Mikasa's heart was racing. When she pulled her curtains apart to enjoy the sunlight, she met horror. It was not really as horrifying but to her, it was.
She saw Eren and the squires he was with. They seem to be waiting for something or someone. She panicked more when someone nearly saw her looking out from her bedroom window and she quickly let go of the curtain as she hoped that people should just mistake her for a ghost.
She was happy to see Eren, she really was but in a situation she was in, it was sickening. A knot of worry and panic wrenched in her stomach as she paced frantically around the room. She was sweating and she kept rubbing her hands together in search for comfort and warmth.
She bit her lip and she began to taste blood in her mouth.
Think! Think! Think!!! She chanted in her mind as she began to nibble her nails. Her heart was hammering through her chest. It was so fast that she could feel her ribcage rattling with every beat.
No one else knew that she was here except for Martha. No one else knew what she was going through except for Martha and that somewhat relieves her but it was not sufficient enough to balm the terror she is undergoing. Everyone will just find out in the end...
She felt like an ant under a boulder's pressure. Is this how Atlas felt when he carried the weight of the world?
Finally, an idea came up. She ran to the closet, nearly tripped but she managed to get back up and scramble her way to closet. She threw the door open and grabbed a coat hanger. A wire coat hanger. She held unto it tightly as she scurried the cabinets for a pair of scissors. After she found a huge tailor's scissors, she began sharpening the end of the coat hanger with it. The sounds that remained present in the room was the sound of metal scraping another metal and her pants.
Her idea was crazy. Too crazy. It would not guarantee anything and could harm her as well but she had no other choice.
The best excuse she could make up is that she should get rid of the source of her problem and the source of her problem is the child.
The scraping sounds went on for minutes and it stopped when Mikasa deemed the end of the wire to be sharp enough.
It would be sharp enough to tear flesh.
She removed several layers of her clothing and dropped them to the floor. She took a fistful of her dress and stuffed it in her mouth so that it would muffle her screams.
She gripped the hanger as her hands began to shake. She had to do this. This is the only chance she has...
She closed her eyes as she felt the cold steel touch her flesh and she hissed as she felt the sharp end of the hanger pierce a tiny bit of her flesh. She bit hard on the cloth that she stuffed in her mouth as she began tearing herself up...as she began tearing the child up.
She was not sure if it was working but she just wanted to kill it. She...she does not want the child and she does not want it to live. It would be a burden for her and the child would live in agony. Tears of pain began to stream down her face as she willed herself to control the hanger to dig deeper into her, praying that it will pull the small child out of her womb and rip it apart to flesh, blood, and entrails.
Blood was dripping, tracing her legs and she began to tremble as she began to feel the sharp pain that she induced to herself.
She wanted to stop but a ringing voice in her head kept saying that if she would not do this, then she would suffer and so will the child, therefore; it's better to kill the child.
Whimpers escaped her lips as the pain started to become unbearable but she was determined with what she was doing so she plunged the coat hanger deeper and pulled it out as she collapsed, covered in sweat and shaking. She fell to the floor with a thud. She was breathing heavily and she felt pain in her.
Her hand touched something. It felt mushy and it made her spine tingle. She lifted her hand to see blood, spread on her palms.
Her breathing became more labored as she stared in it in horror.
"No, no, no, no..." She said as her eyes widened on seeing it and then she burst out laughing.
Is the baby dead?

Uri was stuck in an eternally looping dream. It was all hazy but he could hear voices that comfort him but it was unsettling. It went on and on as if it was a frustrated musician playing the same piece again and again yet he could not hear it.
He was paralyzed. He tried moving but he was still as a statue. In his conscious mind, he was screaming and 'yelling' at himself to wake up and he did try his best to move but he could not. It was as if there was something heavy lying on his chest. He was out of breath which made him panic.
Uri...
Uri, Uri, Uri.
Uri!
He heard disembodied voices calling out his name but what chilled his blood was the fact that it sounded familiar.
He knows this voice.
Suffocation choked his airways and he struggled as kept yelling in his brain that he should wake up.
He felt trapped as if two walls are closing into him quickly. He wanted to cry when he felt that he was finally out of breath.
Was he going to die like this?
And he woke up.
His eyes fluttered open and he could see the extravagant ceiling of his room. Slowly, he sat up, confused about his dream. He tried recalling what it was and he remembered that it was all zilch but eerie voices whispering his name as if it was a whole bar of repeating notes in a musical score.
It made him shake as he stood up from his bed carefully. He went to his bathroom and simply stared at the mirror and all he could see is his tired reflection. He sighed, dismissing his horrible dream and slipped back into his silky covers but ever since he woke up, he was unable to go back to sleep.
He kept on tossing and turning, sitting up and lying down. Restlessness possessed him and his eyes felt like they were sprinkled with salt. His eyelids want to flutter shut but his mind is yapping on about random things that could be the least of his worries.
After staring at the ceiling for what seemed like hours, he decided to take a look on how his niece was doing.
He walked the halls of his palace, his hands placed on his back but his posture was relaxed. The moonlight shone on the huge windows the palace had that lined up in several parts of the hall.
He was breathing tranquility. He looked out to the window and gazed at the stars that smiled brightly at him but still, something felt wrong. It felt like there was a looming evil that followed him around and it bothered him.
He looked to the windows when he saw something crash into it and made it shatter. Then, the creature crashed to the marble flooring of the halls and rolled, covering its face from the glass shards that rained on the hall like transparent and sharp snow.
Flabbergasted, Uri stood motionless and began stuttering as he asked the person for his name.
"Wh-Who are you?" He asked in a shaky voice as he gathered his courage to walk closer to the creature slowly.
"Ah, me?" A smooth and deep voice answered. "Very funny, Uri. You don't remember me anymore?" It mocked him as it stood up. "You really did turn senile, did you?"
He inhaled sharply as he recognized the man. He had tall black horns that shot up from his dark brown hair. His mischievous smirk was decorated with sharp fangs that went well with his personality. His eyes were molten gold, as precious as the jewels that the princess wears. Unlike their last encounter, his skin had a generous amount of color. It was bronze unlike the one Uri remembers. This man used to be very pale, as pale as the sickly moon that arose at night.
"Ymir..." He said quietly. "You are not pale anymore..."
The demon cackled and his deep laugh resonated in the halls. "Very observant. I guess your eyes did not fail yet." He turned to Uri and stretched out his hand and began weaving the shattered glass back together to what was left. It wove itself together as if there was an invisible mother that knitted it together. "I'm not that pale anymore since I finally had a good meal!"
Concern washed over Uri as he stated this words. "Who did you eat and what do you want from me and my family? Are you here to take Historia?"
Ymir shook his head. "I just ate a random passerby on my way here so excuse me if I accidentally pass some gas!" He said jokingly as he elbowed Uri which made the shorter man uncomfortable. "And what do you mean you and your family? You killed them remember? You did it in exchange to escape death and be the King of Eldia til your last days."
Uri shook his head and his blonde hair that seemed white in the moonlight shook as he did. "That does not matter! Are you here to take Historia?" He pressed on Ymir again.
"Hm, maybe?" The demon tried to answer honestly. "Well, I am. She will be my bride and she will bear me strong sons!" He exclaimed in delight. "She's such a lovely lady."
Uri swallowed and began to plead. "Please, do not marry Historia yet. She has a lot to do and she has her life to enjoy-"
"This would not happen if it weren't for your stupid deal!" Ymir yelled at Uri angrily. "It's your fault!"
"But I-"
"No!" Ymir cut him off. "I will give you until dawn and as you see, you don't have much time left."

Levi was horrified at the scene. Mikasa was sprawled on the floor with blood oozing from her inner thighs. They knew what was happening to her since Martha told them at the stables but Levi did not expect Mikasa would do this.
A small bag of flesh was found lying just a few centimeters from her thighs and Levi could see the small fetus, dead. He swallowed as he neared Mikasa and took her pulse. She was still alive and that relieved him.
Erwin was standing beside the door post in shock but he began to survey the scene. A wire hanger was seen on Mikasa's palm and he began to make conclusions that terrified him and Levi.
He gingerly took the hanger and said, "It seemed like it was sharpened. She could have used this to take that child out of her..."
Sadness overwhelmed them and Erwin squinted his eyes in thought. He was saddened because the child was killed but considering Mikasa's situation, he did not blame the young girl. Her life had been tragic and full of abuse.
"We should call Martha and get some people from the infirmary to tend to her. She could die from an infection of some sorts." Levi suggested.
"Martha," Erwin said and Martha squeaked an 'aye'. "Please call for doctors. We need someone to attend to Mikasa right away."
"On it!" Martha said as she quickly went to fetch some doctors.
As for the squires, the did not know what was going on the manor they will be staying at but Levi and Erwin had agreed that it was best if they did not know.
Coat hanger abortion(like the one Mikasa did) is not proven effective, in fact, it killed a woman. Also, I did not write this to encourage to perform self-induced abortion.
