Rosie's POV

I can't believe Lily just slapped THE captain Jeon on the face. Luckily, there were very few people in the bakery and my stink eye reminded them to mind their own business.

After apologising to Captain Jeon, my eyes land on...Chris.

I gasp audibly before excusing myself- I can't think right.Lily's gives me look of confusion but I make some lame excuse about flour and practically ran out the bakery.

My mind was buzzing with thoughts and all the caged up emotions where flooding to the surface, drowning me. I needed to breath.

Why did he come back?

Why did my past have to catch up to me.

Before I could comprehend where my feet were taking me, I was deep in the forest.This didn't scare me because, as a kid, I would explore the forest and I knew exactly where I was.

In front of me, there was a majestic waterfall- completely hidden from the village- no one knows about this place except for me and Chris.

We found it together and now, this is the place I go to find some peace.

"You are here." a baritone voice says nervously.I didn't even need to turn around- I knew that voice too well.

"Chris."

"Rosie-"

"Please! Why-why did you come back?"

Chris' POV

"Please!Why-why did you come back?"

The moment those words came out her mouth, I felt like drowning myself.

"I-I  I am sorry..." I mumble, It was barely audible but I know she heard me.

"W-why did you leave?" this time she turned around to face me.I hated to see her cry but here she was, her face smeared with tears and her eyes radiating sorrow... because of me. The broken look she gave me started to prick at my heart- an unbearable pain.

"Rosie, I-I just wanted to-"

She motioned for me to stop.

"You left the village without a word.I understand our relationship was a secret but was it that easy for you to play with my feelings? You just left a note for Jin and ran off. You selfishly left me here!" she say breathlessly. Every word was laced with anger.

"I did it for us, for a better life-"

"A BETTER LIFE! YOU THOUGHT ABANDONING THIS KINGDOM AND THE FAMILY HERE WAS EVEN A GOOD IDEA...this empire might be evil and vile but we have people here- people that I would die for!"

"But-"

"AND WHO LET YOU DECIDE WHAT WAS BETTER FOR US! LAST I CHECKED, YOU LEFT ME IN THE DARK!"

"I am sorry..."

Tears well up in my own eyes.

" I know what I did is wrong but it was too late by the time I realised.I know I can't turn back time and get back the year we lost but please- I am sorry flower!" I plead, my eyes on the ground.

"I am sorry.." I bent down on my knees in desperation.

"P-Please!" I wail in between tears.

Rosie's POV

Seeing him cry in front of me like this sent pain zapping through my heart.Can I really forget him for abandoning me for 6 years?

"I was young and dumb!" he wails again, between quiet sobs, "I want you back!"

I want you back...

Before I could help myself, I got on my knees and hug him.He responds immediately, hugging me back.

"I will do anything Rosie- anything!"

"You don't have to do anything but be by my side and promise never to leave-EVER!"

"I-I promise!" he says in a heartbeat.

Now, his face was just inches away from mine. Our breaths mingling.

He leans forwards and when his soft minty lips press against my own- I didn't resist.

He brought me closer, hugging me and closing any gap that was left between us.His body fit perfectly against mine- like a puzzle- I need him to complete me.

I need him.

(KISS OVER)

When we parted, my cheeks turn a shade pink and in front of me, he gazes at me with so much love in those soft brown eye- it was like he had never left.Like those 6 years without him never happened.

I missed him.So much.

Chris' POV

Rosie and I were walking back towards the bakery now, talking about random things.I missed her so much and now that she was in my hands- I felt like the happiest man on Earth.

"How long were we gone?" I asked out of curiosity.

"Around 2 hours.."

I gasp in shock. Rosie just giggles- why does she have to look so cute- my little chipmunk.

I gasp again when I see the sight of Justin laughing at something Angel or Lily was saying.

I guess Justin and Lily became instant friend because they almost didn't even notice our presence.

Almost.

Ok guyz, you might have realised that the tense keeps changing!

That is because I am in a dilemma between past and present.

I kno..this author is stoopid but I will change it.

I planning to change all the chapter to past tho...Maybe.
