Arabella's POV

"And you're a hundred percent sure you didn't tell anyone?"

"I told nobody." Henry told my dad.

Somebody found out Henry's Kid Danger and now we are all panicking. Schwoz was trying to scan the note Henry found in his locker at school and see who wrote it. This is bad, this is really, really bad.

On a totally unrelated note, Henry and I are officially dating and it's been great. We've been together for almost a week and I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend. I'm a little shocked if I'm being honest, not to long ago I couldn't imagine dating Henry and now here I am with his arm around my shoulder and my head against him.

"Well, did you send any emails, or text messages where you mentioned that you're Kid Danger?" My dad asked Henry and he stood up.

"Oh, wait, no, yeah last week, I did stand on my roof naked and yell, "Hey! Everybody! Look at me! I'm Henry Hart and I'm Kid Danger!" Henry sarcastically explained and I snickered.

"You did that naked?" My dad asked.

"No, I didn't do it at all!" Henry exclaimed.

"Oh, you're joking." My dad said and I rolled my eyes as Henry sat down, wrapping his arm around my shoulders again.

"Yeah."

"Oh, this is joke time? Okay, I'm sorry, are you Jimmy Fallon? Hey, later on, are you going to get some tacos with QuestLove?" My dad jokes with irritation.

"Dad, I don't know why you're mad at him." I mentioned.

"Guys, if anyone knows that you're Kid Danger, they can follow you here. They can come down here and figure out that I'm Captain Man and Bella is my daughter." My dad rambled on with panic.

"Oh, so this is all about you and Bella?" Henry argued and I hit his arm.

"No." My dad denied. "It's mostly about me."

I glared at him and folded my arms. "Thanks."

"Ahh, I got it! I got something!" Schwoz exclaimed and we ran over to him.

"What'd you find?" I asked him.

"Yeah! What'd you? What'd you find?" My dad repeated.

"I scanned this note with this bio-metric particle scanner." Schwoz explained to us, gesturing to his scanner.

"Right." The three of us nod.

"Now you'll see, on this note I found some DNA." Schwoz continued to us and I was confused when he said DNA weirdly.

"D-GEN-EYES?" Henry questioned, pronouncing the word how Schwoz did.

"DNA." I tell Henry, patting his arm.

"Oh."

"And the person who created this note is..." Schwoz presses his remote and a picture of Henry's face appeared on the screen. This shocked us all and I turned to Henry. "Henry Hart!"

"Whoa." I say.

"What?" My dad asked as he backed away.

"Of course, my DNA is on the note! I brought it here! It was in my hands!" Henry reasoned.

"Oh yeah." Schwoz said.

"Oh yeah!" Henry mocked.

Later, Henry and I went to his house to hang out, and we wanted to forget about this whole 'I know your secret' note. Charlotte was gonna come over, but she had a ton of homework to do and couldn't.

We were laughing and smiling at one another as we walked in, but we stopped when we saw a bunch of people over and a large curtain covered room. I could hear spraying and I was very confused.

"Oh...oh." I say as I saw a man with a tan walk by. "What is going on?"

Suddenly the curtain opens and Piper walked out with goggles on and had a device in her hand. Then I see Oliver walk with with a fresh tan and I averted my eyes from him.

Henry shut the door and grabbed my hand as we watched Oliver look at himself.

"Oh yeah! I'm ready for Hollywood!"

"I'm so confused." I tell Henry and he shrugs.

"Dito."

Henry and I walked up to Piper as another person walked into the curtain covered room.

"Piper? Piper, what is happening in our house?" Henry asked her.

"I'm giving people spray tans." She replied.

"Why?" I asked her and grabbed Henry's arm.

"Because most spray tan places cost like fifty bucks." Piper answered.

"Piper does it for twenty." Oliver chimed in.

"That's right." Piper smiles and Henry confronted his parents about this and I spoke to Piper about this.

I heard music playing and I turned to see Oliver dancing. It was unpleasant and I hated it, so I pretending to dance along and I slowly led Oliver out of the house. My hands got sticky and I wiped it on my clothes.

All I wanted to do was hangout with my boyfriend and this is what I get.

Piper finished the next costumer and it was Henry's neighbor. The woman gasped when she saw her spray tanned body.

"Oh! Oh, wow! If this doesn't get my husband to forget about trains, I don't know what will." She mentioned.

"Yeah, he's a lucky man." Piper remarked and Henry returned.

"Want to go upstairs?" He asked me and I nodded.

"Yes, please." I said and Henry took my hand. "But, let me use the bathroom first. I touched Oliver and I got spray tan all over my hands."

"Ew."

"I know."

Once we got upstairs, I went into the bathroom and shut the door to wash my hands and use the actual toilet.

I finished my business, but the spray tan wouldn't come off and I went downstairs to see if I could use something to get it off. I saw Charlotte in the kitchen and this confused me.

"Hi, Char." I greeted and she was getting a glass of lemonade. "I thought you had homework."

"I did, but I didn't want to do it."

"Ah." I say and she was confused about the situation here. "Don't ask."

"I wasn't going too." She said and saw my hands. "Did you shove Oliver onto the porch and now your hands are covered in-"

"Spray tan." I finished and she nodded before we walked into the living room and Piper was there.

"Hey, what's that?" She asked Charlotte, gesturing to her lemonade.

"Just lemonade." She said.

"Ah, perfect." Piper smiles and takes a sip of her drink. "So, don't you two love how busted Henry is?"

"What do you mean?" I asked her.

"Jasper found out! Y'know, Henry's secret." Piper beamed and this shocked me.

Oh my gosh, Jasper wrote the note. Jasper knows and now Piper does too. Oh no!

"Wait? You know about it?" Charlotte asked her.

"Sure." Piper shrugged.

"How?" I asked.

"Jasper told me. Henry shoulda waited for Jasper to go see that movie."

Hold up, movie?

"Whoa, wait, wait. What movie?" I asked.

"Henry promised Jasper that he'd go see Galaxy Wars 10 with him on Saturday night." Piper explained

"Yeah?" Charlotte and I said.

"But my mom was dying to see it on opening night, so she took Henry with her to see it on Wednesday, and then Jasper found out."

Okay, we messed up bad, but at least it wasn't Henry's actual secret.

"And Jasper thinks that's Henry's secret?" Charlotte asked. "That he saw Galaxy Wars 10 without him?"

"Yeah." Piper said and became confused. "What? What other secret does Henry have?"

"I dunno!" I freaked out and laughed awkwardly with Charlotte. "We dunno!"

"What?!"

"So, Jasper left the note in Henry's locker!" I gasped and sighed.

"Mm-hmmm." Piper nodded.

"Oh, man. We gotta go tell Henry!" Charlotte said and we ran passed Piper, but she stopped us.

"Wait!" We turned to her and she gave Charlotte her glass. "I'm done with this glass."

Charlotte set it down and we rushed upstairs.

"Henry!" We called in panic.

We got upstairs and ran into Henry's room to warn him.

"Jasper left the note!" We both exclaimed and we see Henry as Kid Danger and Jasper was here too.

Oh crap.

"I know." Henry said.

"Hey, Jasper." I greeted.

"Hi, Jasper." Charlotte greeted and I noticed that Jasper was speechless and his mouth was open. "Why is Jasper's mouth hanging open?"

I went up to Henry and poked him. "And why are you dressed like that in front of Jasper!?"

Henry was confused about our reactions.

"You're Kid Danger!" Jasper yelled and I grabbed my head.

Oh no. Oh no. Oh no.

"Yeah, you knew that, you were-"

Jasper fainted before Henry could finish.

"Jasper fell asleep." Henry pointed out.

"No, he fainted." I corrected and lowered my hands.

"Well, why?" Henry asked.

"Because he didn't know that you're Kid Danger!" I inform Henry. "He thought that your secret was that you saw Galaxy Wars 10 without him!"

Henry was in shock. "Well, how'd he find that out?"

"Who cares!" Charlotte and I yell and Henry was stressing out.

"You just showed him that you're Kid Danger!" Charlotte said.

Henry looks at Jasper for a moment before freaking out. "Ah geez! I also told him that Bella is Captain Man's daughter!"

"What?!" I yelled, feeling panic rush through me and Henry groaned. "Oh no..." I began to stress out and I grabbed my chest. "I can't breathe."

I say on Henry's bed and tried to breathe, but it was hard. I was having a mini panic attack.

"What are we gonna do!" Charlotte exclaimed.

"Bella, calm down." Henry assured me and grabbed my hands as Charlotte paces the room. "Look at my eyes."

"I can't!" I cried and shook my head with panic before Henry left a gentle kiss on my forehead.

"Look into my eyes."

I stared into his eyes and followed his breathing. "Just breathe."

My breathing returned to normal and he slightly smiled. "There you go."

I exhaled and smiled. "I'm okay."

He smiled and stood up, keeping his hand in mine.

Henry's communicator buzzed and he jumped, causing me to jump.

"It's my dad." I tell him.

"I know it's your dad." Henry said and answered it so we can see my dad as a hologram.

"Hey."

"Hey, it's me, Ray."

"I know it's Ray!" Henry rolled his eyes.

"The cops captured the Malachi Brothers, so there's no more emergency." My dad explained to Henry.

"Eh, maybe there is." Henry mentioned nervously.

"What-What does that mean?" My dad asked.

"Just-you better come over." Henry concluded.

"And bring the memory wiper." Charlotte added and my dad gave him a look, before Henry ended the call.

We heard Jasper groan and I pointed to him. Henry shot him with his laser and Jasper fainted again.

I stayed sitting down and Henry looked at me with worry. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." I tell him. "Just a little lightheaded."

"Char, can you get her some Advil?"

"Yeah." Charlotte left and I smiled at Henry.

"Henry, I'm fine." I assured him. "Just a small panic attack that's all."

"But I caused it." Henry said and kneeled down to my level.

"It was an accident." I tell him. "It's okay."

"But I'm your boyfriend and I promised your dad and you that I wouldn't let anyone know your identity."

"Well. You failed at that-"

"I know!" Henry said and I leaned back with a grin. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay." I assured him and gently touched his face. "It's okay."

The door opened and Charlotte returned with some Advil and a glass of water.

"Here." She handed the pills and water to me.

"Thank you."

"Take the pills-"

"I know!" I snapped at Henry and took the pills with the water.

I sat the glass down and Henry helped me into my feet.

"You good?"

"Yeah." I nodded to Charlotte.

My dad came over and once we told him the situation, the four of us began to argue over it. My dad was furious with Henry about all this and we tried to reason with him, but my dad was being stubborn and didn't listen.

I saw Jasper move. "Hey! Jasper's regaining consciousness!"

Jasper sat up, but my dad and Henry shot him with their lasers and he fell back down.

Henry was befuddled and he knew what my dad had to do, but we didn't want to erase Jasper's brain. Not only would he forget the secret, he would forget all of us and we don't want that. Him and Henry have been best friends for almost ten years and all his memories would vanish.

I couldn't imagine that happening, I don't want that to happen.

My dad approached his sidekick. "Look, It's just way too dangerous to let anyone else know who we are, who Bella is, or where the Man Cave is. And that means..." My dad walked over and picked up the Memory Wiper. "We have to erase Jasper's memory."

Henry was in disbelief and I grabbed his hand in reassurance.

"But when you zap someone's brain with that thing, doesn't it erase all their memories?" Charlotte protested.

"Well, not all." My dad reasoned. "I mean, he'll still remember how to breathe and eat and...that's about it."

"Remember what happened to that kid Ortho and his father?" I asked them. "That will happen to Jasper."

Jasper groaned and Henry spoke. "Hey, can I- can I, at least have a few minutes alone with him, before you, you know, wipe his brain? I mean... we've been friends ever since we were five."

I could tell my dad didn't want to do this, but he's a superhero and has to keep our identities a secret, even if it means hurting those you love.

"Yeah, sure thing, kid." My dad agreed.

"Thank you." Henry said.

"Where do you want us to go?" I asked Henry and he opened his closet door.

"The closet?" We asked.

"Yep, get in the closet." Henry gestured and we reluctantly walked in as he encouraged us. "There you go."

Henry shut the door and I didn't listen to their conversation. It seemed private and meaningful to them.

As they were talking, my dad peaked his head out and activated the memory wiper. Henry caught him and Charlotte and I helped Henry get him back into the closet without Jasper noticing.

"Give me a minute!"

"Hurry up!"

"Shut up!" I scold my father as Henry slammed the door.

Henry and Jasper's conversation continued and I almost started to cry. I don't want Henry to live the rest of his life without Jasper or have Jasper lose his memory. He's my friend too and I care about him.

Suddenly, I heard Henry speak loudly.

"That's it! Airy, Ray, Charlotte! Get out here!" Henry called and we walked out.

Jasper was shocked to see Captain Man and gasped.

"Captain Man! Wow! He's right here in your room!"

"We're here, too." I point out and Jasper pushed passed us.

"Yeah, uh-huh!"

"We're not doing this!" Henry declared.

"We have to do it!" My dad reasoned.

"No, I'm not letting you erase Jasper's brain!" Henry protested.

"Uh, what?" Jasper asked.

"Don't worry about it." I assure him.

"He could tell anyone, even if he doesn't mean to!" My dad argued.

"I'll never tell anybody!" Jasper cut in.

"Oh really? What if some big bad evil criminal captures you and threatens to cut all your toes off if you don't tell 'em everything you know!?" My dad asked him and I scoffed.

"I'd tell them everything I know." Jasper admitted and I shook my head.

"Dude!" Henry yelled.

"My toes! What am I without my toes?" Jasper crier.

"A human without toes." I comment and Charlotte nodded.

"Henry, he's a security risk." My dad stated to Henry.

"No, we leave Jasper the way he is or else..." Henry paused and I stared at him as he continued. "I can't be Kid Danger anymore."

"Hen..." I say in disbelief.

"Henry." Charlotte said.

"You're not gonna quit being Kid Danger." My dad ordered him.

"I don't wanna quit." Henry remarked. "But if you're gonna erase all the memories from my oldest friend's brain then... Then I don't want this anymore." Henry pulled out his gum ball container.

My dad looks at all of us and he looks at me.

"Please." I mouth to him and he groaned.

"Put that back into your pants."

"Does that mean you're saying-"

"Yes, yes, yes." My dad cut me off with irritation and gestured to Jasper's head. "Jasper can keep his stupid brain the way it is!"

I saw Henry smile and I went up to him. He hugged me and I giggled softly as he let me go. He sat down on the second floor of his room and he wraps his arms around my neck.

"Really?!" Jasper exclaimed.

"Yes! I've said yes five times now!" My dad snapped.

"Wow! This is amazing!" Jasper gasped.

"Just take it easy." My dad tells him.

"Oh, I can help you fight bad guys and stuff!" Jasper offered and we all protested that idea. "Oh, come on! It's my dream!"

The door opened a spray tanned fat dude came in and we all stared at him. He froze when he saw us and we didn't move, except for Henry tightening his grip on me.

"Sorry, I just got a tan downstairs and I was looking for the bathroom, and I thought-" He paused when he saw my dad. "Whoa! Captain Man?" My dad grinned and the man saw Henry. "And Kid Danger without his mask! You're Piper's brother!" Henry shielded his face.

"Uh...well..." Henry protested as the man got out his phone.

"Wait, till I tell everyone I know!"

And my dad is worried about Jasper telling people.

"You gonna whine about this one?" My dad asks.

"Nah, do it." Henry agreed and my dad used the wiper on the man's brain. The man twitched as my dad erased his brain and he froze when my dad finished.

Charlotte got up to confront the man and I felt Henry lift me up so I can sit in between his legs. I giggled softly and Henry kissed my cheek with happiness.

"Hey! What's your name?!" Charlotte shouted.

The man moaned with confusion and I laughed.

"Alright, Jasper. You really wanna help us out?" My dad asked Jasper.

"Sure!"

"Good. Take this guy out the window, leave him on the sidewalk." My dad instructed him.

"Aye, aye, Captain Man!" Jasper saluted and ran over to the man to take him outside.

And just like that, another one finds out the secret. Our team is growing, I wonder who will be next, if my dad allows it.
