Chapter 62

" I swore never to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. "

Elie Wiesel

(Outskirts of Paris, 8:30 PM)

Elder Steve Rogers was roaming around on a motorcycle where he had volunteered himself to monitor the Parisian boundary for any invaders for the rest of the day. The night had become colder and thought of returning home to his flat. Suddenly, he paused and stopped the vehicle as he heard coughing. The former Captain America took out his flashlight and vibranium cane and beamed to the ground, breaking the shadows.

" Is anyone there? " he asked.

A muffled sound hit Elder Rogers' ears, it was a sad sound only slightly audible that sounded suspiciously like crying in the dark. The sound unnerved him slightly.

" Hello? " the tall elderly man kept pointing his flashlight and walking on the streets.

A can sailed through the air and landed near him with multiple clanging sounds followed by the sound of someone rummaging through trash cans in a creepy way.

" Cheese, I'm not expecting the Kree and the Lizards to attack me. I'm too extremely old for fighting. Only my grandnephew Joshua can deal with them," he said to himself and pointed the light at the trash cans.

The light caused a cat playing with a ball of yarn to flash as an elderly man backed away scared tears streaming down his face. His hair was long and his clothes dirty. The cat image from the flash turned out to be an image on the man's ugly Christmas style sweater.

" Bud, are you all right? " Elder Rogers asked and approached him, aiding his fellow elder to stand up. " How did you get here? "

The old man began to summon his hands and fingers in sign language, " My name is Veelic...I think it is so hard to remember. Fear, darkness, loud booms, blue and pink skins, and fanged bipedal beasts. Decades have been lost. "

Elder Rogers tried to comprehend the homeless man's response and remembered meeting up a deaf and mute military personnel before the prolonged Kree-Lizard invasion. He thought deeply about his response and summoned both his hands and fingers.

" I'm Steve Rogers, former Captain America. So, you're lost, I take it? " he replied. " We'll bring you to the facility in temporary custody. Someone will take care of you from now on. "

Veelic remained silent and understood of the former Avenger's response. He was trying to compose his thoughts. Rogers was puzzled and waiting for the other elder to make a response.

" All right, we can't waste any time. We'll get you out of here before anyone finds us, " Rogers noticed the long silence and added. " I don't want to extend my curfew time. "

Veelic nodded silently as his stomach made a growling sound and signed to Rogers asking a personal question, " They said you were given your powers in a lab. Did they treat you okay, Mr. Rogers? "

" Yes, that was more than a century ago, I was fine at that time and serving World War II against the Nazis. Why did you ask that? "

Veelic went limp and stared off into space as images of needles and electrical torture flashed in his mind the sound of screams silent to his torturers ears. He quickly shook his head, his tears increased, then went back to normal.

" No. No reason..." he signed hesitantly. " Just....curious..."

" Okay, right. I shall send you to the facility. I'll talk to Dr. Schnee first if you need any help. "

The former Avenger aided him to stand up and let him sit up on his motorcycle. Veelic remained silent and carefully placed his arms on the other elder. Elder Steve Rogers placed his both hands and pushed the pedal when the engines ignited. Veelic thought of something to disclose while they're on their way to Paris. While sitting peacefully on the back, he ripped the x shaped tape off his mouth and concentrated very hard trying to speak normally.

" Path.... ga.... hicsaf! " he wheezed and coughed, fixing his jumbled speech with great strain. " Mr. Rogers. I'm a...weapon...too....Sadly. "

Rogers looked puzzled and asked him, while driving, " Why is that? "

" Hard to talk normally. I was...a weapon....50s....Area...51....mental patient....severe depression....back...then...no rights....tortured...DNA ...altered..." he wheezed, starting to sweat from concentration as the autumn wind touched the two elders heads.

" What year was that? "

" 1952....escaped with three others. I...am...sadness... and despair...others..anger..joy...and...imagination. Combined with alien DNA. I'm older than you, Mr. Rogers, " Veelic coughed and replaced the tape on his mouth tired.

Elder Steve Rogers became more puzzled than ever upon hearing the other old man's story. He thought deeply of how Veelic endured those pain and remembered the younger Mr. Montmartre's experiences in the Foundation Facility. The former Avenger knew how Amnon was terribly affected when he shared his testimony to Group Therapy.

" Okay, I met someone who had a trauma like yours, but you will meet him every Sunday, " he nodded and asked another. " By the way, how did you get here? "

Veelic's face was flooded with fear. That question cornered him as he never wanted to disclose anything from Kasius himself. He had to divert the former Avenger's question, preventing to speak the truth about his Kree-Lizard involvement. He was frantically signing in his response.

" I....can't...No no no no no no no no no! "

" I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get any information from you. It's okay. I'll ask Dr. Schnee first and let's see how we can help you from your trauma. I think these invaders made you a slave. Oh, well. Nevermind. "

" I was on my way to find my true liege. He called me, but I'm stuck here as a slave for those mad men. I was unable to answer, driving me mad. He is calling us all back home. "

" Your liege? Who? "

Veelic looked sadly and pointed at the sky, " Psychowrath....king of the Psychowrathians. My savior from the bad people.."

" Right, " Rogers nodded and kept driving. " That's what we need to discuss later. Anything else? What's your purpose? "

" My voice....dangerous...other than that killing time....till he arrives...maybe arrives. "

" He? Who are you referring to? "

" I can't get to space by myself. Usually when one of us is missing the prince comes looking for us. Oddly, he is taking much longer than usual..." Veelic signed concerned.

" A prince? "

" Son of my liege. Not the best fighter...Well, yes and no... on that.....depends...a man of multiple talents. I'm not supposed to say his name to anyone outside our circles.." Veelic signed, giving Rogers a salute. " No disrespect meant, Mr. Rogers. "

" Aside from the prince? Are you looking for his father, the King? "

" I wouldn't worry about my liege as he is powerful. In fact he never leaves home world. My liege walked the earth thousands of years ago, but did not like it much. There was another prince of planet Hala that I have been searching too. "

Elder Steve Rogers raised an eyebrow and became perplexed when Veelic spoke of two princes of different worlds. He kept gliding on the highway going to the City of Lights. The former Avenger was deeply thinking of some questions coming from the elder.

" So, you're talking about a Psychowrathian prince, now a Kree prince? " he curiously asked.

" Yes and no not at this point....maybe but maybe not....tainted with darkness his being is now two. Classified information. I'm afraid but my liege has already predicted how the prince will act, " Veelic signed patiently. " Nothing to do but wait..."

" This is pretty vague. I don't even get what you're saying. "

" Well, you're not in my circle, I can only reveal my mission as a knight if you've been knighted. Nobody knows where that Kree prince is. "

" Strange, Indeed. Maybe, he's the prince who can save the world. "

" Anyone can save the world if they try evil or good, these black and white concepts do not exist as they are illusions. "

" Look, Veelic, " Rogers sighed in reply. " I need to find out who this Kree prince you are referring to. He might be somewhere else in this world hiding from his fellow people. "

" He calls himself Prince Brocade in our legends, but I know that's not his true name, " Veelic responded. " He hides it well. Nobody knows where he is right now. "

" Well. I'd better find that prince myself, " the former Avenger said and eyed on the skies, while driving. " Maybe, he has answers to this prolonged problem. "

(12:35 AM)

Just under the dark starry skies, Old Methu-Selah was peacefully levitating in a sitting position and meditating. In his deep quietness, his Kree cosmic awareness gave him a vision that would happen anytime to his son. He saw a group of people hurting the young man in the room. The Kree Eternal noticed a strange elderly man among them who started the trouble. Amnon ended up being beaten by the crowd and yelled in excruciating pain. The young pink Kree man was wailing for help. Methu-Selah couldn't stand seeing his son getting hurt and attempted to extend his arms, sparing him from trouble.

The Kree Eternal instantly widened his eyes from that vision and placed his feet on the ground. He placed his arms on the balcony and stared at the darkness of Paris when he sadly sighed and thought deeply of what would happen in the coming days. Suddenly, his blonde half-Kree girlfriend walked over to him and remained sleepless. She just came after seeing her son sleeping peacefully after helping him take his medications.

" Sleepless? " Carol curiously tilted her head and asked.

" Sleep is very pointless to me at times like this, Car-Ell, " her ancient blue skinned boyfriend seriously spoke.

" Like father, like son. You boys have seen a lot of bad things. Yet, both of you managed to lighten things up. "

" I try to smile in the midst of this troubled planet in your Solar System. Every time I speak of visions using my different personas, some of them believed, but the others ridiculed me, " Methu-Selah deeply sighed. " Everything has come true, a good and bad outcome."

Carol intently listened at her boyfriend and looked at him with concern. She crossed her arms and waited for him to speak up.

" I just let Amnon see that dreaded event on this planet, " he continued. " He couldn't believe it at first, but he got the gist of it. "

" I'd just remembered that evening when our son began to see visions like yours, " Carol broke her silence. " He saw you getting involved in the attack in Ethiopia a couple of months ago. He'd just unleashed his Kree Cosmic Awareness after Dr. Vandark had let him enter that chamber. "

" Now, that explains Amnon unleashing his ability. "

" He was scared at first to use that ability, but it had helped him to meet you, " she smiled and nodded. Then, the elderly half Kree woman curiously asked, " Methie, is there something bothering you? Care to tell me? "

Methu-Selah remained silent and thought deeply of his vision about Amnon which could possibly happen in a few days from now. His eyebrows angrily crossed and touched the balcony, seeing the stars. Carol waited for him to respond and sensed his uneasiness. The Kree Eternal heavily sighed and refused to tell what he had seen. He had no choice, but to tell her.

" Methie? "

" Carol, our son will end up in trouble in his group therapy, " he anxiously broke his silence.

" What do you mean? " Carol asked, intrigued.

" Someone will stir up his new friends there and cause them to be beaten up. "

Carol was close-mouthed and sadly bowed her head, heavily sighing. That prediction had definitely alarmed her. The memory of that attack by Buck Henderson and his troopers was still vivid as she couldn't forget what they had done to Amnon. She pondered and planned for what they could possibly do and prevent that from happening. The elderly blonde sincerely smiled and knew what to do. She was firmly holding her blue skinned boyfriend's hands. The Kree Eternal was surprised to see the gesture.

" Methie, we can prevent this for sure, " she calmly assured. " We won't let that happen to him. "

Methu-Selah secretly read her mind and smiled back, " I know what you're implying. It seems you have an idea. "

" Absolutely. "

(Four Days Later, 2:00 PM)

Uldrin Vanasoul arrived early, patiently sat down, and anticipated for his friends to enter the session room. He never realized that he saw another person sitting at the chair beside the window. The grey haired Remnite Inhuman was suspiciously looking at the elderly newcomer as he became more restless to meet him. Samara Ironwood-Allard just arrived, looked concerned at him, and sat beside the other Remnite.

" Uldrin, are you all right? " she curiously asked.

" I felt sketchy with this guy over there, " he whispered. " Do you know who he is? "

" No, we'd better approach him while waiting for the others to come in. Like we're going to have a chit-chat with him. "

Samara and Uldrin turned to the newcomer and thought of approaching him. The elderly stranger's eyes began to tear up as a soft crying whimper could be heard coming from his mouth as he sat down to self sooth. He pulled out a locket with a handsome looking man in a sweater vest with black styled hair playing a violin as his tears intensified. The two Remnites shared glances and found him odd in his current disposition.

" Hi? " Uldrin curiously raised his voice, greeting him and giving him a warm smile. " Are you okay? "

The elderly newcomer looked up and nodded, not sure if the person speaking to him would know sign language. Instead, he did rapid charades pointing to the sky and making ship motions. They didn't know what he was signing. Uldrin kept scratching his beard and looked at Samara, giving her a confused look.

" Wait? What is he talking about? " he asked.

" We need an interpreter, Uldrin, " the nurse suggested. " This guy could only communicate through signs. "

" Right, I suppose he or she could help him. "

Suddenly, the dark skinned twins from India arrived and kept talking when Uldrin and Samara noticed them. Chandresh and Arnav turned their attention to the newcomer as they were supposed to greet the other two.

" Chan-Chan, do you know who's that guy? " Arnav curiously asked.

" Why do I know?! " Chandresh shrugged and sternly eyed the elderly man. " Did the MTF and Rebel Forces bring him here with us for some reason? "

" Maybe or maybe not..."

" I hope he's not a load of trouble like me or you. "

" Me, a load of trouble?! "

" Just kidding! " Chandresh loudly laughed as Arnav sighed to his embarrassment.

At that humorous sentence being uttered from the Indian twins, the elderly man shot them a dirty look, his tears ebbing slightly due to being annoyed. Then, he turned to face a wall ignoring the others around him in an offended manner. Arnav glared at his older twin brother and approached the man.

" Hello! " the younger bespectacled twin brother warmly greeted him and waved his hands. " I'm Arnav Patel. This is my brother Chandresh. I'm sorry if we are being offensive and annoying. What's yours? "

The elder crossed his arms and remained silent, avoiding the twin brothers. Arnav raised his eyebrows and looked at his older twin with concern.

" Arnav, I don't think he's very responsive, " Chandresh seriously interjected.

" But I'm being friendly to him, Chan-Chan. "

" He may be just like us, but to a severe degree. "

" Oh... he needs to see Dr. Schnee right now. "

" I think he is, mate, " a scarlet haired mutant broke her silence and arrived along with another elderly brunette man with red spectacled lens and a dark haired Englishwoman.

" By the looks of it, Rahne, " Lila Cheney said and looked at the newcomer with concern.

" Right. " Elder Scott Summers nodded.

The elderly man clutched his head in pain as a message played psychically in his mind screaming at him, " Calling all Psychosis Knights back to the home world. Cliche accounted for Veelic. Damn-sel Fury and Twisted. Please respond. Code 5778...." Under the tape, the elderly fellow gritted his teeth waiting for it to pass.

" I want to return. Trust me. I do, but I have no way to get there, " the man thought in frustration running his hands through his aged silver hair. " Having to rely on shady Kree and Lizards is such a drag..."

" What is he doing? " Rahne asked, intrigued.

" I'm trying to read his mind, " Lila answered and felt baffled by seeing him. " He seems too disturbing. I don't know why. "

" Perhaps, he's one of these guys who spied on us, " Elder Summers suspiciously glared at him and added, sitting down on the chair and crossing his arms.

" Scott! " his female companions called him out.

" I'm just saying! "

Suddenly, a young blonde man arrived with the African-American therapist and the other elderly man who were talking while entering the room. Veelic turned his attention to the three gentlemen who had just arrived. Elder Rogers and Dr. Schnee took their seats and greeted everyone. Amnon sat along with Uldrin, Arnav, Chandresh, and Samara. The other three mutants turned to the two therapists.

" Good afternoon, everyone. We have a newcomer here, " Dr. Schnee said and turned to Veelic. " Please introduce yourself. "

Veelic signed and bowed, " I am Veelic and well it is nice to be welcomed for a change. I'm not used to such kindness..."

Elder Rogers carefully looked at the sign language and verbally translated them for the others to understand. Then, he called out to everyone to introduce themselves.

" Uldrin Vanasoul, it's nice to meet you, " the grey haired bearded man smiled and greeted.

" Samara Ironwood-Allard, " the dark haired Remnite lady added.

" Chandresh Patel. My brother just introduced himself a while ago, " the bearded Indian seriously spoke

" Rahne Sinclair of Krakoa, " the scarlet haired elderly lady introduced herself and smiled.

" Lila Cheney, former singer and member of the X-Men and Rebel Forces, " the other dark haired lady said.

" Scott Summers, a widower for fifty years, " the other elderly mutant blandly added. " There's nothing much to discuss about myself. "

" Amnon Montmartre, it's nice to join with us, sir. " the blonde pink Kree stood up, introduced, and offered him a handshake.

Veelic shook the pink skinned Kree' s hand when the dark memories from him flooded the elderly man's mind for a few seconds. Then, he thought, " I see..."

" Uhhh? " Amnon cocked his eyebrows and creeped out, immediately taking away his left hand from Veelic. Then, he returned to his seat and became uneasy to deal with the newcomer. He turned to his seatmates and gave them a nervous look.

" He's trying to be friendly, " Arnav grinned and chuckled. " What's wrong with that, Amnon? "

" I know, Arnav. Nothing. "

" All right, " Elder Rogers smiled and turned to everyone's attention. " Perhaps, let's make time for Veelic before we can start our session. "

" So, Veelic. Can you share with us your story? " Dr. Schnee asked.

Veelic shrugged and queried in sign language, " Beginning, middle or current? It's all rather sad and dark..."

" Yes, go on..." the former Avenger nodded in agreement. " I'll translate for you. "

The rest of the group became intrigued and suspicious at Veelic. Amnon began to shake in fear uncontrollably. Uldrin gently patted the pink Kree's shoulders to calm himself down.

" No need. Why explain when I can show you, " Veelic grabbed the x shaped tape on his mouth and slowly removed it. Then, he cleared his voice and spoke in absolute gibberish. " Tso viuf, loanc gin...."

The eyes of the group around him dilated as a vision of a lab appeared with Veelic strapped to a board overwhelmed their senses. They moved their heads around and witnessed the beginnings of this newcomer. Amnon was still shaking in fear, holding his forehead, and loudly screaming as this scenario reminded him of the Foundation Facility in California. Uldrin and Arnav noticed their friend who was panicking in distress.

" My life ended and began in the early 1950s so to speak. I was brought to the lab from a psycho ward called Shady Acres. Well, it was me anyway, " he narrated. "The government wanted super soldiers. They could only legally test the serum on someone who had no rights because I was crazy. "

" Hey, Amnon. Are you okay?! " the grey haired Inhuman asked with concern.

" Scientists, MTF Troopers...T-they're everywhere! " the Kree yelled in fear.

" What is he talking about? " Lila asked.

" His past, I think, " Rahne answered and turned her attention to Amnon in distress.

" This isn't right, " Samara crossed her arms.

" Get away! Get away! Get away! GET AWAY FROM ME!! "

" Dr. Schnee, Mr. Rogers! " Arnav cried. " Amnon needs help! "

" What the?! " Elder Rogers exclaimed in shock.

" Amnon, this is just a memory from Veelic, " Dr. Schnee calmly reminded. " You told me you took your medication this morning, right? "

" 682, 682, 682!! "

Veelic put his hand on Amnon's left hand and absorbed some of his trauma trying to help him calm down. Elder Rogers and the others watched his act. In the pink Kree's perspective, he saw illusions of SCP-682, the MTF Troopers and scientists, Psycho, Darkvile, the Kree-Lizard legion, Kasius the blue tyrant, Draco Nephthys, and the other tormentors, instead of the group therapy people. He was trembling in fear that he couldn't tolerate the illusions surrounding him.

" No! Get away from me! " the Kree loudly cried and grabbed his hands away from the old man. " DON'T YOU DARE TO GET NEAR ME! "

The old man sighed and re taped his mouth, signing, " I was only trying to help you, boy. You reek of negative energy. It's not healthy. I'm always sad,so I should know..."

" What do you want from me?! Tell me! Are you going to bring me back to Kasius and kill me?! "

" Amnon, calm down, " Chandresh seriously added and held his friend's shoulders.

" Cousin, we're here... We're here..." Samara gently rubbed at the young Kree's back.

Elder Scott Summers felt sorry for the young man and glared at Veelic. He realized that he terrorized the boy several days ago. He approached him and asked, " What the hell did you do to this kid?! TELL ME! "

Veelic glared offended at the accusing man and signed, " I tried to help him. He is in great emotional and mental pain. Can't you even tell? I see. So are you....her death still haunts you. Who is she? Pretty and powerful, indeed. I see, so that's it."

" Don't you ever dare to tell me about my late wife! " the elderly mutant sharply yelled and radiated his eyes. " You will see your demise! "

" Scott! " Lila and Rahne called him to stop and grabbed his both arms.

" Why don't you..."

" Goodness! " Elder Rogers cried and asked the newcomer. " Veelic, what did you do? You're supposed to cooperate with us! What's going on?! "

" See, all I do is offend people. I'm worse than garbage. I'm trash. I apologize..." he signed when his tears overflowed, soaking the floor.

Amnon was sulking in fear and sadness as the memories from the MTF to Slave Den had haunted him. He looked at Elder Summers and said, " Mr. Summers, kill me! I'm nothing, but pain and misery! Please end my life! "

" Kid, what the hell?! " Summers yelled and shook him. " I can't do this! You're Danvers's son! "

" I DON'T CARE! KILL ME, PLEASE!! "

" Amnon, please don't think of this! " Uldrin added. " We're all here! "

Veelic looked at the three men and sadly sighed. Elder Summers was contemplating killing the young man. The rest of the group was distraught of fear and confusion.

" KILL ME, BECAUSE I AM BROKEN!! "

Veelic turned to Amnon and signed, " That's no way to think even if I'm stuck thinking that way permanently myself. At least, you had friends and good words. Sometimes friends can be worse than enemies. "

Veelic removed his tape and began to speak gibberish. Everyone in the room began to trip and looked at Amnon. Instead of seeing him, an imagery of the same monster was present. Then, they jumped up in shock. Samara knew it was just an illusion and looked at Uldrin, implying another strategy.

" Mr. Summers! " Amnon cried.

" Damn you! " the elderly mutant removed his glasses and released the bright red laser beams to attack the young Kree.

Amnon quickly dodged from the X-Man's attacks. Suddenly, Uldrin came to interfere with the mutant and phased into the mutant's body in defending the boy and controlling his radiant eye attacks. Summers couldn't break free from the Inhuman's control and angrily gritted his teeth.

" LET ME GO! " he spat.

" Don't you dare to take him down! " Uldrin indignantly warned. " I'm not gonna let you free if you control yourself! "

" FINE! "

Uldrin left the old mutant's body and stood beside Amnon, protecting him from the attacker. He clearly remembered the former Kree-682 hybrid's acts in saving him. Veelic angrily mumbled in gibberish, but still the Inhuman was unaffected from his nonsense.

" Amnon, listen to us, we will get you some help, " Elder Rogers said.

" Stay away from me! " Amnon loudly cried and continued seeing the illusions of his tormentors. " GO AWAY! PLEASE GO AWAY! "

Veelic spoke more gibberish as the room became wavy. Then, the smooth reflecting like a mirror was making all exits from the room vanish. The remaining group therapy members were too anxious and afraid to deal with the newcomer.

" I'm sorry, but no one can leave a funeral once I start one. In my line of work, witnesses are loose ends, " the reflections laughed evilly.

Summers' reflection smiled evilly and said, " It's our fault we watched her die in the invasion. We cannot save anyone! Oh my, such a failure! "

Elder Steve Rogers's reflection chuckled darkly and taunted, " Some called us a hero, but we know better, don't we?! At this point, we are senior citizens playing hero! "

" Damn you! " Rogers spat. " I'm no longer an Avenger! I'm a voluntary therapist and counselor! "

" Don't take this out on Veelic! He's not the one making you think such thoughts! We can only know what you're already thinking which means you know we..."

The other reflection chuckled and continued, "....Speak the truth."

" SHUT UP! "

" Go away, damn you! " Summers furiously spat. " Get the hell outta my mind! "

" Arguing with oneself is a bad sign! Maybe you do need therapy! "

" SHUT THE F#(K UP! "

Chandresh and Arnav joined their fellow Inhuman and defended Amnon from the troublemaker along with Samara, Dr. Schnee, and the other two mutants. They witnessed the two elders yelling in fear. The pink Kree helplessly watched the worst scenario in the group therapy session and kept murmuring of his detractors who had mentally afflicted him.

" Go away, please go away! Go away! " Amnon repetitively uttered in fear.

" Lad, we're here to protect you from him, " Rahne assured. " We're going to find a way to get all of us out of here. "

" Everyone, I'm going to deal with this myself, " the African-American therapist took his deep breath and looked at the group.

" But, Dr. Schnee! " Lila interjected.

" Better doing this, than nothing, " Dr. Schnee seriously spoke and confronted Veelic in warning, " Look, you're harming three people! This is enough! We all need a time out from your mess you made! "

Veelic directly spoke in gibberish to the doctor as scorpions crawled up his shirt and the floor became unstable under his feet, seeming to give way to a bottomless pit.

" Yeah, I almost forgot about you, sir, " he sighed.

" What the?! HELP! " the psychotherapist loudly yelled.

Looking at the four men being tormented, Chandresh couldn't stand the psychological warfare. The Indian inhuman readied himself to attack the troublemaker as the others warned him.

He angrily spat, " That's it! I'm gonna finish him off! "

" Chandresh, do you even think you can do that?! " Lila asked with concern. " We don't want you to get involved with this mess. "

" I don't care, " the dark skinned Inhuman stressedly replied. " I have to make him go away for good! "

" Good luck, lad, " Rahne added.

Chandresh angrily clenched his fists and thought of making him into a strong gravitational pull. Veelic turned in the direction of Chandresh and spoke gibberish but it seemed to have no effect.

" What?! " he signed frantically. " Impossible?! How can you have no insecurities to exploit?! Tell me?! "

" Make me! "

" You can do it, Chan-chan! " Arnav happily cheered.

Veelic backed away in fear of this strangely immune person and howled out loud, " Stay away from me!!! "

Chandresh was about to attack him when suddenly something was holding back at him. The gibberish voice from Veelic influenced him to attack his younger twin brother, bringing back his memories of the past until they decided to reconcile. The older twin brother controlled his powers and repetitively punched his younger twin's gut. Arnav moaned in pain and tried to stop his brother.

" Chan, stop! Stop! " Arnav cried. " HELP! "

Looking at the trouble, Uldrin felt sorry for his tormented friends and the other women who were terrified. Veelic was behind all of these as the Inhuman didn't want to interfere with the elderly man's body. Finally, the grey haired Inhuman thought of phasing out of this room and asking for help from someone. He immediately left without being noticed.

Samara stood beside Amnon who remained in great distress and mumbled. She kept hugging him. Rahne and Lila exchanged glances as they were contemplating taking down their fellow elder. They all understood he could bring more harm than good. Veelic turned to the three women who were protecting the pink Kree from him. Then, he began to swerve trying hard to stay on his feet as the beads of sweat formed on his forehead from pure concentration. He was trying to speak in gibberish to them.

" Lila, perhaps, you can sing for him, " Rahne suggested by whispering in her friend's ear.

" Are you kidding me, Rahne?! " Lila doubtfully spoke and found it ridiculous. " I can't do that right now! What if he speaks in strange words, he might do something like these blokes here. "

" Maybe, you can give it a try. "

" No, I don't think so! "

" Ladies, I don't think that's effective, " Samara added and held her younger troubled cousin in her arms. " This would make another ruckus. "

" How are we going to deal with him? "

" We have to wait for Uldrin to come with us. "

Upon hearing the three women's conversation, Veelic became more troubled to deal with them than earlier. He was about to speak another gibberish word, but he couldn't do it since they were waiting for Uldrin's next move. Then, the illusions slowly began to fade and come back slightly as the strain was taking its toll on the poor old man.

" Too many...tarrrrrrgets!!! " he moaned, passing out cold when the illusions gradually vanished. " Why?! Why?! "

" Please go away. Please go away. Please go away, " Amnon said in fear and wept.

Samara ignored the elderly man's ranting and lowly whispered to Amnon, " Help is on the way. Everything will be fine after this. "

Finally, the blue skinned man with long silvery hair and his blonde girlfriend immediately entered the room along with Uldrin. Samara turned to her aunt as she sighed in relief and stood beside Amnon for a long time. The couple stood in between their blonde son who was still dazed and distressed, repetitively mumbling. They turned to the old troublemaker and illuminated their hands with photon energy from their light souls. Veelic was gulping, trembling in fear, and noticing the Kree couple's unexpected and threatening arrival.

" Where's that bothersome oaf? " the elderly half-Kree blonde defiantly asked.

" There, he is. " Uldrin directly pointed at him. " He's the one who started this ruckus. "

" Thank you, " the Kree Eternal nodded and turned to Carol. " We have to spare Amnon and the others away from him. "

" Got it, " she nodded.

Veelic instantly passed out on the floor. The faint sound of snoring emitting from his untaped mouth, but also occasionally non -gibberish words. He was so afraid that the newcomers would kill him.Methu-Selah and Elder Carol Danvers shared glances after they heard him speaking.

" My liege....sorry.....mission! The Kree and Lizards promised me something! "

" It's about time! " Carol exclaimed in her eagerness and kept illuminating her fists, toasting the old man.

" No, wait! " Methu-Selah paused his radiant energy and secretly read the intruder's mind.

" Methie, this is what I have thought of and then you predicted that our son will be in great danger because of him! "

" Carol, there must be another way to stop him. "

" Now, what?! "

" Deal with Amnon, I'll take him. "

Carol sighed and nodded no furiously when she stood beside her son and niece. The other two women watched the Kree Eternal approaching the elderly man. The other men paused their sudden distress and remained speechless.

" Now, what do you want? Why are you doing this?! " Methu-Selah indignantly asked.

Veelic continued sleeping and mumbled his answer in his sleep, " Trying to get to home world! The king is calling us knights home and missing pick up! The Kree Overlord and the Lizards promised me a ship if Amnon-Selah dies! "

The Kree Eternal frowned and heard as he was unsatisfied with the elderly man's answers. He instantly grabbed Veelic's collar and indignantly glared at him. Veelic snapped awake as he was about to summon the tape back over his mouth. Methu-Selah gave him a deadly glare forcing him to speak up in non-gibberish.

" Why did you involve my son in this trouble? Haven't you realized he's trying to cope with his life for the second time?! " he angrily queried.

" I had no choice! I am not strong like the others, too old, feeble, and weak. It was either kill him or he would kill me! I'm not usually violent by nature! I was trying to help him confront his negativity! "

" But you're not even helping him! Who asked you to kill my son?! TELL ME?! "

" Ka..." Veelic shakingly spoke. " Ka..."

" WHO?! "

" KASIUS!! "

Methu-Selah's face grew the most furious at this moment upon hearing the madman's descendant. Carol heard it as she said nothing while pacifying her son and helping him return to his senses. The rest of the people in the Group Therapy overheard the conversation between the intruder and the Kree Eternal.

" DAMMIT! " he pouted.

" It's true! He asked me to kill the child and his family for his benefit! "

" I am not going to kill you, " he sternly said. " I will let you go. Stay away from Kasius and his legion. Run away! "

" Methu-Selah of Hala, please put my son down..." a powerful male voice telepathically and calmly spoke. " I know you are so upset by this sudden act he's made. Please forgive us. We mean no harm to a few good Kree men like you. "

The Kree Eternal carefully placed him down and let Veelic go as he immediately ran away. Amnon was shaking in fear and weeping as his mother hugged him. Samara sighed in relief, seeing her aunt and cousin reunited after this conflict. Finally, the illusions of Amnon's detractors had vanished as he returned to his normal senses and clearly saw his mother's face.

" M-Mom....I...." he shakingly spoke and bitterly wept, leaning his head to her shoulders.

" It's okay, we're here. " Carol shushed him and gently kept rubbing his back. " We're here. "

Elder Scott Summers had completely understood and felt sorry for the pink Kree when he sadly sighed and looked at him. Uldrin and the others felt the same way upon seeing Amnon and his mother. Elder Rogers intently eyed Methu-Selah and his family, remembering the conversation with Veelic about the mysterious Kree prince. Dr. Schnee sighed in relief and managed to return to his seat.

" Thank you for sparing one of my children. It took me forever to pinpoint his location, " the voice continued. " I do hope he did not cause too much trouble. I will send one of the other knights to bring him home. Then, I apologize for his behavior. Psychowrathians like us don't always mean to do and what we do on purpose. We know your son has witnessed and involved so many hardships. Therefore, we will not terribly interfere with his endeavours and aspirations. "

" Your son is enslaved by them. Mine has been there and gets involved in his time of recovery, " Methu-Selah replied and approached Amnon and his girlfriend, hugging them. " My own kind and their reptilian friends made them victims. On behalf of the Kree race, my sincerest apologies. "

" It's indeed a sad affair. I'm working on your race and lizard issues on this planet, but I'm being held up by blasted paperwork and what not, old bean. "

" Somehow, my son is the rightful Prince of Hala in your legends. "

" Absolutely, it makes sense. We have many legends and he is rather famous. Omnipotence is rather rusty in my skill set, but I can still see beyond the sixth wall, rather a sticky wicket. Well, you're all in just like your boy. If it wasn't for the confusing paperwork, help would have found you already on my end. NOW, what can you do? " the voice said with a sigh.

" My son has a lot of work to do before he attains his calling. I shall guide him before I pass away, " the Kree Eternal replied and placed his arms around his family.
