Arabella's POV

Charlotte, Jasper, and I rode down the tubes to the Man Cave with squirt guns on our bodies. We were gonna get Henry and go the squirt gun range with him. I slept over at Charlotte's house last night, because my dad wasn't home due to him and Henry trying to catch Jeff, the stupidest criminal ever, so I haven't been home since last night.

We walked forward and saw Schwoz sitting in a pool of beans and was wearing a tiger print swimsuit.

"Hey, you guys, what are you doing here on a Sunday?" Schwoz asked us.

"I live here." I told him and Schwoz rolled his eyes.

"I know that, I was asking Charlotte and Jasper." He remarked.

"We're here to meet Henry." Jasper told Schwoz.

"And what are you doing?" Charlotte asked Schwoz, noticing the odd setup.

"I'm taking a bean bath." He informed us and he took a bite of his beans, which weirded me out. "Good beans. So, why do you have those pretty pistols?"

"We're going with Henry to the squirt gun range." I informed him.

It's basically a gun range for young kids or teenagers.

"Yeah, where is Henry?" Jasper asked.

"Schwoz, have you seen Henry?" Charlotte asked him.

"No, he and Ray went to catch Jeff yesterday and never came back."

This worried us and I pulled out my phone to call Henry.

"And you're not worried?!" I exclaimed.

"Could you guys grab that bucket of beans and poor it on my body?!" Schwoz smiled as he stretched out his body.

"No!"

"Gross!"

"Ew!"

"Cowards!" Schwoz scolded and I called Henry, waiting for him to pick up.

"Come on, babe! Answer!"

Henry didn't answer and this worried me deeply. I told my dad that if they were ever in danger or trouble, then I would disguise myself and go save them, but we don't know where they are.

"Are you adding rice to your bean bath?" I heard Jasper say as Charlotte and I were trying to locate my dad and Henry. I turned and saw Schwoz adding rice to his bean bath.

"Yeah." Schwoz said. "What? Like I'm the first person in the world to mix rice and beans?"

"I think I found Ray and Henry." Charlotte told us and I turned back to her with Jasper approaching us

"Looks like they're in that store that used to rent movies." I explained to them.

"Beta Maximus?" Jasper asked and nodded.

"Yes."

"Uh-huh."

I stood up and Charlotte called someone.

"Hey, Bella, can you come over here and-"

"No." I denied Schwoz and saw Charlotte was calling the police.

"Swellview Police, what's your emergency?" The police man asked her.

"You need to send a SWAT team to the old video store in South Swellview, Beta Maximus." Charlotte told him, alarmed.

"Why? That place has been closed since the nineteen hundreds." The man reasoned.

"I know but, I heard that Captain Man and Kid Danger are there and I think there's big trouble." Charlotte remarked with worry.

I wonder what situation they are stuck in this time.

"Okay, I get it." The man sighed.

"Get what?" Charlotte asked.

"You're a teenager, you're dumb, and you're bored, so you're prank calling the police." The man berated Charlotte and I scoffed.

"No, sir, I just need-"

"You know, irritating a police officer is a felony." The man scolded Charlotte.

"I don't think that's true." Charlotte remarked.

"Never call back here." The man ordered.

"Wait, but-"

"Never!"

The man hung up and Charlotte was in disbelief.

"He hung up on me!" Charlotte sighed.

"You can't prank call the cops." Jasper mentioned and we glared at him.

"I wasn't prank cal-Oh, forget it!" Charlotte groaned and I went up to Schwoz.

"Schwoz, you need to drive Charlotte, Jasper, and I to Beta Maximus." I told Schwoz.

"For why?"

"To help my dad and Henry!" I reasoned.

"No!" Schwoz denied and this confused me.

"No?" Charlotte asked. "What do you mean 'no?'"

"Last week, I asked Ray for a raise, you know what he said to me?" Schwoz asked us and I grinned.

"What?" Jasper asked.

"Why don't you raise your hand and slap your face with it?" Schwoz repeated and I giggled with Jasper and Charlotte. "And Henry and Bella laughed. It was humiliating."

"Fine, then we'll handle this ourselves." I sighed.

"How are we gonna handle-" My phone rang, cutting off Jasper and I picked it up.

"Who is it?" Charlotte asked and I looked at the caller ID.

"It's Henry's dad." I tell them.

"Oh man, he's probably looking for Henry." Charlotte said and I answered the call.

"I got this," I tell them and smiled. "Hey, Mr. Hart!"

"Bella, we cant find Henry! Do you know where Henry is?!" Me. Hart asked me with a frantic and worried tone.

"Uhhhhhhhhhhh....please hold." I muted the called and turned to Jasper and Charlotte.

"Yeah, you got that good." Charlotte sarcastically said and I glared at her.

"Hand me your to phone." Schwoz said and I handed him my phone.

"Okay." I said. "What are you going to do?"

"Just observe!" Schwoz shushed us and I rolled my eyes. Schwoz pulled out a headband of sorts and put it on his head. He turned it on and moved his finger across the headband. "Testing one, two, three. This little Henry went to market, this little Henry stayed home." As he continued to talk, Schwoz's voice turned into Henry's voice. "This little Henry ate a chicken breast, a chicken breast, a chicken breast. I'm Henry Hart and I ate a chicken breast." The three of us looked at Schwoz with impressive smiles. "Now, watch this." Schwoz grabbed my phone. "Hey, dad! What goes on?....Uh, yeah, course it's me! It's not like I'm some dude sitting in a pool of beans. Ha!...Uh, yeah, sorry, I spent the night at Jasper's house...K, later!" Schwoz ended the call and put my phone down, turning off the headband. "Ta-da! Now, please leave me here in the beans!" Schwoz waved us away and we backed up as he turned on some music and enjoyed himself.

I never question Schwoz and his weird antics. It's just too weird and not my business to get involved.

We didn't have many options on how to get to Beta Maximus. None of us could drive without an adult and no parent that knows or understands our situation could take us, so we were left with one option.

Having Piper drive us.

Piper got her 'license' by accident a while back, so now she's legally allowed to drive. I have my permit, but I need an adult to drive and Schwoz is being a stubborn butt and not helping us out.

I could've just flown the Man-Copter, but my dad would get mad at me and scold me for flying it without his permission. I mean, I could save his butt from falling into a bottomless pit and he would still ground me for using the Man-Copter to save him.

He's such a dad. It's annoying.

Charlotte, Jasper, and I devised a plan to get Piper to drive us. We wrote a fake note that looks like it came from my dad, asking Piper if she can go help him and Kid Danger out, but we had to be sneaky and not give away any secret.

"Wait." I stopped Jasper before he could walk into the Hart house. "Are you sure about this?"

"Well, somebody's gotta drive us to Beta Maximus." Jasper reasoned.

"We know, but...Piper?" Charlotte asked.

"She has a driver's license." Jasper reasoned again.

"Which the DMV sent her by accident." I objected.

"Whatever. She's a legal driver and that's what we need." Jasper remarked. "Unless, Charlotte wants to get her Uncle Roscoe to drive us."

"You know my Uncle Roscoe can't fit in a car!" Charlotte snapped and I looked at Jasper.

"You should know this, Jasper." I tell him and he sighs.

"Then let's just go in!" Jasper said and Charlotte and I rolled our eyes as we walked into the house.

"Hey, Piper!" I greeted when I saw her eating a hamburger in the living room.

"Oh, hey, Bella and Charlotte!" She smiled.

It's nice to see Piper when she's not angry.

"Hey, Piper." Jasper greeted.

"What?" She asked Jasper and Charlotte set down the package.

"We, uh, found this package on your porch." Charlotte informed her.

"And it's addressed to you." Jasper added.

"Okay, well, I just started eating a hamburger, so I'll open it when I'm done." Piper explained to us and went back to her hamburger. Jasper whispered something in mine and Charlotte's ear, before sneaking away from us.

"But, Piper." I protested. "They say that when you know you have a package, that it's bad luck if you wait to open it."

"I've never heard that." Piper remarked and Jasper climbed over the couch, reaching for her hamburger.

"Well, we think it's true!" Charlotte argued and Jasper grabbed the hamburger, standing straight up. "And look at this box."

"What about it?" Piper asked and Jasper gave me a thumbs up, before crouching behind the couch.

"It's...very brown." I mentioned, touching the box.

"Yeah, uh, I'm not opening it till after I finish my hamburger." Piper reasoned and I sighed.

"Okay." We both say and look away.

"Wait...where did it go?" I heard Piper ask and I turned back to see her searching for her missing hamburger.

"Oh, Piper!" Jasper jumped up, making me stumble back and I sighed.

I'm so jumpy, I hate it.

"I just saw that this package says: from the office of Captain Man!" Jasper continued, gesturing to the writing on the box.

"Seriously?!" She beams and looks inside. "What do you think it is?

"We have no idea!" I chuckle.

"It's not like we had anything to do with that package." Jasper scoffed.

"We just found it!" Charlotte added and Piper pulled out the letter I wrote.

"Oh! A letter from Captain Man!" Piper gasped and looked at the letter.

"Oh! What?!" Jasper, Charlotte, and I asked with a high pitched voices.

"Dear, Piper Hart. Since you're the president of my fan club the Man Fans, I need your help!" Piper read and she was excited. "Oh my god! He wants my help!"

"Woah!" I gasped.

"Wow!"

"Keep reading!"

"Yeah! Yeah! Kid Danger and I might be in trouble, so please bring the weapons in the box to the old movie rental place, Beta Maximus." Piper continued and the three of pretended to act surprise.

Piper pulled out a blaster from the box. "Woah! One of Captain Man's actual blasters!"

The three us backed up and and I grabbed the blaster, so she wouldn't shoot us by accident.

"Be careful with that." I advised her and put it back in the box.

"Come on, let's bring the box of weapons and get there fast!" Jasper advised us.

"Okay, I'll go grab the keys to my dad's minivan!" Piper informed and rushed upstairs.

Success.

We arrived at Beta Maximus and marched in with our blasters to see Jeff messing with my dad and Henry.

"Freeze, Jeff!" I yell and they all look at us.

"What the?" Henry asked.

"Ah, boy." My dad muttered.

"Who are you?" Jeff asked us.

"While Captain Man and Kid Danger are stuck in this holes, I'm in charge!" Jasper declared and I glared at him.

"No, I am!" Piper snapped.

"No, you're the designated driver!" Jasper argued and noticed my face. "Actually, Bella's in charge!"

"That's right I am!" I smiled.

"Okay, I don't know where you brats came from, but you better get out of here, unless you want me to put you in holes like I did with Captain Man and Kid Danger." Jeff warned.

"Okay, he did not put us in these holes!" Henry objected.

"We fell through these rotten, old wooden floors." My dad explained to us.

"We are a victim of wood rot." Henry accused.

"Liars!" Jeff accused. "They outta call you Captain Liar and Fib Danger!"

"Alright, Jeff! Put your back behind your hands." Jasper ordered.

"Other way." Charlotte sighed.

"Put your hands behind your back!" Jasper corrected.

"Better." I nod.

"No!" Jeff argued.

"Well, if you don't imma blast you with this!" Jasper threatened.

"Son, don't blast anyone! Just call the police." My dad reasoned.

"Yeah, son!" Piper snapped and I rolled my eyes.

"Hey, kid. I'm gonna sit on Captain Man with my butt!" Jeff laughed, pointing to his butt. We all began to protest as Jeff got closer and closer and my dad begged us to shoot him.

"Blast him! Blast him!"

Jasper looked at his blaster for a moment before he shot himself and passed out.

Charlotte and Piper screamed and checked on Jasper while I formed vines and whipped Jeff in the butt.

"Ow!" He cried and moved back. "That hurt!"

"It was supposed to hurt!" I snarl and made my vines disappear.

Charlotte and Piper came back and the three of us pointed our blasters at Jeff.

"Ha! Now I've defeated three dudes!" Jeff laughed.

"Alright, that's it!" Piper yelled and Charlotte and I tried to calm her down.

"Uh, Piper-"

"Hey, skunkbag!" Piper yelled and rapid fired the blaster at Jeff, but missed a whole lot and Jeff managed to crawl away.

"Piper!" I grabbed the weapon and pulled her and Charlotte away. "Follow me."

"Girls, be careful with those weapons." My dad advised us.

"And remember, Jeff is very stupid." Henry added and I nodded.

I know. Any person should know that.

"I heard that!" Jeff called and we shushed Henry, before running around the store, looking for Jeff.

"Alright, Jeff!" I scold. "Where are you?!"

We found him and began attacking him with all our might. Piper got on his back and fired the blasters as Charlotte and I pulled him down to the ground. Jeff managed to break free and ran away from us and we ran out of the back to find him.

"Where'd he go?!" I asked.

"I don't know and where's Charlotte's blaster!?" Piper asked us, noticing Charlotte didn't have her blaster.

"Ha!

"Ah!"

We turned to see Jeff behind the counter, pointing a blaster at us.

"Don't move!" Jeff ordered and I noticed I was behind a shelf and snuck behind it without Jeff seeing me. "Yeah, sorry, girls. You're about to get stun-burned!"

"No, Jeff!"

"Don't do it, Jeff!"

Before Jeff could fire, I rolled over to the counter and grabbed Jeff's arms using my plant vines.

"Hey!" He called and he yelled as I yanked his arms behind him. "What are you doing?!"

"Teaching you a lesson!" I snapped and jumped onto his back. "Piper! Charlotte! Help!"

"Get off me!" He yelled and tried to throw me off, but my grip was too tight.

"Quick! Piper! Grab some of these antique video rectangles!" Charlotte told Piper.

"Kk!"

Piper and Charlotte stood behind a shelf and started to threw movies at Jeff.

"Yeah! That's it! VHS power!"

"You go!"

I snatched the blaster from Jeff and tried to shoot him, but it was out of battery.

"Man, it's out of battery!" I yell and I saw Henry look away when I said that.

He didn't charge them last night. What a smart boy.

Jeff eventually got knocked down and passed out. I jumped off his back and Charlotte and Piper continued to throw the movies at me, not noticing that Jeff was gone.

"Hey!" I yell and dodged all the movies. "That's enough!"

My dad and Henry told them to stop and I leaped over the counter, so I wouldn't get hit by the movies.

"Just two more!" Charlotte yells and picks up a movie. "Take Flash Dance!"

"And Gandhi!"

They finished throwing the movies and I exhaled, brushing my hair out of my face.

"Sorry, Gandhi." My dad apologized.

"Sometimes violence is the answer." Henry added.

I went over to Piper and Charlotte and the three of us hi-fived, before we walked over to Jasper who was waking up.

"What hit me?!" He asked as he sat up.

"You hit yourself." I tell him and he shakes his head.

"Classic Jasper."

I helped Jasper to his feet and we turned to my dad and Henry.

"Alright, I'm calling the fire department to get you two out of those holes!" Charlotte told them.

"Good! And tell them to hurry, before I have to pee in my Captain Pants!" My dad groaned and I made a disgusted face.

"No, first!" Henry protested. "Call a pizza place, before I die of hunger!"

"You really want me to call-"

"Wait, wait!" Jasper interrupted me. "If you're hungry, I got food in my pants!"

Jasper pulls out Piper's hamburger from his pants and puts it in Henry's hands. "Here!"

"What the?" Henry asked as he examined the burger and I made a face.

Oh gross.

"My hamburger." Piper said with shock.

"Gross!" Henry exclaimed. "I'm not gonna eat a hamburger that was in your.." He trailed off and started to eat the hamburger like there was no tomorrow. We just stared at Henry as he devoured the burger, but he didn't care and continued to eat.

Gonna make sure he brushes his teeth before I kiss him, because I don't want to kiss someone who ate a hamburger that's been in someone's pants.
