son Goku.

Adam: With God Ki, Goku could match blows with the God of Destruction, Beerus. Their clash nearly destroyed the entirety of Universe 7. Uh, side note, it's worth mentioning that when two Gods of Destruction fought, they were capable of casually destroying two of these universes.

Randy: Goku was tapping into his Super Saiyan God form for this, though clearly not at its full strength.

Popup: Zamasu took Goku's body from an unspecified point in time at least a year into the future, suggesting his stolen body was stronger than Goku himself was in the present of their conflict.

Shadow: Here was a mortal with the powers of gods beyond even Zamasu's abilities. Someone who could bring his dreams to fruition.

Randy: So, Zammy did what anyone would do in that situation: kill his master to become the Supreme Kai, wish on the Super Dragon Balls to switch bodies with Goku, and kill every single mortal in the universe.

Adam: And thus, the deity Zamasu became Goku Black.

Bulma: Please, Goku Black? You couldn't be more creative?

Randy: ..... you know the fact it was her Future self who gave him the name is all kinds of ironic.

Shadow: Being the copycat he is, Black has all of Goku's powers, such as the  Instant Transmission where he teleport and the Black Kamehameha, despite the fact it's pink. But he also invented several moves of his own. Like the God Split Cut, an energy blade that Black has no trouble stabbing you with, especially with its stronger variations the Violent Fierce God Slicer and Azure Dragon Sword Model Energy Blade.

Randy: Naturally, Black can also tap into the Super Saiyan Blue form, except his is called Super Saiyan Rose. Okay, I'll give him points for a good color name. And he can create ki scythe called the Sickle of Sorrow and create shadow clones with it via "The Work of the Gods" ability where he creates a rift.

Adam: And using Goku's body, Black has harnessed the power of the Zenkai Boost. This is a Saiyan trait where they become stronger after surviving a near death experience. Black figured this out, hence why he always lets himself get hit at every chance he got, essentially making him stronger and more difficult to kill. The literal manifestation of the phrase, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger."

Popup: Note that name "Zenkai Boost" isn't an official term for the ability.

Shadow: But his most important asset is the Time Ring, allowing him to travel to the past for future for a limit time, but most importantly, makes him immortal in a way via paradoxes. As long as Black wears the Time Ring, changing his past or killing him won't affect the present one.

Randy: Goku Black is able to match SSJ2 Goku while in his base form, killed his former master Gowasu to become the new Supreme Kai and has killed all the other Supreme Kais which results in the death of the Gods of Destruction due to their links. Ha! Can't even fight them one-on-one huh asshole?

Shadow: As Super Saiyan Rose, Black has overpowered Blue Goku, Blue Vegeta and Super Saiyan Trunks. And keep in mind Black stole Goku's body at a later point, which was way stronger than the present one and this is the same God Goku who's punch colliding with Beerus' nearly destroyed the entirety of Universe 7.

Adam: Universe 7 is about 1,505 times larger than the observable universe. While Super Saiyan Blue has no official multiplier, we do know Blue is superior to Super Saiyan 3, which increased Super Saiyan 2's power by 4, which in turn increases one's base form by 50, making SSJ3 about 400 times stronger than base. So by stacking up the multipliers, Goku Black is capable of destroying 602,000 universes.

Randy: He even fused with his future self to become Merged Zamasu, who can match Vegito Blue and is capable of affecting timelines as Infinite Zamasu. And thanks to the Time Ring, Black is unaffected by changes to his personal timeline. Beerus once erased his past self yet Black still lived.

Weaknesses

Because Black is not immortal like Future Zamasu is, Merged Zamasu is unstable and is completely vulnerable to be killed

Adam: But as the saying goes, nothing beats the original. Black may have Goku's body, but he doesn't have the same experience nor training and prefers to abuse the Zenkai Boost just to get stronger. He's also incredibly cocky and has a fitting god complex to match his power.

Randy: And since Black doesn't wished for immortality like Future Zamasu, their fusion as Merged Zamasu was unstable which renders him mortal and killed by Future Trunks. And then he was killed for the final time when Future Zeno erased Future Trunks' timeline which eradicated Infinite Zamasu.

Shadow: But in the end, Goku Black was a powerful opponent to Goku and friends, and a living reminder of humanity's mistakes. And that will never be forgotten.

Goku Black: I look down on existence from a much higher perspective than you do. I witness this world, this universe, and the truth of all things. That yields deeper understanding, wisdom, the realization that all mortals should be destroyed. The one and only mistake among all divine creations, that is what mortals are, and this mistake is egregious! To shape existence into the beautiful utopia it was always meant to be, the mistake must be corrected. I will purge all mortals from existence in place of the gods who REFUSE TO ADMIT FAILURE!
