Ziana: During the year 1954, in an effort to kill Godzilla for good, Dr. Daisuke Serizawa created the terrifying Oxygen Destroyer. A weapon that, as the name suggests, is capable of destroying oxygen and liquifying tissues that made contact. However, Serizawa feared the Oxygen Destroyer's mere existence would lead to another arms race, this time with weapons more powerful than the atomic bombs that wiped out Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Zen: So when it was time to deploy the weapon against Godzilla, Serizawa sacrificed himself and to the blueprints of the weapon to his watery grave. Killing both Godzilla and erasing the Oxygen Destroyer from existence.

Kira: But all that changed in the year 1996. Turns out that a surviving colony of microscopic crustaceans from the Precambrian Era were exposed to the Oxygen Destroyer that was set of in 1954, growing and mutating for the next 40 years until they broke free and attacked Tokyo. This creature was then dubbed "Destoroyah".

Ziana: It should as no surprise that Destoroyah possesses the power of the Oxygen Destroyer given his mutation. He can absorb your DNA and add it to his own, which is why he took Godzilla and Junior's DNA to make himself more powerful. He can fire Micro-Oyxgen Beams that can vaporize most organic matter and even melt metal.

Kira: Destoroyah also has the ability to split into smaller Kaijus to overwhelm an opponent or fuse into one strong monster such as his Aggregated, Flying and Final Forms. He can charge up his Horn Katana to deliver deadly cuts or just drag you around with his pincer tail whenever he flies.

Zen: And being a crustacean doubles as a bonus as Destoroyah is covered head to to in tough armor, capable of shrugging of most physical attacks. And while it cut from the movie, Destoroyah's strongest move is his Oxygen Destroyer Chest beam, which has been shown to knock Godzilla down while cutting a part of his tail and several spikes.

Kira: Oh and fun little fact, the directors of the movie stated Destoroyah's Perfect Form is actually isn't his final one, as he can continually grow by absorbing more DNA if given the chance.

Kira: Destoroyah is truly a nightmarish Kaiju to behold. He's able to overpower Burning Godzilla multiple times and at one point dragged around like a ragdoll, he once sliced the moon in half in the manga. He and King Ghidorah killed him several times in literal hell before the latter turned on him and is famously known for killing Godzilla Junior.

Zen: Bastard!

Ziana: And while he's been severely hurt, Destoroyah is tough enough to withstand Burning Godzilla's Super Red Spiral Ray, where both Godzilla is at his peak of his meltdown and a weaker Red Spiral Ray as defeated other Kaijus like SpaceGodzilla with one or a few blasts. Yet it took Burning Big G multiple hits to make him bleed.

Ziana: But Destoroyah still has limits, his biggest one being extremely vulnerable to freezing weapons, which caused his first death when his frozen body made contact with the superheated ground while he tried to escaped a furious Burning Godzilla. And he's lost to the weaker Anguirus despite his superior strength.

Zen: And while he can fly, he's not exactly fast on the ground given his tremendous size. And he's commonly regarded as the first Kaiju to be killed the military that did not require a giant robot. *Sighs* Oh I bet Zilla is laughing is ass off right now.

Kira: But do not underestimate this Kaiju. Though he's been defeated, he'll always come. You know what they say, "Speak of the devil and he shall appear" and Destoroyah will be back before you know it.
