Arabella's POV

It's hard to believe I'm already fifteen and that my dad has allowed me to go to Swellview High School with Henry, Charlotte, and Jasper. I don't like school, but I like spending time with my friends and Henry. My dad is protective of me, but he trusts Henry to keep me away from any harm or threats that could be potential after me. It is annoying, but they are superheroes it's their job to protect the people of Swellview.

It's been a week since I started at Swellview High and it hasn't been awful. Miss Sharpen is my history teacher and she's the weirdest teacher I have. I am struggling with English because of my Dyslexia and it's hard for me to read, but I'm pushing through it.

I was at my locker, putting my history book inside. I shut my locker and saw Henry approaching me and I smiled at the sight of the handsome sidekick.

"Hey, pretty thing." He greeted me.

"Hey, good looking." I greeted and he kissed my lips. "What's up?"

"Just looking at the most beautiful girl in the world." He flirted and leaned his arm against the lockers and gave me a grin. Sometimes Henry purposely tries to make himself look hotter than he already is and it's annoying.

"What do you want?" I asked and folded my arms. He gave me a look and lowered his arm.

"What do you mean?"

"Whenever you want or need something, you try to flatter me." I remark with a soft smile.

"I do not." He protested and I just looked at him. "Okay, fine..."

I giggled and adjusted my backpack on my shoulder.

He grabbed my hands and looked down at me. "So, we've been dating for over a month and we haven't gone on a date."

"Well, we technically have..." I tell him.

"I meant as a couple." He chuckles and I smile softly. "So, do you wanna go on a date this Saturday night?"

"Where?" I asked. "I'm not picky, just curious."

"You'll find out." He smiles and I groaned.

"Awww....why won't you tell me?" I asked him with a pout and dropped his hands.

"Because it's a surprise." He reasoned and I sighed. "And I know you love surprises."

"Definitely." I sarcastically reply and we both chuckle. "Well, I can't wait."

Henry kisses my cheek before walking off.

I'm so lucky.

Saturday Night

I was waiting in Junk-N-Stuff for Henry to pick me up and my dad was with me. He wanted to speak to Henry first, which confused me because we've been together for over a month and hasn't talked to him about our relationship.

"Cookie, can we talk?"

I nodded and sat down at the counter with my dad. "Yeah?"

"So, you and Henry are going on your first date as a couple and I just wanted to explain to you what happens between a boy and a girl when they meet and fall in love-"

"I'm not having this conversation!" I exclaim, standing up and he sighed with relief.

"Thank you!"

He kissed my head. "Tell Henry to have you home before eleven."

"Okay, but I thought you wanted to talk to Henry first?" I protested and my dad walked to the back.

"I changed my mind!"

I chuckled and waited patiently for Henry to arrive.

The door opened and Henry walked in, looking handsome as ever. His hair was styled, he was dressed in fancy clothes, and he gave me a soft smile.

Wow.

I stood up and revealed myself to Henry. His eyes grew in delight and I blushed as he stared at me.

"Wow." He said and I played with my pearl necklace. "You look stunning."

"Thank you." I giggle bashfully and he offers me his arm.

"Shall we?"

I accepted his arm and smiled. "We shall."

Henry and I arrived at the restaurant, but Henry wouldn't let me see where we were and I was a little annoyed.

"Don't let me fall." I giggled as he guided me. He pretended to let me go and I stumbled, but he caught me again and I hit his arm.

"Oops."

"You're such a goofball." I remark and he squeezed my side and I laughed. "Stop!"

"Shush." He chuckled and we continued forward until we came to abrupt stop.

"Okay, open your eyes."

I opened my eyes and I saw we were at the Cheesecake Warehouse

"Yay!" I giggled to turned to Henry, who was gazing own  at me. "This is my favorite restaurant!"

"I know." He smiles and wraps his arm around my shoulder. "Your dad told me and I knew we needed to have a date here."

"Aww." I smile. "Thank you."

"Anything for you."

I blushed, looking down.

"Come on." He led me inside and it was a beautiful restaurant.

I've been here a few times and it's always a sight to see. Not only is the food amazing, but the interior is amazing and the service is top tier.

"Table for 2." Henry told the waitress and she smiled at us.

"Follow me."

I took Henry's arm and we followed the waitress to our table. As we were walking, I noticed a man stare at me as we walked by and I purposely moved closer to Henry. I glanced back and saw him continue to stare at me.

This is creepy.

We got to our table and Henry pulled out my chair for me and I sat down as he sat down in front of me.

The woman put down our menus and walked away. I needed to use the restroom, but I wasn't comfortable leaving the table.

Henry was checking his phone and I looked behind me to see the creepy man was still looking at me. I looked back and cleared my throat.

"I'm gonna use the restroom." I tell Henry, getting up and he nodded.

"Don't fall in."

I rolled my eyes with a smile before walking off. "No promises."

Thankfully, the restroom was away from the man and I went right into the bathroom. I walked into the ladies room and into the stall.

I was tempted to text Charlotte and ask her about the creepy man, but she would just say let Henry deal with it. Also, the man hasn't done anything to me yet, so I can't go assuming anything. He just kept staring at me and I don't like it.

I finished my business and washed my hands before leaving the restroom. I yelped when a body blocked my way and I looked up and saw the creepy man.

I knew it.

"Hello..." I say nervously and tried to get by. "Excuse me..."

"You look good tonight." He commented and I uncomfortably shifted away from him and sneakily got a hold of my Whiz Watch. I'll shoot this man if he tries anything.

"Thanks, but I'm fifteen and taken." I tried to get by again, but he blocked me and I looked up nervously. The restroom was in the back, so no one was really around us to help.

"Fifteen? You seem older." He remarks. "I could give you a good time."

"Please leave me alone." I say and he suddenly grabs my arms roughly.

"You're not going anywhere." He snarled and I struggled against his grip and I couldn't access my watch.

"Hey!" I exclaimed and his left hand found its way to my chest and I whined. "Leave me alone!"

"I'm not done." He laughed and pressed me against the wall.

"Stop..." I begged and couldn't escape, no matter how much I fought him. "Please."

"I would leave the pretty girl alone if I were you."

The man stopped and we both saw Kid Danger standing there with an angry look on his face.

"He-Kid Danger!" I smiled softly, but the man grabbed me and I yelped.

People around us gasped when they saw Kid Danger and took out their phones to record the scene. Do they not see me getting assaulted here?!

"It's Kid Danger!"

"Woah!"

"Get him, Kid Danger!"

Henry took out his laser and shot the man with ease. He fainted and landed against the wall.

"Too easy." Henry smirked and the people around us cheered for him. I gripped my arms and they were red from the man's tight grip. Henry came up to me and he hugged me, without making it look romantic in any way. Can't let people know I'm dating Kid Danger or else it would cause problems.

"Thank you." I whispered.

"I'd always save you."

I blushed at his words and he pulled away from me. I'll never get over the fact that I'm dating a superhero/sidekick.

After the whole crime scene calmed down, police came in and took the man away. Everyone went back to eating their food and Henry turned back into himself. He pretended like he didn't know what happened and pretended to feel bad for not stepping in.

Henry held me close and I sighed. "I'm sorry."

"Why are you sorry?" I asked.

"For not protecting you." Henry reasoned to me.

"But you did, you saved me." I told him and looked up at Henry, who was upset with himself. "You're a hero. You're my hero."

He blushed at my words and kissed my lips. I smiled as he pulled away.

"Thank you." I say.

"Always." Henry smiles and we make our way back to our table to enjoy our dinner.

Due to what happened, we got free food and free desserts, along with a gift card to this restaurant. The rest of the date was amazing and I had an amazing time with Henry, despite me almost getting sexually assaulted.

Henry's my hero. My superhero.
