Chapter 28: The War Part 1

Steve and Y/N, both in their uniforms, walked out onto a private runway, walking toward a chopper. But something slammed into it, making the siblings look up to see Iron Man and War Machine hovering above them.

(A/N Your uniform above.)

"Wow, it's so weird how you run into people at the airport. Don't you think that's weird?" Tony asked sarcastically.

"Definitely weird," Rhodey commented sarcastically.

"Hear me out, Tony. That doctor, the psychiatrist, he's behind all of this," Steve told them.

"Yeah. He wanted to control Bucky and we're trying to stop that guy from doing it to him or anyone again," Y/N said.

T'Challa, as Black Panther, came out and greeted, "Captain. Miss Rogers."

"Your highness," Steve returned with Y/N nodding toward him.

"Anyways. Ross gave me 36 hours to bring you in. That was 24 hours ago. Can you help a brother out?" Tony wondered.

"You're after the wrong guy," Y/N told them.

"Your judgment is askew. Your old war buddy killed innocent people yesterday," Tony said.

"And there are five more super soldiers just like him. We can't let the doctor find them first, Tony. We can't," Steve replied.

"Steve, Y/N...you know what's about to happen. Do you really wanna punch your way out of this one?" Natasha asked.

"If it means that Bucky is proven innocent," Y/N said.

"All right, I've run out of patience," Tony decided then called, "Underoos!"

(A/N When Spider-Man was introduced at the end of the trailer, I squealed with joy!)

Then out of nowhere, webbing formed on Steve's and Y/N's shields. They were taken away and their hands were bound by the sticky substance. They followed their shields to see a kid, in a red and blue suit with a spider on the chest, pull their shields toward his hands then land on a plane.

"Nice job, kid," Tony commented.

"Thanks. Well, I could've stuck the landing a little better. It's just the new suit...Well, it's nothing, Mr. Stark. It's-It's perfect. Thank you," the kid answered.

"Yeah, we don't really need to start a conversation," Tony said.

"Okay. Cap...Captain. Lady America. Big fan, I'm Spider-Man," the kid, Spider-Man introduced.

"Yeah, we'll talk about it later. Just..." Tony urged.

"Hey, everyone," Spidey greeted.

"...good job," Tony commented.

"You've been busy," Steve said.

"And you two have been complete idiots. Dragging in Clint. 'Rescuing' Wanda from a place she doesn't even want to leave, a safe place. I'm trying to keep...I'm trying to keep you from tearing the Avengers apart," Tony insisted.

"You did that when you signed," Steve lightly snapped.

"I can't believe that you still think you're doing the right thing, Stark. You say you want to do the right thing and help people. Why was this the answer? What if you signed it before Sokovia? Would you still be able to prevent that or would you feel guilty about all the lives you could've saved if you were told not to go?" Y/N pointed out.

"Alright, We're done. You're gonna turn Barnes over, you're gonna come with us. NOW! Because it's us! Or a squad of J-SOC guys...with no compunction about being impolite. Come on," Tony explained.

Steve and Y/N then looked where Sam and Bucky were.

"We found it. Their Quinjet's in hanger five, north runway," Sam informed over his radio.

Steve and Y/N held up their hands and an arrow freed them.

"Alright, Lang," Y/N signaled.

"Hey, guys, something--" Spider-Man started until he was kicked by a growing Ant Man from Y/N's shield then Ant Man took the shields back.

"Whoa. What-What the hell was that?" Rhodey asked.

"I believe these are yours," Scott said as he gave the shields back to Y/N and Steve.

"Thank you," Y/N thanked as both siblings took their shields from Scott.

"Oh, great. Alright, there's two on the parking deck. One of them's Maximoff, I'm gonna grab her. Rhodey, you want to take Cap?" Tony said.

"Got two in the terminal, Wilson and Barnes," Rhodey informed.

"Barnes is mine!" T'Challa stated.

"Hey, Mr. Stark, what should I do?" Spider-Man asked.

"What we discussed. Keep your distance. Web 'em up," Tony told him.

"Okay, copy that!" Spider-Man responded and sprung into action.

"Y/N, help Scott," Steve commanded, making her nod in response.

"Move, Captain. I won't ask a second time," T'Challa ordered before they started fighting.

"Look, I really don't want to hurt you," Scott said as he faced Natasha.

"I wouldn't stress about it," Natasha stated.

She then kicked him in the place no man wants to be kicked, making him shrink. He then started to toss her around like a rag doll until she zapped him off, making him hit a truck. Then Y/N leapt at Natasha, almost pinning her.

"Why'd you do it, Nat? This isn't fun fighting a friend," Y/N said.

"It's not fun for me either, Y/N," Natasha responded then kicked her off.

The two women fought until Scott joined and Natasha had her hands full.

From in the terminal, Bucky and Sam saw Spider-Man.

"What the hell is that?" Bucky asked.

"Everyone's got a gimmick now," Sam commented.

Peter came in through the glass wall and kicked Sam back. Bucky threw a punch with his metal arm, but Spider-Man caught his fist.

"You have a metal arm? That is awesome, dude!" Spider-Man asked in excitement, Sam nailed him, then Spider-Man exclaimed in a manly voice, "You have the right to remain silent!"

Peter defended himself against Sam then went after him and Bucky with his webs.

Then Iron Man was taking on Clint and Wanda while Steve fought off T'Challa. Little did Steve know that he was being targeted by Rhodey.

"Sorry, Cap. This won't kill you but it ain't gonna tickle either," Rhodey remarked then hit Steve's shield with a mace.

Tony hovered as he said, "Wanda, I think you hurt Vision's feelings."

"You locked me in my room," Wanda growled.

"Okay. First, that's an exaggeration. Second, I did it to protect you," Tony replied then said, "Hey, Clint."

"Hey, man," Clint greeted.

"Clearly, retirement doesn't suit you. You got tired of shooting golf?" Tony asked.

"Well, I played 18, I shot 18. Just can't seem to miss," Clint said.

Clint then fired an arrow at him, but Tony dodged it.

"First time for everything," Tony remarked.

"Made you look," Clint smirked.

Then a car came flying past Tony and he saw more coming. Then Wanda used her powers to bury Tony with them.

"Multiple contusions detected," FRIDAY informed.

"Yeah, I detected that too," Tony responded.

Spider-Man continued to chase Sam and Bucky.

"Oh god," Spidey exclaimed as Bucky threw something at him, then Spidey commented as he webbed it, "Hey buddy, I think you lost this!"

He sent it back then Sam kicked him down. Spidey made him crash then webbed his wrist to the railing.

"Those wings carbon fiber?" Spidey wondered.

"Is this stuff coming out of you?" Sam asked.

"That would explain the rigidity-flexibility ratio, which, gotta say, that's awesome, man," Spider-Man commented.

"I don't know if you've been a fight before but there's usually not this much talking," Sam pointed out.

"Alright, sorry, my bad," Spidey apologized then swung down.

But Bucky got in the way, making him and Sam fall through the glass down onto the next floor and Peter webbed them up.

"Guys, look. I'd love to keep this up but I've only got one job here today and I gotta impress Mr. Stark, so, l'm really sorry," Spidey apologized.

Redwing then dragged Spider-Man through the glass wall.

"You couldn't have done that earlier?" Bucky pointed out.

"I hate you," Sam commented.
