Alisa: In the beginning, there was nothing but darkness. Then, a dazzling light appeared and came forth the Great Dragon, a powerful cosmic entity. With it's fiery breath came the Dragon's Flame which in turn birth the Magic Dimension. With it the Great Dragon created countless worlds and spreading life and heat across the universe. Eventually it was exhausted and arrived in the realm of Domino to rest, entrusting the royal family to safeguard the Dragon Flame. Soon the second daughter of King Oritel and Queen Marion was born, Bloom.

Nakano: But everything changed when Domino was attacked by the Three Ancestral Witches, who ere tasked by their master Darkar to claim the power of the Dragon Flame so that he can use to to gain the Ultimate Power of Relix. Bloom's older sister Daphne sent her to Earth to protect both Bloom and the Dragon Flame from the evil witches. She landed in Gardenia where Mike found her unharmed by the fire consuming a house and adopted her as his own daughter.

Vanessa: Bloom lived a normal life until one day she encountered a blonde girl fairy named Stella, fighting off an Ogre named Knut. There she discovered she had magical powers and convinced by Stella to to to the Magic Dimension where she can trained her powers for good. Enrolling in Alfea, Bloom befriended three other fairies, Musa, Tecna and Flora and after fighting the three witches called the Trix, who are the descendants of the Ancestral Witches by the way, as well as exposing her secret, the five Fairy formed the Winx Club, with Aisha joining in Season 2.

Nakano: Like most fairies, she can transform, fly and use magic spells. Being a fire-themed fairy means Bloom has powers over all things fire. Capable of shooting fireballs, creating fiery shields or even create an energy construct shaped like a dragon. However, as the Guardian of the Dragon's Flame, she can harness many of its powers. Such as being able to negate and counter other magic, fire energy blasts, create portals, seal people or objects and change size. And that's just the tip of the the iceberg.

Vanessa: She can warp reality to her will, control and stop time, manipulate spatial and temporal dimensionality and create anything out of nothing. And any of her spells, when used to the fullest, can disintegrate most thing at the atomic level. Plus as the Dragon Flame's host, Bloom can mostly resist having her entire magic nullified or stolen and can even empower others with the Dragon Flame. But let's get to their bread and butter, Magix Winx! Simply known as Fairy Forms, these allow Bloom to transform into more powerful stages of a fairy, each form stronger than the last.

Popup: It is shown in Season 8 that even after obtaining a new transformation, the Winx are still capable of using older forms such as with Enchantix and Sirenix.

Alisa: Enchantix grants Bloom the ability to use Fairy Dust which can break any dark spell casted upon them. Believix is where Bloom can control emotions or feelings of a person and recquire's making people believe in magic in order to get stronger. Sirenix grants Bloom the ability to swim underwater and use her fire abilities there and in Season 8, has evolved into Crystal Sirenix to adapt to the cold and light even the most darkest places. Then we have, ugh, Bloomix, which allows Bloom better control over the Dragon Flame.

Vanessa: Seriously? Bloomix? I know Bloom is the main character but come on! Anyways, with Butterflix, Bloom has nature-themed powers which are shaped like, well, butterflies. But her current and most powerful form is Cosmix. Not only does this allow Bloom to travel into space but is capable of lighting dying stars and even close or destroy black holes!

Vanessa: Bloom is one of the strongest Fairies that Alfea has ever produced. She's defeated Icy one-on-one in the Season 1 finale, obliterated the Obsidian Dimension, and resisted having her powers stripped by the Legendarium due to her status as the keeper of the Dragon Flame. She managed to defeat the more experienced Nebula, a Major Fairy of War, despite the latter using cheap tricks to save Roxy's life, but also convinced her to rejoin the good side and used Believix Convergence to freeze three of the four Wizards of the Black Circle. 

Alisa: With Enchantix, Bloom had defeated Valtor spiritually in Season 3 and has broken Tritannus' trident with Sirenix in Season 5. She and the other Winx used a Convergence to stabilize the Pillar of Balance which was causing the entire Magic Dimension to shake. And in the Secret of the Lost Kingdom and Magical Adventure movies, though the latter is arguable to be fully canon, she had defeated the 3 Ancestral Witches who turned Domino into a wasteland before restoring it to its former glory.

Popup: Bloom and the other Winx have also defeated the Trix numerous times them having their own equally powerful forms to match them with each season.

Vanessa: And some of these villains are no pushovers. Valtor was born from a corrupted spark of the Dragon Flame, meaning he has similar powers to Bloom and Bloom took hits from Tritannus, who was powered by the Emperor's Throne of the Infinite Ocean which is capable of threatening the entire Magic Dimension. Which isn't far-fetched considering the Dragon Flame is what created the Magic Dimension in the first place, a universal feat of power.

While capable of fighting independently, Bloom is more of a team player

Has a habit of running away from her problems

Most of her major victories require the other Winx

Lost her confidence after being tricked by Selina and nearly killing Flora

Alisa: Buuuut Bloom is far from invincible. While Bloom capable of holding her own, being a magical girl series, she's more of a "power of friendship" kind of person and prefers to fight as a team. In the first season she had the Dragon Flame taken from her by Icy and had been corrupted by Darkar into Dark Bloom in the second season. Not to mention she had a habit of running away if she loses confidence or scared.

Vanessa And each form has their downsides. Enchantix's magic is weak against the Wizards of the Black Circle, Believix becomes weak if people don't believe in magic and less powerful underwater. Staryummies aren't harmed by anything other than light-based magic and Bloomix SOMEHOW isn't that strong against Kalshara.

Nakano: And while the Dragon Flame can't be put out by normal means, the Water Stars are the only things capable putting it out permanently since they're on opposite sides. Made even worse by the fact Bloom gets exhausted if the Dragon Flame is depleted, though this is no longer an issue after she absorbed the Vortex of Flames.

Alisa: Yet, Bloom will always fight the good fight. No matter the obstacle, you can be assured Bloom will rise to the occasion and protect the Magic Dimension from the forces of evil.
