Arabella's POV

I was certainly sitting on the couch playing with my 3DS while my dad was rewatching his interview with the news. He was upset he couldn't find the Phone Shark and it bothered him....like a lot.

The elevator doors open and I saw a nervous Henry. I smiled at him setting down my 3DS and waved.

"Hi Henry."

He waved at me. "Hey Bella." He clears his thought. "Ray?"

I stand up and my dad looked at him while slurping a noddle.

"Henry." Ray says. "I didn't know you were working today. Did Bella or I butt beep you?"

"Mines in my room so it must've been you." I tell my dad and he rose an eyebrow in confusion.

"No." Henry denies. "Can I talk to you both about something?"

"Babies come from the bay store and Bella is not interested!" Ray answered, covering his ears.

"What?!" I exclaim. "Never happening, Henry."

"It's not about that and I don't wanna date Bella. No offense." Henry looks at me sheepishly and I shrug.

"None taken." I reply. "What's up?"

My dad seemed relived about Henry not wanting to date me.

"You know my friend, Charlotte." Henry begins and I smirk.

"Yeah." Ray says.

"Yeah, she seems cool." I add.

"Yeah, well, she's like, really smart." Henry continues and I stare at him with confusion. "And she...kind of figured out..."

"Figured out what?" My dad asks, not looking at Henry.

"That...I'm Kid Danger."

My dad and I looked at Henry in shock an I dropped my 3DS.

Oh no. My 3DS may of broke and Henry may get fired.

Henry fake laughed. "Isn't that kooky?"

"Definitely." I reply with a fake grin.

"Yeah! What did you tell her?" My dad asks and I could see the anger in his eyes behind his smile.

"That I am...Kid Danger." Henry admits and I bit my lip.

"Oooooooo." My dad nods. "Interesting."

"You're not mad, right?" Henry asks.

"Mad? No." My dad laughs and Henry seemed relieved.

"Cool."

That's a lie.

"You're fired." My dad concludes before standing up and walking away.

"Dad. Now wait." I stop him, standing up.

"Fired?" Henry asks with shock and disbelief.

"That's right. You can leave your watch on the table there." My dad suggests and I gap at him.

"Dad, please." I beg.

"But, I swear I didn't want to tell her!" Henry pleads. "She figured it out!"

"Henry...you took an oath." My dad says and Henry looks down, sorrowfully.

"I know, but..." Henry sighs.

"You promised me and my daughter you wouldn't tell anyone." My dad tells him. "And I trusted you to keep that promise. When trust is broken. it can never be fixed."

I look down sadly and hold my arms close. I don't want Henry to leave, he's my first real friend I've ever had.

"Yes it can!" Henry defends.

My dad got out a fortune cookie and handed it to Henry.

"Open this cookie and read the fortune." My dad tells him.

Henry opens the cookie and reads the fortune. "When trust is broken, it can never be fixed."

"Let's not argue with the Chinese." My dad concludes and walks toward the stairs. "Goodbye, Henry. Let's go, Bella."

"Dad, "I trail off and he looks at me sternly.

"Now. You won't talk to Henry again." My dad says and my eyes filled up with tears.

"But..." I say and glance at Henry. "Bye Henry."

"Bye Arabella."

I reluctantly follow my dad up the stairs and sigh.

I trailed behind my father for a bit before I stopped and ran out to see Henry.

I saw him going toward the elevator and went up to him

"Henry!" I quietly yelled and he turned to me.

"Bella, what is it?" He asks and I hug him close. He was shocked and hugged back.

"I'm sorry about all this. We'll figure this out and you'll be Kid Danger again." I tell him and I felt him smile against my shoulder.

"Thanks." He says and I pull away.

"Thank you for being my first real friend." I admit and he grins. "I'll see ya soon hopefully."

"You will." He declares. "I promise.

I smile at him before letting ago and running up the stairs.

The following day, I was still upset about Henry being fired. My dad is overreacting, and has to know Henry didn't mean to tell Charlotte he's Kid Danger. Henry and I are texting each other still, despite my dad saying we can't.

My dad was taking a shower and I was sitting at the monitor watching Friends. It's my favorite show.

The elevator doors open and I assumed it was Gooch.

"What is it, Gooch?" I asked, not looking away from the screen.

"It's not Gooch."

I turned and saw Henry.

"Henry!" I beam and run toward him. We hug and I smile brightly at him. "What are you doing here?"

"I need your help. Come on." He grabs my wrist and I stop him.

"With what?" I ask. "My dad doesn't want me leaving."

"I'll explain later and he won't find out." Henry smiles. "Now come on."

We got into the elevator and left the store.

So, Henry told me that Charlotte found the Phone Shark, and she wants Henry to catch him, so Captain Man will hire him again.

I've never met Charlotte but she seems very clever. I like her already.

Henry and I went to Swellview Park, and we saw Charlotte hiding behind a bench. She was investigating a wedding.

"What's going on?" Henry asks and she pulls him down, so I go down too.

"Check out that guy standing by the groom." Charlotte suggests, and Henry looks through her binoculars.

Charlotte looks at me and was taken back.

"Who's this?" She asks.

"I'm-"

"She's Captain Man's daughter, Arabella." Henry tells her in a hush voice.

"Henry, why did-oh never-mind." I shake my head.

"Woah!" Charlotte beams. "So, you're the secret daughter no one knows the identity of?"

"That's me." I smile. "So, what's happening?"

"There's a guy with crazy teeth." Henry tells us and hands me the binoculars.

I look through them and spot a bald dude with crazy teeth.

"Yeah, he's the Phone Shark." Charlotte informs us.

"Woah." Henry and I gasp.

"That does look like him." I nod and hand Henry the binoculars.

"It is him." Charlotte says and looks at Henry. "Now, do Captain Man a favor and go catch the Phone Shark."

"Kid Danger." I add, nudging his arm and Henry grins at me.

Henry pulls out his gum and takes out a piece, chucking it in his mouth.

"What up with the gum?" She asks and I motion her to be quiet.

"Just watch." I tell her as Henry hides behind a tent.

"Anybody watching?" He asks and I shake my head.

"You're good."

"Why?" She asks and Henry blows the bubble and he pops it. He turns into Kid Danger and I smile.

"Heck yeah." I say and Charlotte was shocked.

"Woah. How does that whole costume fit inside one little gumball?" Charlotte asks and I was taken back by that.

Now I'm confused, and need to ask my dad a few questions.

"Just...just wait there, alright?" Henry tells us before running off to crash the wedding.

I didn't pay attention to the wedding itself, it was quite boring to me. I saw Henry or Kid Danger approach the wedding.

"Hey, congratulations!" Henry shouts and all of them gasp in shock and mutter silently.

"Young man... this wedding isn't over." The marriage officiant informs him.

"I know, I just wanted to show that hairless guy, my brand new phone!" Henry whips out his phone. "That's never been bitten!" The Phone Shark licked his lips, and I was revolted by the sight. "Come on! Yeah! You know you want to bite it!" Henry smells the phone and the Shark comes closer. "Gotta love the new phone smell! Henry continued to bribe the Shark until he gave in.

"Give it to me!"

"Catch it!" Henry threw it in the air and the Shark looked up, but Henry tackled him to the ground.

Everyone started to freak out and panic as the Shark got up and spun Henry around. I cringed when the wife got knocked down but Henry was able to get the Shark down and people surrounded them. I gasp when the Phone Shark stood up unharmed and snarled loudly.

"Hey! Hey! Come on, Phone Shark!" Henry bribed, holding his phone. The Shark ran to tackle Henry, but he moved away, and the Shark landed on the present table. Charlotte and I jumped back at the contact and I covered my mouth.

"Phone Shark down!" A person called and everyone cheered.

Henry was flattered and smiled. He looks at me an I gave him a thumbs up.

Kid Danger saved the day. I knew he could do it.

"Kid Danger, how were you able to locate and finally apprehend the Phone Shark?"

"Well, I'd love to take all the credit, but it was really my boss, Captain Man, who made it all happen." Kid Danger/Henry informed he interviewer.

"Interesting. Can you tell us more?" She asked him.

"No."

My dad muted the tv and turned to Henry with shock.

"You gave me all the credit?" He asks.

"Well, everyone's been giving you a hard time about not catching the Phone Shark." Henry explains. "I figured I'd you out."

"Excuse me." We all looked at Charlotte, who was siting in a chair near a mechanical cart. "I'm the one who found the Phone Shark."

"It's true, she did." I agree with a grin and my dad groaned loudly.

"Ugh! Charlotte, Charlotte." My got up and walked closer. "What am I going to do with you?"

"I think it's pretty obvious." Charlotte says.

"What's that?"

"Give me a job here."

"YES!" I exclaim and they all look at me. "Sorry, I just want another girl here."

"You guys need me." Charlotte continues and my dad was unsure.

"First, I want to know how you found the Phone Shark." My dad says, crossing his arms and Henry did the same.

"Well, I figured no guy with normal teeth could bite through a phone, right?" Charlotte asked and I nodded in agreement.

My dad and Henry seemed smug about it. "Okay." My dad replied.

"So, I started calling every dentist in Swellview until I found one who told me he had a patient who asked for a whole mouthful of titanium teeth." Charlotte explains.

"We should've called some dentists." My dad snarls.

"Totally should've!" Henry agrees.

"Nice, going Charlotte." I compliment and she grins at me. "You're making these two seems like idiots."

"Excuse me, you were no help either missy." My dad sassed and I scoffed.

"I'm not a superhero, so it was not my job." I retorted and my dad remained quiet and just wrinkled his nose at me.

"Then, I hacked into the dentist's computer files, got the guy's name, and searched him online." Charlotte continued.

"Oh, we should've gone online!" My dad exclaims.

"What is wrong with us?" Henry asks.

"A lot." I deadpanned and Henry glares at me.

"Oh, and his last update said." Charlottes showed us her phone before reading. "Off to my brother's wedding in Swellview Park. Hope they serve phones for dessert. Lol."

"And then she called me and I picked up Bella." Henry finishes.

"She's good." Ray admits.

"She is." Henry agrees.

"And I could use another girl around here." I add and move next to Charlotte. "Also, she could really help us out around here."

"Us?" My dad asks, gesturing to Henry and my eyes shift away.

I forgot about that.

"Oh, right." Henry sighs. "You fired me."

"Dad, can you please forgive him?" I beg with puppy dog eyes.

My dad moves away and I could see the pain in his eye. "Well, he broke the oath."

"And I caught the Phone Shark." Henry adds. "Come on, Ray. Hire me back."

"Please, daddy." I pout and he looks me. He can't resist my puppy dog eye look.

"All right, you're rehired." My dad gives in and I smile brightly.

"Yay!"

"Yes!" Henry cheers and hugs my dad tightly.

Charlotte clears her throat. "Cough, cough, cough."

"Oh, right! What are you gonna do about, Charlotte?" I asked my dad and Henry smiles with hope.

My dad groaned for a bit before speaking. "Well, she knows you're Kid Danger, she knows who I am, she knows who Arabella is, and she knows where the Man Cave is because you two brought her down here!"

"So, what does that mean?" Charlotte asks.

"That we either have to kill you, erase your brain, or give you a job." My dad informs her and my eyes grew for a second.

"I vote job." Charlotte says with slight fear.

"We can really erase her brain?" Henry asks.

"How would you kill her?" I asked my dad.

"Guys!" Charlotte complains and I raise my hands up in defense.

"I'm just curious." I tell her.

"All right, she can have a job here." My dad gives in.

"Awesome!" Henry and I smile and Charlotte giggles.

"If!" We all jump at my dad's voice. "She can pass the pickle test."

Henry, Charlotte, and I look at each other.

I don't even know what this is, but I'm curious.

Bork, a friend of ours, was called out and screwed shut a pickle jar. I know Bork, he seems all tough and ruthless, but he's actually a softie on the inside.

"Thanks Bork!" I beam.

"Now grunt and exit!" My dad orders.

Bork grunts loudly before leaving.

"Charlotte, you must now prove you're clever enough to work for Captain Man." My dad begins.

"I found the Phone Shark." Charlotte replies.

"Well, anyone can do that." My dad mocks.

"Not you two." Charlotte fires back and I laugh.

"Hey, you know what." Ray snarls.

"Let's not go there again." Henry says.

"Please do." I grin and Henry nudges my side. "Owie..."

My dad pulls Charlotte in front of the pickle jar. "Now, to prove your worthiness, you must get that pickle out of that jar that Bork just power-screwed shut."

Can't she just smash it? I mean, that's sort of the only way, unless you have super strength.

"How much time does she have?" Henry asks and I look at Charlotte.

"Can't I just smash it?" She whispers to me and I nod.

"Yeah."

"Exactly five min-"

My dad got cut off by Charlotte smashing the jar on the cart.

"Here's you pickle." Charlotte hands my dad the pickle and I grin amusingly.

My dad seemed sad as he looked at the pickle. "That was Bork's favorite jar."

My dad walks away as he stared at the pickle.

"Wait, is Charlotte hired?" Henry asks and I smile with hope.

"Yeah, yeah, she's hired." My dad agrees, not paying attention.

"Yeah!" I cheer and the three of us high five happily.

"Wait, you want to see something cool?!" Henry asks and I glance at the tubes.

"Yeah!" Charlotte replies and we rush over to the tubes. Henry stands under one. "Stand under the other one and hug me, Bella."

I wrapped my arms around Henry, and Charlotte was confused.

"Trust me." Henry sighs and Charlotte stood under the other one, looking up.

Henry presses his belt buckle and wraps both his arms tightly around me as two tubes encases us.

"Woah!" Charlotte gasps.

"Up the tube!" Henry shouts and we were shot up.

Charlotte yelled in joy and fear as we flew through the tubes.
