Jack: As the wielder of the all-powerful device known as the Omnitrix, Ben Tennyson has seen his fair of enemies ranging from his Grandpa Max's then his arch-nemesis Vilgax, the xenophobic Highbreed, self-proclaimed "greatest huntsman in the galaxy" Khyber and so on. But one stands out among them: his doppleganger Albedo. But it's a bit complicated to outright say he's a legit doppleganger, but actually a Galvan. Let's go back from the start.

Emma: You see, what the Galvans lack in destructive capability, they make up for it in sheer intelligence and they're one of the smartest beings in the universe that rival, if not, surpass Cerebrocrustaceans. And one of the most famous is Azmuth, the First  Thinker and smartest being in eight galaxies-

Jack: Five actually.

Emma: - and is actually the creator of the Omnitrix alongside Albedo who was his assistant at the time. But when Albedo asked for an Omnitrix as he doesn't a human like Ben to wield it, Azmuth fired him as there can only be one Omnitrix. Albedo managed to recreate a copy of the Omnitrix and set it to match Ben's original. 

Jack: There was just one problem: Azmuth used Ben's DNA as default and Albedo found himself looking like an exact copy of Ben. Obviously furious and wanting to return to his original Galvan form, Albedo captured Gwen and Kevin in the hopes of tricking Ben into giving the Omnitrix to him, but that failed and they fight until their Omnitrixes locked on to each other and the resulting feedback results in Albedo becoming a negative mirror version of Ben: white instead of brown and red instead of green.

Emma: Azmuth arrived and removed the Omnitrix core from Albedo's knockoff, which permanently traps Albedo in Ben's body. Even more so in Omniverse, where his stabilizer malfunctioned via Azmuth, again, and turns him into a 11-year old Ben.

Emma: Albedo is considered to be very intelligent, considered to be "very smart even for a Galvan" which is not surprising since he's worked with Azmuth in making the Omnitrix. He also knows some hand-to-hand combat when he fought Ben. And much like with Ben's Omnitrix, Albedo's Ultimatrix can turn him into any alien Ben has, but we're only giving him aliens he's canonically used.

Jack: But there was one thing that Albedo created in his Ultimatrix that Ben's Omnitrix did not have, the Evolutionary Function. This is where Albedo has the ability to transform his aliens into their Ultimate Forms. Said alien DNA chosen to go Ultimate undergoes a simulation where the "survival of the fittest" rule was applied, resulting in the evolved forms becoming more combat ready compared to their normal counterparts.

Emma: You might say the Ultimatrix is a weapon of war in contrast to the Omnitrix which was made to bring peace to the universe.

Popup: In Alien Force's "Final Battle: Part 2", Albedo was forced to relinquish the Ultimatrix to Ben after he activated the self-destruct sequence. But in Omniverse's "The Ultimate Heist", he manage to recreate it and gained the ability to go Ultimate again after receiving the Polymorphic Crystal.

Emma: His first and most used Ultimate form was Ultimate Humungousaur, who possesses super strength, an Ankylosaurus-like tail, and the ability to morph his hands into bio-gatling guns which fire missiles. Ultimate Echo Echo can use sonic disk to unleash sonic waves powerful enough to level buildings and Ultimate Spidermonkey has eight arms and can spit strong webbings from his mouth like an actual spider.

Jack: Ultimate Arctiguana can unleash powerful ice beams from the cannons of his shoulders, Ultimate Rath is a stronger and tougher Rath with two claws and Ultimate Gravattack's control over gravity skyrockets and has three small planetoids with Gravattack;s face in his planetoid form. And then there's his own Ultimate form, Ultimate Albedo. His intelligence is much higher and can fire energy beams or expel energy pulses, create forcefields and can fly.

Emma: Albedo has defeated Gwen as Swampfire and Kevin as Diamondhad, took Azmuth's intelligence for himself at point, downed Ben as a human and bested many of Ben's aliens with his own, mostly thanks to his Ultimates forms. Which is saying something because the aliens Ben uses within the Omnitrix are at their peak, meaning they're at their best whenever Ben transforms and it's reasonable to say we can scale the aliens Albedo has to Ben's.

Jack: Ultimate Humungousaur is capable of lifting Way Big and Gravattack generated enough gravity to create a black hole, which is 108.3 Ninatons, enough to obliterate a star . And we're pretty sure Ultimate Gravattack is even stronger than that.

Despite his increased intelligence, Ultimate Albedo is still nowhere as smart as Azmuth 

Despite his enhanced intelligence he doesn't judge people properly, seeing how he teamed up with Vilgax thrice despite being betrayed by him on two occasions

Sentenced to clean-up for the next "30 Galvan solar cycles"

Jack: But if there's anything can take Albedo down, it's his own arrogance. He's constantly been known to underestimate his enemies and ignoring the potential of others, like when Blukic and Driba, despite their bumbling antics, successfully revived Azmuth after he'd been destroyed by Albedo. And without his stabilizer, Albedo will always go back to his human form which he loathes.

Popup: In the DS version of Vilgax Attacks, Albedo attempted to use Alien X but was stuck in an argument with Serena and Bellicus which render him motionless for an entire year. Professor Paradox even references this in "Ben 10,000 Returns".

Emma: He's also not good at judging people such as teaming up with Vilgax for the third time even after being double crossed twice in Alien Force and Omniverse. And he's developed an craving for Chili Fries which can get the better of him. Plus Ben has bested many of his Ultimate forms without the need of his own. And he was ultimately arrested in the end when Azmuth disabled his Ultimatrix for good.

Jack: Regardless of his chili fries addiction and arrogance though, you can't deny Albedo is one of the most unique foes Ben has ever face. After it's not every day you fight someone who not only use the same aliens but also evolve them.

Albedo: If I were you....

Albedo slaps the Ultimatrix and transforms into Rath, before evolving into Ultimate Rath.

Ultimate Rath: ..... I'd rethink the situation!
