Your POV

Destery wanted to go to the beach today, I'm not so sure why. We usually just stay home and be weird or go get some food.

He was also acting more happy than usual... Kind of sneaky too. He snuck some stuff into the trunk of the car and his hand was in his pocket, moving a bit.

We are in the car in the moment, Destery humming some happy tune. Whenever I would say something we would have a small conversation about it then he would end it. Is he going to break up with me? Why would he be happy about it? It's best not to worry about it right now Y/N.

I sighed as I watched the cars go by, unwanting to say anything because I know Des will just cut the conversation short.

~Time Skip~

"Hey, wake up sleeping beauty." I hear a familiar voice say. My eyelids slowly rise to a bright eyed Destery. "C'mon! Let's go sleepy head!" He exclaims like a child. I chuckle and get out.

I stretch and breath in the Florida beach air. "Go on ahead, I'll catch up." He orders, digging through the trunk. I shrug and leave to find a good spot. It was easy since it was around six, when most started to leave.

I sat in the warm sand, waiting for Des. Just then, strong hands grasp my shoulders, I let out a short gasp as Destery laughed. He sat next to me and I punched his shoulder. "Not funny." I say. "C'mon, yes it was." He argued as he kissed my cheek. I rolled my eyes and prop myself up on my hands.

"Hey, I have something for you." Destery stated out of the blue. I looked towards him as his back turned, in his hands was a small silver rectangle. He pushed a button on it as music started to play. Des cleared his throat.

A few moments of nothing but the music happened until he started to sing.

I started to tear up, "Destery, that was-" I was cut off by Desterys' finger. "Hush, there's one more thing." He stated, reaching into his pocket. He pulled his finger from my lips and his other hand revealed a small black velvet box. Destery moved around and got on one knee.

"Y/N. I love you, like mabey more than love you. I don't know how to explain it but I want to spend the rest of my life with you, no not the rest of my life, for eternity. I love you so fucking much, so please, be my wife." He spoke.

I brought my hands to my face and covered my mouth and nose. Tears started rolling down my eyes like waterfalls. I nodded slowly, "Yes Destery." I said quietly. "Yes!" I shouted, giggling and throwing myself onto him.

I nuzzled my face into the crook of his neck, "I love you so much Des..." I muttered. "I love you too..." I heard his soft, happy voice say.
