As soon as the smoke was down, the countries went on the offensive against China. It was hard for Chen to watch her Father being attacked but knew that it was the only way to set him free from Reve's control. When he was finally defeated, China was forced back into his chair and sat there for a moment to try and recover.

"Friend! Are you okay?!" Reve frantically asked as he ran over to China's side.

"I-I just need some more opium and I'll be all right. They'll love me again." China replied. He slowly stood up and made his way over to a plant but was soon cut off by Russia and Chen, who stood in his path.

"You don't need it! WE love you! We're your family! Remember, remember us! You came here with us to save your friends!"

"But you left me to die!" China cried with tears running down his now red and puffy face. "What sort of friends and family do that?! Do you know how scary it was to be left alone in icy darkness, knowing everyone abandoned you and unsure if they'll come back, aru?!"

Chen felt her heart break as she heard about the predicament that her Father had to endure. She wasn't sure what to do. If she went up to try and comfort China would he just push her away?

"Yes. I do," Russia replied. "Everyday I feel like that. But I always have faith that they will return, because I know that they love me. And we were going to come back, we just didn't have the chance to yet, we were busy reuniting America with his brother."

After hearing that, China loosened up a bit and looked at Russia with a somewhat surprised expression. "So...you were helping another family...and coming to find me next, aru?"

"Yes. Please believe me. Remember me. Remember yourself."

That's when Chen went and hugged her Father. China looked down at the child and saw the tears running down her face. "Baba, please come back," she cried. "I miss you. I don't want to lose you."

Seeing Chen cry made China's heart tighten. He got on his knees and wiped the tears from her face. "No crying little one," China insisted as he cleaned her face. "I can't stand seeing you cry Chen, you know that."

Chen's eyes widened when she heard China say her name. "...You...remember me Baba?"

A soft smile came to China's face. He nodded and hugged his little girl in a tight embrace. "I remember myself...I...I am China." China said. Suddenly, a light engulfed him and he was back to his normal self. Of course Reve wasn't too happy about this.

"N-No! Friend, please!" Reve begged.

"You!" China growled as he turned to face the creature.

Reve tried to convince China to go back to smoking the opium but China wasn't buying it. Chen wasn't going to let Reve take her Dad. She tried to get Reve to release his grip on her Father but Reve had a tight hold on him. "Leave Baba alone!" Chen growled.

"Stay out of things that do not concern you." Reve glared at Chen and then shoved her to the ground.

This angered China and he quickly turned around and smacked Reve in the face.

"Ow! That hurt friend! Why did you do that?!"

"That was for hurting my daughter! And for toying with my mind!"

"Toying with...? I-I was just trying to love you-"

"KOLKUTZ!" Russia shouted, throwing his attack at Reve just as China jumped out of the way. Everyone watched as Reve began to pass out.

Rose looked over at the unconscious Reve and remembered what he had say. He said he just wanted China to be loved. Reve said he wanted Mr. China to be loved, she thought. Even if he has a real family that loves him out in the real world. She looked at Reve and tried to figure this all out. Maybe he's the one who wants to be loved.....but why take people away from their family and friends?

Just as she was in deep thought, Russia collapsed to the floor with blood dripping out from his wound. "Otets!" Natie yelled before running over to Russia's side. He was bleeding heavily. China, Britain, and Germany ran over to Russia's side and saw how severe the injure was. "What's wrong with him?!"

"His wound reopened!" Germany realized. "It was healed before but must've been reopened in the fight!"

"If we don't do something soon he'll bleed to death!" Britain shouted.

"I won't let you die on me!!" China cried.

The group of now eight made their way out of the building all the way outside where they met up with the France, Allison, Canada, Emma, America, and Noa.

They were about to leave to tend to Russia's wounds when they heard the most terrifying noise they had heard in a long time; "EEEEEEEYAAAAAAAAAAA!"

The children shook in fear after hearing that. "Tch. Reve realized ve're gone," Germany said.

"That means we have even less time to escape! We need to go! Quickly!" Britain instructed.

The group stopped only once to grab a card on the ground and then they ran to the opium den. Just as they were about to go inside, the group saw that there was a card on the ground. Amelia picked it up and saw that it was of Moon.

"Yo, it's that Korea guy we were running after!" America said.

Germany had a look on his face that Britain noticed. "What's wrong?" Britain asked.

"Don't we usually find these things after they are defeated?" Germany asked.

"Yes. And we did, remember?"

"No, I mean...after they are killed."

Everyone froze. "...Let's go check on them."

The adults were the first ones to walk in and the children followed right after the grownups. What they found could only be described as gruesome;...in the middle of what could only be described as a war-zone stood Japan and Naomi. Japan had an utter look of horror on his face and Naomi had tears running down her cheeks as they stood in the middle of a bloody mess of the arcana that were in the den with Japan and Naomi before the main two countries had left. Blood was all over the room and the bodies of the arcana were laid out across the floor.

"AI-YAAAAAAAH!" China shouted.

"Bloody heck!" Britain yelled.

"Holy crap!" America exclaimed.

"Mon Dieu!" France screamed.

"Vhat in the vorld happened?!" Germany questioned.

The children were all in absolute shock. They had never seen such a bloody mess before in their lives. Allison wanted to throw-up, Amelia had to bite her tongue to keep from screaming, Chen had to hold tightly to China to keep from crying, Rose and Noa were shaking like leaves and getting ready to cry, and Natie and Emma went pale in the face.

"Japan, Naomi, are you two okay??" Canada asked.

Neither of the two said anything.

China tried to approach them but both recoiled away in fear. Naomi buried her face into Japan's shirt and sobbed while Japan backed up.

"You don't think Reve did something here, do you?" Germany wondered.

"It is a very large possibility, considering Japan and Naomi's sudden fear towards China." Britain stated. He then picked Amelia up off the ground and carried her towards the other end of the room. He didn't want her to have to step in the blood. "China, come on. We need to find a spot for Russia to rest."

With tears in his eyes, China nodded. ".....Yes....I'm coming....." China had Natie and Chen follow him and Britain to the back to find a room for Russia to rest in. As they walked past Japan and Naomi, Chen stopped for a moment and looked at her frightened cousin. She had never seen Naomi cry before. There she was though, sobbing out of fright. Naomi, Chen thought as she followed her Father to a room.

Canada and Emma then walked over to Japan and Naomi. "Come on Japan, you and Naomi need to rest too. Let's find you both a bed," Canada told Japan.

Japan was still very shaken up and Naomi wasn't fairing too well either.

"Please, come with me. I will not leave you. You have my word."

Japan was very hesitant to go but went with Canada none the less and Naomi stayed close to Japan's side the whole time, not letting go of Japan's shirt as he walked. Emma stayed close to Naomi's side the whole time they walked to find a room.

"Since everyone is 'eading to bed, would you like to come with me to find one?" France asked America after picking Allison up off the floor.

"Dude, ew." America said.

"Non, not like zhat silly boy," France cleared up. "I meant to 'elp me find zhe bedrooms and to find beds for us and zhe children."

"Oh, that sounds pretty cool then," America agreed and then picked up Noa.

The two countries soon left, leaving Germany and Rose in the room of devastation. Germany warily looked around the room and then walked to the center of the mess. Not wanting to be "left alone", Rose rushed over to Germany's side and took a hold of his right hand. "Mr. Germany," Rose hiccuped through tears. "Why would Reve do this?"

"...I don't know," Germany sighed and then picked the little girl up. Rose buried her face into Germany's shirt and cried a bit. "Just a few hours ago, just yesterday, everything vas just so normal." He said to himself mostly. "And now vhat? Ve're on the brink of being killed by a monster vho just vants to make Italy and Katrina happy?..........Vhat vent vrong here? I vonder how they're doing?"
