Rays of the blinding sun shone through the window of the man's window as mid day struck. A single body laid in the embrace of fabrics in deep sleep. Pink strands of hair scattered about the pillow in a messy state. Soft breathes left the slightly opened mouth of the injured seventeen year old. It wasn't for a few more hours that his eyes fluttered open to be met with a silence and empty bed.
Jimin sat up from the bed, his muscles begged him not to. He stared about the bedroom to find he was alone unlike the rays of light from the sun. It was quiet in the home, not a sound to be heard from inside. Outside however he could her distant chatter of pedestrians. He prepared for whatever of the day he had left.
Assuming Yoongi was downstairs, he headed there after dressing.
He was correct for before he even entered the door besides the one he'd just exited he could hear his voice. It was soft and annoyed as always.
"Good morning everyone." Jimin greeted the present beings with a warm smile. He waved them hello before falling into the embrace of the arms that welcomed him willing.
"How is my baby feeling?" Yoongi muttered before placing his lips on his cheek as a form of a greeting. "Does it hurt anywhere?"
Jimin nodded. "Just a little, my body but I'll be fine."
"Do you want me to get you some painkillers?" Taehyung perked up from the former of the shop where he gathered with Jungkook. The two boys had a each a stool in front of them, books opened in front of both.
"Just say the words and I'll be out of here in a flash to get them for you Jiminie." Hoseok spoke up.
Jimin smiled at the concerned tone and caring words of his friends. "I'll be fine, thank you." He turned to the man besides him whose attention had fallen to a paper on the counter. He placed his head on his shoulder to get a better look at the paper, it was immediately turned over to it's blank side.
"Are you hungry?" Yoongi pulled him closer with an arm.
"Not really."
"Well lunch is soon so you'll eat with us. Also Tae brought you some of your clothes. I think you look great in mine but you know." The man grinned at the blushing boywho indeed was dressed in his clothes. Jimin leaned in to lay a soft peck on his cheek before going off to seat himself with those his age.
"Are you having trouble?" He asked to the youngest. The brunette eyebrows furrowed of the confusion and he shook his head. Jimin leaned in closer to the book and pointed to the question he was sure was the source of the boy's stress. "You should be because that's not of your grade. Would you like me to help you?"
The book flicked his finger away, he shook his head. His eyebrows became furrowed once more at the question.
"Let him help you Kookie. I'm too dumb to figure it out so asking me later won't benefit you."
The young boy shot Taehyung a glare yet he did not comply with the request. He kept us his stubbornness until Jimin spoke. He recited instructions with explanations to the math problem. The brunette watched him closely as he pointed to different numbers and listened to how effortlessly words of the subject escaped him.
"Are you some sort of a genius?"
Jimin shrugged. "I just know my math."
"You sound more of like a genius to me." Taehyung spoke up. He then slammed his textbook close and set it down on the chair besides him. He rose, with no explanation walked out of the shop. Jimin's attention turned back to Jungkook who continued onto the next problem. His eyes were filled with concentration as he read the next word problem that attempted to trick his young mind. Effortlessly he picked his pencil once more and began to use the information he was given to solve the issue. Jimin grinned as he corrected him and the boy obeyed. It reminded him of his brother.
Jihyun would not admit to his mistakes verbally but through actions. The young boy was just like the fifteen year in front of him. Jimin imaged one of the study sessions he'd have with his brother, he smiled at the old memories. He missed the jokes they made at the ridiculous stories made up before actually getting it solved.
"I'll be right back to help you okay?" Jimin whispered to the boy who simply looked up to him but not in his usual glare. Without another word the seventeen year old walked back to man behind the counter. Yoongi was humming as his eyes scanned the white paper once more.
"Hyung can I please have my phone? Tae said he brought it."
Yoongi nodded his head, he pointed to the curtain of beads. Jimin silently thanked him, he went into the room for his belonging. It laid on it's screen with a wire connecting it to the wall. He watched the screen light up after holding a button down for so long it left whiteness behind.
Messages, calls, and voice mails of many popped up.
Eomma: Come home please.
Eomma: Please Jimin.
His heart ached at the sad words his mother wrote, tears fell at the broken tone of her voice in her verbally messages. Some were from his father, none as pleading as his mother. Unlike her he wasn't as anxious to hear of his son unless it was for an explanation for his sudden absence. No messages were from his brother.
"Hello?!" The voice of anxious voice of his mother played at his ear.
"Morning..." He whispered softly, he was unsure as to how he was to respond in such situation.
"Morning? Jimin it's past three! Are you okay!? Why didn't you come home to sleep honey? I'm sorry but please just come home. We'll fix this when you boys are ready but I beg you hun come on home. I miss my boys very much."
Jimin pondered on her questions and claims. "Jihyun isn't home?"
"He's not with you...? Oh dear! I was hoping- Oh lord!"
Jimin set down the phone yet he could hear the cries of his mother. He held it back to his ear. "I'm okay but I'm not coming home yet. Take care of yourself, I'll see you soon Eomma."
He pressed the red button on the screen. With swift movements of his fingers he entered the chat with his brother. There he left a message instructing the boy to let their parents know he was well. Next he set the phone down once more and shut it off.
With a deep inhale he stepped back out into the shop where he was taken in the embrace of Yoongi's once more. The man poked at his cheeks and played with his messy hair.
"Did you sleep well?"
Jimin nodded. "I feel refresh."
"Good baby, pretty boys need their beauty sleep. Trolls like me don't."
Jimin giggled at the joke and scrunched up nose of the man's. He set his head down on his shoulder as he swirled a long green strand. "Your hair reminds me of a toll." He muttered softly. Yoongi wasn't given the chance to respond for he was interrupted.
"Oh look it's Cosmo and Wanda! Timmy where you at!?" Chanyeol laughed obnoxiously at his own joke, Baekhyun besides him tried to hide his. He approached the pair with a package.
"As you asked for Mr.Reaper. Please be sure I am correct before vanishing off to hell." Chanyeol pushed the packaging forward. Jimin greeted them both as Yoongi ripped the box open with his free hand since he refused to remove the other one from the boy's waist. A smaller container was inside.
"Great but where's what I really want?" Yoongi turned serious as he slammed down the bottle of dye on the counter causing the boys to jump. A syllable of the first word left Chanyoel's mouth only to interrupted by clicking sounds of heels on the tiles. A woman with bright orange hair joined them, she set down a container with insides stained red.
"Queen about damn time you show." Yoongi snatched the container. Jimin was far too into a trance to acknowledge the odd delivery. His wide eyes could not be removed from those of the girl besides the woman.
"Sohyun?"
