Being roped into something like this was normal for the brunette, especially when she had the friends that she did. Crowds weren't her thing, they never were. How could they be when claustrophobia was something that constantly ruled out most activities in her life?
Even so, she would choke down her own fears if it was for the sake of her friends happiness.
Screams filled the air, mixing in with the bass of the live music as the on-stage artist poured there heart and soul out into the mic. This wasn't even her type of music, showed how much her friends knew about her. Eh?
The bass seemed to rattle her bones, going straight to her thudding heart as the shrieking fans seemed to squeeze in as much as possible as they jumped and danced. Her two friends were amongst the squealing fans, much to her annoyance but she couldn't deny the happy feeling that filled her when seeing her two friends so content and excited.
Her blue eyes flitted towards the stage, the singer prancing about the stage and getting the crowd to join in singing as he started a new song. It's name? She had no idea, but the music seemed to deafen in her ears as all she began to hear was low snarls and whines.
"Do you hear that?" The brunette had questioned, tugging on the arm of one of her friends who turned around in confusion.
"The music? Yeah I do Blair, that's the whole reason we are here" she had snootily replied, rolling her eyes and going to turn back around when Blair tugged on her arm again.
"Not the music, there's like some growling and whining somewhere close by" Said girl hissed, blue eyes narrowed at her friend who furrowed her brows in confusion.
"It's probably just your imagination" her friend had scoffed once more, firmly tugging her arm out of the brunette grasp and turning back around where she began to squeal at the artist on stage.
Her friend may have been too self involved to notice, however, Blair hadn't. She knew it wasn't her imagination, and she was proved right when the growl sounded once more directly behind her legs.
Her body froze, blue eyes widening in fear as she robotically span on her heel and hesitantly look down at the floor.
Staring up at her, was a creature she had never before seen in her life time.
Tentacles swayed about from what she presumed to be the creatures 'mouth', sharp teeth also on show as it glared up at her through beady black eyes.
Then, it began to extend. Standing to what Blair believed to be it true height, towering over her greatly as she trembled in her trainers.
Was no one else seeing this?
Either way, she had no time to question the crazy fans beside her as the creature readied to lash. Suddenly, Blair did the one thing her body only seemed to know what to do.
Run.
