Few hours ago. After Tails leave his House and Sonic is with Zion. He goes to the laboratory and met one of his scientic partner, Victor. Tails need his help to find something that can help Sonic. Tails explained about what is wrong with Sonic's condition after they finish investigating the forest that Silver was talking about. Victor got all of that, and he accepted Tails to help him.

Back to present time, after Sonic left the house, he goes to different places to find out about his weird condition. And none of it gives out the answer. Sonic goes to the forest again to find out if the creature is captured or not. He look around the forest, and that creature is gone. He assumed that Shadow and the other policemen captured them, so he go back outside. While walking to the outside, he felt his head spinning again, and it keeps going non-stop. And Sonic couldn't get outside of the forest.

At the night time. Zion is alone in Tails' house, waiting for Sonic and Tails to return. But they didn't come back since they're busy. "Hmmm. I still wonder where Sonic and Tails. Why did they take it so long?" He asked himself. Zion just keep worrying about them because they haven't came back yet. Especially Sonic who is still not fully recovered. So Zion grab a flashlight, wears his jacket and leaves Tails' house.

Zion searched everywhere in Metropolis, and still can't find Sonic. So he go to the forest where Sonic is. Sonic is still having his head spinning around, banging his head twice to the trees. While Zion is looking around the forest, he heard a growling noises. He follow that noises. And then he sees Sonic. Sonic is leaning on the tree, looking at the ground while holding his head.  He put the light towards Sonic, and he noticed that he has dark blue fur, pale skin. Zion called Sonic's name, and then Sonic looked at Zion with his red eyes. Sonic called Zion's name few times while he go towards Zion slowly. After that, he pushed Zion to the ground and Sonic is on top of him, and he bites his neck. Zion was screaming in pain, but Sonic just keep biting Zion, and he rips his flesh and eats it. Sonic keep doing the same thing to Zion until he's dead. He already realized that he turned into a cannibal. After he's done, he took off his own outfit, takes Zion's jacket and wears it. And then he left Zion alone.
